As others have said it has to do with environment growing up. In my community growing up we had Puerto Rican, Dominican, AA, Italian and Irish families and each had a few families that had teen mothers. And for those families it was kind of a badge of honor. I still remember the parties they threw for teen mothers and teen fathers. When I was in high school in the late 80s it seemed 6 out of 10 girls were pregnant in school or within a year after graduating. I got out lucky being as I was more into self pleasure than actually having a girlfriend. Ball cap just because I usually leave home wearing one. The place I frequent in Manhattan I usually take it off before I walk in but recently I've kept it on walking in take it on and off inside as I please. The place in Queens I have to check my cap but it seems only after 7PM but I take it off anyway as I have not seen anyone wearing hats inside. It kind of pissed me off that I had to remember a ticket for a ball cap when I intend to get piss drink. Luckily few people in the places I frequent have that brand of cap.
