I love boobies
Same reason they ask what you do for work or what hobbies you have. They are just making small talk until they feel it's the right moment to ask if you want to do a private.

There have been times when I have spent less than $100 even though I was willing to spend more. The club was just lame when I was there.

I thought most dancers were independent contractors, so the clubs don't really care.

I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
Must be just in your area.

I always have mine with me because they are in my wallet. But, if I were at concerned that I might not be disciplined enough not to use them, then I would leave my cards at home.
Cash is different. I don't trust myself not to spend every single dollar, so I only take the amount of cash that I'm willing to spend. Any cash I have over that amount, I leave at home in my piggy bank.

For me, being approached is part of the fantasy. I will go up to a specific dancer if that's who I have 100% decided on that visit. But if I am open to anyone, then usually it's the dancer that approaches me first that gets my money.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
It's not the Miss Universe Pageant that is declaring bankruptcy. It is the parent company JKN Global Group that is doing that. It's a multi-billion dollar conglomerate that owns several companies, of which the pageant is just one.
And remember that when a business declares bankruptcy, it's not like a when an actual human being does. It's part of a strategy to get out of paying their bills and screw over other people. They have plenty of money.

If they have any good thoughts about me, I wouldn't mind knowing, but if they think badly of me, I already have an ex-wife to let me know that.

My number one rule has always been to decide how much I'm going to spend and take that amount in cash. Once it's gone, it's time to go home. I don't have to spend that much. It's fine if I go home with money in my pocket. I just won't go over that amount. No going to the ATM or getting an advance on my credit card. The amount I take is my limit.

More than once you said, "Why would I lie about this?"
For the same reason she would lie about it. Money. Now, I'm not saying that you lied. Nor I am I saying that she lied. I wasn't there. I didn't see anything. I don't know. Which is the same position the club management was in. Unless someone was watching you two, either life of with a camera, they don't know which of you is telling the truth. So, it's not surprising that they would decide to back one of their own over a stranger. Especially if you are the fist person to ever complain about her.
If they get a lot of complaints about her, she will be gone pretty quickly though.

My concern for someone going to a strip club while grieving is that they may not be thinking straight. And if they aren't thinking straight, they might do something they regret like drinking too much or handing over their ATM card and PIN to a dancer.

I don't drink so I don't care, but I have my doubts that a dry club could survive for long. At least not in my area.
