No "low income workers" or dancers (I don't necessarily see a lot of overlap in those two categories) are being charged here, or are going to be hurt by this. The charges are against owners and managers who foolishly left too many breadcrumbs revealing that their income exceeded what they were reporting. The immigration and facilitating prostitution charges sound like add-ons to extract a plea on the tax fraud charges. Since there were no reported raids (just a search for financial records), no dancers are being charged with prostitution, or facing deportation. If EB shuts down, it will be a letdown for extras-oriented mungers, but the dancers can just pack up their G-strings and move up or down the road to other clubs.

Non-anecdotal, scientific explanation for who ages well is largely related to genetics, lifestyle, and non-lifestyle related health challenges. While, anecdotally, we notice the ugly ducklings who age into swans, there are plenty of people who were hot when they were young who remain hot (for their age) when they get older, but it is unremarkable so it goes unnoticed. There's something to the old saw about checking out the prospective mother in law before deciding whether to marry the daughter. I enjoy me some weed (or, more often, THC edibles) whenever I get the chance, including before/while strip clubbing when my workday is done, but I can't stand tobacco smoke in the remaining clubs that allow it (looking at you, Delilah's and Risque in Phila) and wouldn't want to see the trend reversed. Smoking patios and vapes in the LD/VIP rooms would be cool, though. Had a few dancers offer to share their vapes now and then. I'm usually already plenty high, but it's a nice sociable thing to do. Learned long ago to stop offering edibles, because the dancers are understandably leery of a stranger offering them something that isn't hermetically sealed.

BTW, thanks for your loyal service in writing tons or reviews over the past 7 years. As far as reviews by mongers who bring their SO to the SC, I've never had any reason to doubt they are genuine, but have little interest in reading because the customer dynamic is so much different for a male/female couple than a solo male. Here's the relevant sentence from the 12th Amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves". So, technically, the President and VP could be from the same state, but the electors from their home state could not vote for them. From a practical standpoint, Trump's VP pick is unlikely to move the dial. People who like the idea of Trump becoming President again are going to vote for him no matter what, and people who don't aren't going to vote for him regardless of who he picks. The irrelevance of VP selection to electoral outcome isn't unique to this election. OTOH, one VP pick that might make sense (for Trump) would be Herschel Walker. Overall, it wouldn't get him much traction with Black voters, but it could give him just enough to seal the deal in GA. The prospect of a President Walker if something happens to Trump during his term would be disastrous, but that is unlikely to be a consideration

DeSantis is out because he and Trump are both FL residents and Trump can't kiss those Florida electors goodbye as he would have to under the 12th Amendment. I nailed a Panamanian (my first) there just a couple weeks ago, and one of the old standbys (didn't even realize I'd banged her before until we were in the room) the following afternoon. Whodey makes some reasonable points and I'm always trying to look at things from the dancer's perspective. However, so far as potential criminal liability is concerned, it is not illegal in any US jurisdiction for a dancer to have a condom in her possession, nor is it admissible as evidence of a crime. Most healthy women in the age range of dancers at strip clubs have or use some form of birth control, unless they are actively trying to conceive. Also, the only way a LEO could learn that a dancer had a condom in her possession in the course of a raid would be as a result of a bodily search incidental to a lawful arrest. IOW, the LEO would need to have probable cause to arrest her, presumably for prostitution, or soliciting prostitution, which means the gig is up: There was sufficient evidence for an arrest, and conviction, independent of what the dancer had on her person or in her locker (which likely wouldn't be subject to search if the only crime for which there was probable cause related to prostitution). Anyway, in almost all of the clubs where dancers didn't come through with condoms, other dancers at that club have done so on other occasions, as have dancers who came up short on previous occasions. Now, many of us have encountered dancers who are cagey about working around club rules as far as where they keep condoms and when and how they break them out. For example, they make that suspenseful trip back to the dressing room before heading to the VIP. So, fear of losing the job isn't a plausible motivator for failing to have a condom on hand. As far as the cost of springing for a 3-pack is concerned, if the entire SC extras industry was oriented around a BYOC regime (which it isn't, IME), or, if a particular extras-friendly club was a BYOC club (which I also haven't experienced), then I'd have no problem stopping by CVS and spending the nominal cost for a 3-pack on each outing. But, that isn't the norm, and it makes no sense to spend the money on the off chance that this is one of those rare occasions that the dancer isn't equipped, only to end up leaving the purchase on top of a kneewall somewhere. I'm probably only moved to write about it because, in the most recent case, where I've already said the absence of a dancer-provided condom was due to an excusable lapse, the VIP room was equipped with mirrors (which should have had an "Objects in Mirror are Probably Smaller Than They Appear" warning) and I was looking over at the reflection of an unrecognizably large white hard-on being caressed by the dusky hand of the naked woman who was sprawled across me while my hand was buried in her vagina, and I was puzzled about why that pussy wasn't descending on my dick.
