Stigmas aren't real. It only affects you if you let it. There's a degree of freedom in owning it, that those who hide it will never fathom.
Easier said then done for those that rely on society. What you find is the people may be shocked, but that wears off.
Relationship with an SO is a different story, but even then it can be brought up. The earlier the better or forever hide.

The easiest way to improve your dating is Be friendly-- to everybody; old ladies, guys, that fat cow (ok that wasn't that friendly ;) -- but girls know when you're only being friendly to ones you're interested as doing so bc you want something. Girls >> guys are attracted to social proof. Even if you're dumb, clumsy, and physically unattractive, if you create a good time for everyone around you, you will be attractive.

Best way to meet people is in person. Reading forums, talking about blackpill, pua, IG etc is the mark of someone who spends all his time behind the computer. I've never had anybody reject me nor heard of any rejections face to face bc of my IG count nor do I have one.
Same thing that attracted women 20, 30, 50 yrs ago is the same thing that attracts them now: confidence, humor, personality, connection, resources etc. Looks too, but there's a difference between looking good and being good looking.
Develop attractive qualities. Hint: bitching about how dating's changed and how nobody will give you time of day isn't one.

As far as if looks matter, everything matters. Money, reputation, charisma, looks. Arguably in that order. Lots of peeps think they have the 1st three but freely admit to not having the last.
* for hygiene in there somewhere. Probably less so for the waffle house variety.

I'm a sucka and overpay for meetups at the same time I always have backup plans. Could be as simple as money saved or spending less than half of agreed amount and having different fun at the SC. Things get more complicated if I bought event tickets or booked a hotel in advance, none of which I do anymore.
To answer the question, I only do meetups w/faves and give them plenty of chances. A club fave remains a club fave even if she's flaky outside. I used to have a no show no tip rule to cover the cost of unused booking, but as stated no longer do.
After the first flake I expect flakes from there on out and plan accordingly. Even before the first one I get a good read on whether she's serious or not. Responsiveness, enthusiasm, agreeableness, flirtatiousness are good signs leading up. Ghosting for any reason is not. Her response level should be at or above the level to see her at the club.

I have multiple budget levels: what I'm wanting to spend, comfortable spending, willing to spend, and oh shit don't do this again level spending. It helps that I don't want to be a known club regular, so I don't go frequently and I also have faves I plan around.

Rankings are about validation. It means nothing in regards to quality of content. Some have large followings from IG/twitter/snap etc that have convinced fans to support them via OF but w/limited or lame exclusive content. A better indicator is number of photos/vids/posts etc to see how active they are otherwise you got those that try to up charge you for more content on top of the monthly fee.
