Somewhere in the Carolinas
Career of a Dancer
Very doubtful that Bureau of Labor Statistics-type, or similarly reliable data is available that would provide a good estimate. For one thing, in most places, the dancers are still compensated as independent contractors rather than employees, which would make their tenure harder to track, especially since so many move from club to club, and even from locality to locality, on a regular basis. Given the nature of the business, somebody who wanted to do an economic or sociological survey would have difficulty getting reliable self-reported information from which to draw broader conclusions. Empirically, I question the assumption that most start at age 19-20. Some jurisdictions don't allow dancers under age 21 and, even in those that do, I rarely see many under age 21. I suspect that a very high percentage of those in that start under 21 flame out before reaching legal drinking age. In my favored dancer demographic, hot women in their 30s and even 40s, almost all I know well claim to have done this that or the other thing for a number of years before turning to dancing, meaning that dancers in their 30s may well have less than 10 years of experience under their thong strap. This seems to be particularly true of recent immigrants. I've never met one who admits to dancing in their old country, which isn't surprising, because there are many barriers to a woman trained in a particular trade or profession finding work in that field here, so they turn to dancing as a preferable alternative to house cleaning or other menial work. The "Golden Girls" I favor seem to be more prevalent in the afternoon when I'm mostly in the clubs, but I'd guess that they comprise 20-25% of the dancer population. With all that, my SWAG (scientific wild-ass guesses) would be that the median and average years of experience are not that different, and probably run between 5-6 years.

5/5 ALL ASSS
If I ran across a SC named "All Ass" I'd definitely check it out. I'd be browsing in the Petite Ass Department, though.

Happy times at Hannah, but with hassle
^Mr Eddy^ Agree but there are no better alternatives anywhere close. Very accurate description although I think the 8-10 characterization of the dancers is a bit aspirational, recognizing that these ratings are totally subjective.

I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
Why is it called a "fantasy"?
I'd break it down this way: If you buy into one of those deals where they let you take a race car for a couple of laps around the track, you are actually driving a fast car around the track. That doesn't mean that you are a race car driver, but you get to fantasize that you are, and it is still fun. If you pay to have sex with a hot woman at a strip club, you are undeniably having sex, but that doesn't make you a player, but you can fantasize that you are, and it is still fun.

I have 3 lives: Work, Dog Shows and Strip Clubs
Going with 2 or more friends to a strip club
Not for me. I love knocking back drinks with friends and coworkers, but not at the SC. If I'm hitting the clubs in my hometown, it's usually in the afternoon, and I'm usually on the prowl for extras, usually but not always a prearranged meetup with a regular. It would dramatically alter the perception that people I know have of me, and not in a good way, if they had any inkling what I was up to. I did see a former business partner at one of the local clubs 2 or 3 times. We didn't even acknowledge each other. Basically the same time in the afternoon the same day of the week. It wouldn't have been hard for him to observe that I was meeting the same woman each time, and that we were disappearing into a VIP room each time. Thankfully, he eventually relinquished custody of that club to me and I haven't seen him in over a year. There are definitely TUSCLer's that have interesting perspectives or a good sense of humor that I wouldn't mind sharing a couple drinks with, but even then I'd probably just as soon do it at an Irish pub (unless they were offering to pimp out their faves to me).

Nope. Stage is past the bar along the opposite wall, with maybe 10-12 barstools along it. Stage is basically chest/shoulder height. You can almost see your reflection in the vaginal piercings

Strippers who dislike the customers
5footguy raises a good point. In the real world, if you’re in an intimate relationship and the woman isn’t feeling like having sex for some reason, you’re just not having sex. OTOH, a dancer with bills to pay isn’t necessarily going to be in the same position to decline sex, especially with a regular. While as a smart businesswoman she might not overtly signal her unhappiness with the situation, it’s not going to endear her to even her most loyal and generous customer, who has no clue where her mind is at. In an ongoing situation, I would still expect the negative feelings to be short lived

Why are strippers so afraid of extras ?
It's pure economics. Dancers who don't do FS or extras generally have decided that they make enough money without resorting to that and all it entails, including but not limited to the risk of disease and incurring whatever emotional impact having sex purely for money might entail. As Shailynn noted above, dancers in other countries may not have as many alternatives. If the SCs in OPs areas are totally locked down, OP has other options. One would be to work out an OTC arrangement with one (or more) of the dancers at the local clubs. If that doesn't work out, there are always the escort sites. In either case, you just have to be willing to pay what the market demands, just like ITC.

Which state "does not prohibit" two way full contact to stripper?
This kind of granular detail is interesting to kick around on a discussion forum but really affords limited actionable intel, since there are dancers in more restrictive jurisdictions who will say "screw the law" and their clubs will let them get away with it, and there are clubs in more liberal jurisdictions that impose stricter limitations on contact that the dancers abide by. I've gotten a BBBJ in an Ohio club that serves alcohol and FS in a notorious NY non-alcohol club. Much more useful to research TUSCL reviews and, of course, do some trial and error, since, as always, YMMV.

I'm a 100% loner at the clubs and have zero interest in conversing with fellow patrons. Not what I'm there for. Broke my own rule yesterday though, because a man was sitting at the bar next to the hottest little dancer at the club, a bubbly Peruvian spinner, but they were having minimal conversation, in Spanish, and she was mostly just scrolling her phone. So, when she disappeared for a few moments, I sucked it up and chatted him up a bit, as best I could about the girl. He pointe me out to her when she returned and I gave her a little smile and wave, but she just returned to her phone. So, I moseyed over and asked Pedro (the name he had given me) if he minded if i had a dance with his "girlfriend". That broke the ice a bit. Turns out she is very new to dancing and just super shy. So, the dances weren't all that great (it is a low to zero mileage club anyway), but I have no regrets. Sometimes having a hot, barely clad young woman sitting on your lap and giggling at your corny jokes is good enough.

How long can this go on?
I don’t even bother to look at PH reviews any more, even though it’s located relatively close. At least in this part of the country, PH and Club Desire are the most overly reviewed clubs on this site. Particularly with PH, there just don’t seem to be any fresh takes or new, actionable information to be had, and the reviews are pretty formulaic. The outcome is always the same, with the only differences being how many songs it took and whether a tip was demanded (beforehand) or requested ( after the fact). Sort of like watching old Perry Mason reruns. The few times I’ve gone there, my experience has been identical to 95% of the reviews I’ve read At least with Desire, there are occasional roster changes and some variation as to which dancers may be “fun” in VIP.

I would have no idea how dancers I’ve encountered in one-off or sporadic situations feel about me, but assume that they are indifferent. It takes a lot of unnecessary energy to hate some rando for no reason, and I don’t give them any reason to hate me. I’m clean, respectful, try to be engaging, and, most importantly, generally tip generously. I make their work environment better than if I wasn’t there. That’s not to say that there aren’t the occasional encounters that are complete misconnections for which the dancers blame and therefore dislike me. C’est la vie I’m confident that the very small handful of dancers I spend time with on a recurring basis, with whom I am not only physically intimate but also have extensive conversations, like me, recognizing that they wouldn’t give me the time of day if there wasn’t money involved. I believe it because I like them personally, and it would be even more difficult for them to convincingly fake reciprocal plstonic affection over many encounters than it would be to convincingly fake orgasms. This is probably due to the fact that my core demographic tends to be single moms in their 30s who, while they may still like to party, tend to be more grounded than younger dancers. They also tend not to be skeeved out by older customers

Let's say you arrest three guys for the same killing. You put them all in jail overnight. The next morning, whoever's sleeping is your man. Customer service experience just sucks in most strip clubs
Thanks to TUSCL, and prolific, insightful reviewers like the esteemed OP, it is possible to avoid most of those experiences if you want to, including finding dancers who at least conceal their hatred/disdain/whatever of the customers. If you find yourself stuck in a community where the clubs are really locked down, there are always the escort sites

What inexpensive item do you have that is either super useful or enjoyable?
Craftsman Multi-Cut 3 inch utility tool. Pliers-type grip pushes a replaceable, heavy-duty razor blade onto a replaceable anvil. Brother in law gave it to me decades ago, and I have used it in so many situations where no other tool could possibly work.

Stripper Ethics
The reason why dancers ask customers if they are married has nothing to do with ethics or morals, but because it is a rough screen for the creep factor, as best illustrated from the following lines Alec Baldwin's character said to Matt Damon's character in The Departed: "Marriage is an important part of getting ahead: lets people know you're not a homo; married guy seems more stable; people see the ring, they think at least somebody can stand the son of a bitch; ladies see the ring, they know immediately you must have some cash or your cock must work." Per Skibum's comments, while I wouldn't do it anyway, shit talking your wife to a dancer detracts from the aura of stability and non-creepiness that married status can otherwise convey. It's also just as boring as when a dancer unloads on you about her issues with exes and baby daddies.

Sex on a bed in a private room is the main driver for the OTC experience, but I'll admit that I also get a kick out of being seen in public with a woman who is way out of my league and way younger than me. Sort of like tooling around in a luxury edition rental car that I would never own. I prefer a hotel with a bar in the lobby, or next door, so we can grab some drinks beforehand. One afternoon last week, I was bringing my OTC date to the hotel, and, since she was peckish, we stopped at a chain restaurant next door for drinks and snacks, just when the old folks were having their early bird meals. Afterward, she told me, with all humility, that all the guys were looking at me with jealousy ( I did pick up some looks the few times I glanced away from her-this was a gorgeous woman). I told her that all the women hated her, and she agreed. Anyway, the desk clerks make it their business not to get into anybody else's business. It's a non-issue.

Stripper Ethics
The majority of dancers I spend any time with ask if I'm married, and I always tell the truth. I've never received a negative reaction, much less a denial/curtailment of services. This includes several I see, and screw, both inside and outside the clubs, on a regular basis. I'm surprised to hear any react otherwise. It makes no sense.
