With my years of experience I am now able to pick the best girl at my favorite clubs which leads to a lot of fun in the back. However, my favorite club has a communal LD area and I find that a lot of the dancers and customers like to watch. I guess being a voyeur is human nature, but there are a few dancers who never approach me at the bar, but when we enter the LD room I can see them glaring at me. Maybe trying to collect tips because my fav always does a good job?
Truthfully when I have been in those communal dance rooms my eyes tend to wonder to see who is getting the best dances. Especially if I'm not getting a good one.
Many dancers that don't want to give high-mileage look down on custies and dancers that engage in high-mileage bc they see it as unwanted-competition/hurting-their-profit$
A very long time ago at the Columbia SC Platinum Plus, I was in a communal dance room with my ATF. There were 2 other couples back there. The dancer sitting directly across from us finished dancing, got up, got dressed and left the room but her customer stayed there. During the next song he kept staring at us and was creeping my ATF out. So we decided to leave at the end of the song.
The next song started while she was finishing getting dressed. The voyeur customer got up and moved down to watch the other couple. As we started to leave, he whipped out his cock and started jerking off while standing in front of the other couple watching them.
My ATF ran out of the room and got a bouncer. He was escorted out of the club.
I am always checking out the other dancers in clubs with a communal LD area. I would do it at one of my old favorite clubs even though it had mirrors on every wall and the girl I was getting the dance from could see me looking elsewhere. At that club, even the girls would check out the other girls.
Why would people care if some pathetic loser is looking at them? having sdaid that one great thing about the inner Room is that no one looks and if you have ever been there you know that not looking takes a huge effort due to proximity.
I often look around to see which girls give the best dances. And I’m also looking to see which girls may be providing extra friendly attention. It’s valuable information to use in deciding who you want to pay to be your girlfriend for the evening.
I assume your talking about Clanceys. There's nothing you can do about the communal LD area or the staring. Except that you can try to go when its quiet and increase your odds of being alone back there. The girls staring at you are the ones who are pissed that the girls are getting all the guys becuase they are willing to do more.
As gSteph mentioned there's a difference b/w an occasional curious glance and plain staring - the glancing is understandable and not a big deal but the staring is rude and feels uncomfortable.
Papi & gS +1. In most communal setups everyone is concentrating on the same thing (their own lapdance enjoyment) so that even though someone else is sitting next to you, you feel a privacy of sorts because nobody else besides your dancer is paying any attention to you.
My gripe at clubs with open LD areas during slack times is that so many "pet rock" type customers (those who just sit there without stage tipping or getting LD's) plop themselves on LD wall couch when there are many regular stage or table seats available. Even though they may not be staring at you, you get the kind of invasion of privacy feeling you might get if someone were just standing around in the middle of the restroom(with plenty of available urinals or stalls) while you took a whizz. Hey, maybe that's why I hate bathroom trolls.
Dislike of male customers voyeuring a dance I'm getting is why I never get open floor dances. Probably wouldn't care though if another dancer were watching.
Agree with @skibum that the set-up at Desires for LDs and CRs is the best. The way I like it. Heck, at another club I go to that has the CR divided into an open space divided into couches kinda like a four-leaf clover, I get pissed when another couple even comes into the CR area, let alone start staring.

Yeah, this is a problem in clubs w/o a dedicated dance area where certain seats are used for dances but clueless PLs that don't buy dances don't see an issue them occupying up those seats (and sometimes dancers not giving dances do the same thing) - I get just as pissed at the club for allowing this.
There are only 3-couches at Follies and on my previous visits half the spots are taken up by dudes just hanging out and not spending shit (and sometimes dancers also hang out there talking to other dancers)
@willy you are right. Thats my biggest pet peeve and i think yours as well. The majority of the girls who dance there are duds and the customers tend to be reserved. However, whenever I go back to the LD room it seems like me and my fav can never get 15 minutes to ourselves without a pair coming back to ogle.
Voyeurism for the sake of it doesn't bother me as much as other dancers being nosy and watching for the sake of trying to get the girl I'm dancing with in trouble. Like if they blab to the manager that she's doing something she's not supposed to do or something she deems inappropriate, even if it really isn't. It's not like clubs don't have cameras now and bouncers walking around the dance area every 10 seconds and they can decide for themselves.
I get LD watchers a lot because once I find a dancer I like I'll get at least 5 dances at a time with her. And if I'm trying a new dancer and she doesn't know how to dance and just a pretty face and nice body I will interrupt her before that first song is over kindly hand her a $20 and be done with her. And since I'm a frequent customer at the places I go the other dancers and regulars notice. I don't mind.
As for the dancers glaring when you walk out of the bar area to the LD area. At the places I've been it is usually darker in the main room and they glare at everybody that walks in even the other dancers.

Even in open dance areas - people mind their own biz.
Unless dancer is squirting

Staring is rude, especially when overdone.
Reasonable glancing to check out desirable dancers, sort of expected.
During a so-so dance.
During a great dance, we're the only 2 people in the room (world).
