OTC & Hotels

I've been mongering for years, and have had a few good experiences in the past with OTC. However, it's only been a couple of times, and I find especially with travel taking me to the same scenes, that I am in a position where I can ramp up my OTC game in a few US cities that I visit frequently. (Detroit, Miami, etc.) I have very limited experience with escorts.

My question for you all is: how do you pick a hotel for OTC? Are there certain brands you avoid because they aren't monger friendly? It seems these days like every hotel is either Hyatt, Hilton or Marriott owned, are any of these brands particularly friendly or unfriendly to mongers?

And has anyone ever been called out by hotel management for bringing a SWer to their room? What happened and how did you handle it?

I rack up a lot of Wyndham rewards points through travel for work so I usually just go with one of their brands. I have never had anyone say anything when I bring a stripper back to the hotel with me.

The most I've ever experienced is a guy working the front desk giving a little grin or a girl at the front desk giving a bit of a dirty look. They never actually say anything and I imagine they see it on a regular basis, especially if the hotel is near any clubs where takeout is common.

I never really think about what the hotels think but I’m never OTC’ing with someone looking like Jamie Lee Curtis in Trading Places.
I do avoid areas that have valet only parking because the girls hate paying and dealing with valets.

I think it is well accepted that guys use hotel rooms to bang whores. Any desk personnel who have been on the job awhile have seen it and probably don't care as long as it doesn't bring pimps or drugs to their property.

With that said, I would use a place with a side entrance where you can walk from your vehicle directly to the room. Some 304's dress wat too proactively, and you may not want any extra attention from going through the main entrance or walking by families with kids. Upscale downtown properties usually funnel all traffic. through a main entrance. Suburban three or two star types of places usually have several side entrances.

If you think the 304 is going to be loud in bed, and it is a rendezvous after 22:00 or so, you may want to ask for a room away from other lodgers so as to avoid noise complaints. Just tell the desk person you like to watch television late into the night and would prefer an isolated room if possible so as to not disturb others.

I never do spots with less than a 3 star google rating.

I'm done saving on these ghetto ass hotels, not worth it. If I'm OTCing I'm gonna try to do a decent hotel. I don't do it often anyway. Certain brands I've never gone wrong, Holiday Inn, Best Western. Super 8 has been pretty good to me and some newer Motel 6's are actually pretty nice.

One issue I always have though I do not like getting the hotel ahead of time. I've done that game where shit falls through. If it's late though, a lot of these places sell out.

Since I seldom have overnight stays anymore, I use the dayuse.com app which allows rental of hotel rooms during the day only. You have to plug in your city and dates, and up comes a list of participating hotels and rates. Day rates are considerably less expensive than overnight rates, and there is usually a decent selection or properties at different quality levels. You usually have use of the room from about 9am - 5pm. Front desk people must know that these rentals are for sexual encounters, although they don’t know whether it’s a P4P situation or just a couple of married people hooking up for an affair. I’ve never had any major problems using it.

I second the Dayuse.com site. I've used it for a few years now, never had an issue. I check in and let the ladies know what room I'm in, they come up by themselves. Most of the hotels are not like Vegas hotels that require a room card for the elevator.

In Vegas, no one even notices it when you meet them downstairs.

There is a Holiday Inn Express on Michigan Avenue about 6 miles west of the Flight Club. There is a La Quinta right across I 94 from the Detroit airport, which is about 4 miles from the Landing Strip.

I am with Muddy. I stay in decent mid level places, Courtyard, Hampton Inn, etc. I usually meet the person by the door and walk her in. I have never had any issue. Biggest issue is for the dancer to actually show up.

Most times, desk clerks are busy with tasks / hanging on their phones to even acknowledge anyone, even those needing help.

So, unless the girl either (a) is know by hotel staff as being a problem, or (b) is provocatively dressed to the extent of other guests complaining, it generally isn't an issue.

Also, random girls headed to/from clubs or even dinner, dress sluttier than many escorts/providers.

RTP mentioned getting the dancer to actually show up, which can be infuriating if you’ve invested in a hotel room. One of the great things I forgot to mention about dayuse.com is that you don’t have to provide a credit card to make a reservation, and you don’t pay until you check in, AND you can cancel anytime. Hopefully you have an ongoing text chain or relationship with your OTC girl to be fairly sure she’s gonna show up, but if you haven’t heard from her and time is getting short, you can cancel the room without any cost, and then mark her off of your “to-do” list!

I remember when people on these boards didn't know what a day use hotel was and look at them now lol...

"And has anyone ever been called out by hotel management for bringing a SWer to their room?"

Not once. Some hotels you can check into now send a digital key so you don't even have to talk with anyone on staff if you don't feel like it.

"What happened and how did you handle it?"

If it ever happened I'd probably just smile and shrug. Then walk away. You don't know what the locals are going to care about so admit nothing and get on with your day.

I’ve had a few women meet me in various hotels when I’m on the road. I use the same approach they do - give them the name and location of the hotel, and ask them to text me when they’re in the parking lot. Then I give them clear directions to the lobby, to the elevators, and then to the room.

That way they can walk in as if they’re guests and find their way to the room without having to ask anyone. I crack the door open and when I hear them approach I open it for them. They understand the circumstances and arrive dressed in civvie clothes so to not attract attention.

Works like a charm.

"They understand the circumstances and arrive dressed in civvie clothes so to not attract attention."

You're clearly mingling in classier social circles than I am, but nevertheless if she shows up she's going upstairs. I don't care if she walks in wearing a wooden barrel and rubber boots.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Sounds like I'm probably overthinking this concern about hotel management and I should just pick a hotel based on comfort and location if planning for OTC.

I haven’t done very many overnight stays, but for short stays while OTC I usually pick the nearest hotel to that particular establishment ( besides the 60% I’ve banged inside a car, per their suggestion and nothing matches that in Fun ).So far, I’ve never encountered any issues by the hotel management and infact majority have been quite accommodating in this matter ( both at our local hotels as well as international ).

Sex on a bed in a private room is the main driver for the OTC experience, but I'll admit that I also get a kick out of being seen in public with a woman who is way out of my league and way younger than me. Sort of like tooling around in a luxury edition rental car that I would never own. I prefer a hotel with a bar in the lobby, or next door, so we can grab some drinks beforehand. One afternoon last week, I was bringing my OTC date to the hotel, and, since she was peckish, we stopped at a chain restaurant next door for drinks and snacks, just when the old folks were having their early bird meals. Afterward, she told me, with all humility, that all the guys were looking at me with jealousy ( I did pick up some looks the few times I glanced away from her-this was a gorgeous woman). I told her that all the women hated her, and she agreed.
Anyway, the desk clerks make it their business not to get into anybody else's business. It's a non-issue.
