I’m in the same boat in that it’s all discretionary income outside of necessities and savings, so it’s whatever from my personal finance perspective. I’d much rather be able to spend it on clubbing than save it.

Pretty sure the topic of how not to get caught has been covered. You basically should keep everything separate from your normal life, e.g. phone, money, etc. I also think you shouldn’t shit where you eat. Some guys in that situation go to clubs that are very close to home, and that’s just playing with fire.

The point of diversification is to manage uncertainty and information gap. If you have that much of an information advantage compared to rest of the market participants, then yes there’s an argument against diversification. By definition most market participants are not in that position.

Do you care if it’s true? If you do then you need to read the situation. If you don’t just thank her and tell her you appreciate it. No different from responding to any salesperson who told you they are treating you in some special way.
