As Cristobal said, "they do not ask for ID just the name in which the reservation was made." They don't care, believe me. Outside of TUSCL, I generally need to keep my mongering on the down low, but I wanted the confirmation on the hotel reservation. Fortunately for me, I didn't care that they had my email address, and I wasn't worried that my wife would see the email they sent back to me. Just so you know, the sender on the email that came back was listed as "Hotel Cascadas" with the subject line "Hotel Cascadas Reservation Request." If you're worrying about someone seeing your email, that might be a problem. If you're worrying about getting a bunch of subsequent spammy emails from them, that has not happened to me at all. If you use a fake email address and their confirmation email bounces back to them as undeliverable, I'm not sure if they will honor your reservation. Not saying they won't -- I just don't know. FWIW, when I got the VIP card at HK, I did use the same fake name but gave them a fake email address, and that was no problem.

I am a bit over 5'10", so pretty average in that regard. I generally like petite women, and have had sex with a couple who were less than five feet tall -- one was/is an ex-girlfriend and another was a dancer I met in a Pompano, Florida club last year. I've had others who were maybe 5'1" or 5'2". But attractive women come in all heights. The tallest I ever had was a girl I worked with when we were both teenagers; she was 6'0'' or maybe 6'1". What can I say? Short or tall, I like 'em all.

I was in college in Boston in the early 1970s, and my roommate, who was a theater tech major, worked at the Pilgrim Theatre. He handled all of their tech work -- lighting, sound, and whatever else needed to be done. What he didn't tell me for quite some time is that the theater featured strippers. The Pilgrim Theatre was one of the most infamous places in an area of downtown that was called the Combat Zone, Boston's way of containing the seedier elements of society (like yours truly, I guess). The typical thing at the Pilgrim Theatre was for them to show what were then called XXX movies for an hour, put live strippers on stage for 30 minutes, then repeat that rotation. At age 20, I had never seen a stripper, and I asked my roommate about it -- and wondered whether it would be OK to bring my girlfriend, who was as curious as I was. He said sure, and told me that they didn't do anything the law didn't allow. Sounded safe enough for me. We came into what looked like a normal movie theater with a stage. Yes, the porno movie was going full tilt, as graphic as anything you'd see online today, and the most startling thing was that instead of the movie soundtrack, all you could hear was loud rock music blaring from the speakers. Much to my delight, the recorded music was the Allman Brothers Band. Sweet!! The strip show was quite an eye-opener for my 18-year-old girlfriend and me -- apparently the law allowed the girls to dance in nothing but high heels, and the expression "spread eagle" took on a whole new meaning for me. There were no lap dances and no Champagne Room - just the movies and the naked women on stage.

I'm not quite as old as shadowcat, but his experience sounds like my first exposure to a stag film -- black & white, no sound, 8 mm shown on a noisy projector. I was probably in 6th grade, and my buddy who was in 5th grade had this film which we showed on his bedroom wall. Not sure where he got it. Low quality and very tame by today's standards, but I remember it like it was yesterday. Pretty heady stuff for that day and age, and, as shadowcat said, very hard to come by, especially as a minor. My next exposure to porn (on film) was on the day I turned 18, and another friend, who was 19, took me to a local movie theater to see my first XXX movie -- "The Stewardesses" which was not only in color, it was in 3D. What a trip.

Not sure what it means to others here, but my own personal definition of a spinner is along the lines of what gammanu95 said, pertaining to the structured fitness regimen associated with indoor cycling, or "spinning." The women I know who do that are generally very fit, with firm legs, slim hips, a flat stomach, and maybe mid-sized or small-ish but well-proportioned boobs. Just the way I like 'em.

jsully63 makes a good point about finding a dancer who is experienced with couples. Naturally, that's helpful, but even dancers who are not experienced with couples may come around if they feel the woman is pleasant and friendly, and is obviously 100% on board. As I mentioned in my post above, I always have my female friend initiate the conversation. She and I have actually had a few girls tell us afterward that we were her first "couples" experience. I can pretty much bet that those dances would never have happened had my female friend not been the one to approach the dancer from the outset.

Nicespice is absolutely right. The relatively few times I've visited a club with a female friend, I've always had her talk to the dancers about doing something behind the curtains with the two of us. Female customers in strip clubs are complicated. If the man asks the dancer about "having fun with couples," she will likely be leery about how the woman really feels about even being there. On the other hand, men in strip clubs are not complicated at all. If the woman goes to the stage and asks, the dancer can 100% assume the man already has a hard-on as he watches the conversation.

I travel a lot and am very frequently in clubs that are new to me. I'm like Subraman, who said, "In new clubs, I often take the tour. Might as well see what the club layout is, where the rooms are and what they cost." I did that at one of the COI clubs, took her up on the post-tour dance offer, and had the time of my life, or at least something pretty damn close to that -- total GFE with a very hot GND-type. If I get the chance, I like to see how big the rooms are, how they are appointed, and what the level of privacy is -- rather than blindly agreeing to dances in the back while out on the floor and hoping for the best. Most times, though, I just say no to the post-tour offer, deferring a decision until I'm ready. As always, you gotta keep your wits about you, stand your ground, and not let the little head do the thinking. Probably helps that I don't drink! I will say this, though -- I won't do a tour with a pair of girls working together. Hard to imagine that would ever end up being a high-value proposition.

It definitely happens. Just 10 days ago I was getting serviced in a curtained booth at Henry VIII in the Detroit area and we heard spanking coming from the booth across from us. And squeals of delight. My dancer commented on it -- directly to the other dancer -- and we all had a good laugh.

I have not had a drink in a strip club -- or anywhere else for that matter -- in more than 25 years. In strip clubs I buy (insanely marked-up) bottled water, tip well, and nobody thinks anything of it. I can usually nurse that bottle the whole time I'm there. That way I always have a bottle in front of me, which keeps the waitresses at bay. Once in a while, a dancer will say, "You're not drinking?" When I tell them, no, I only drink water, a lot of them say, "That's really smart." I think most girls would rather deal with PLs who are pleasant and sober than drunken assholes. I rarely get asked if I'm a cop, and I have no problem getting extras (even as a pudgy old fart). There are plenty of posters here on TUCSL who don't drink or don't drink much, and everyone seems to be having a good time. Don't give it another thought -- just go, grab a Coke or something, and enjoy the girls.

I have been to HK nine separate times and have had *very* good luck almost every time. I definitely seek the GFE and have gotten it more often than not. Yes, I've had a couple of trips upstairs that were not quite A+ experiences, but I've *never* had a dead fish or a mechanical, let's-get-this-over-with-so-I-can-go-back-downstairs-as-soon-as-possible experience. I will say that I have mostly taken the younger ones. I think they are more eager to please and less jaded than the older women, but that is an overly broad generalization that would certainly not be true across the board. Everyone has their own way to approach the girls. Obviously, if you're a jerk, that will work against you. I try to let them know how happy I am to be enjoying their company, even if it's just to say "me gusta mucho" ("I like this a lot!") as I'm caressing their bare boobs. You can tell a lot by how they respond. It's not like you're trying to figure out which one of the girls is likely to go upstairs with you -- they *all* will, so that's not the question. Pay attention and be prepared to walk away if they don't warm up to you. When it comes to making a decision to take them upstairs or not, like others have mentioned, what has worked best for me is to buy them a ficha drink for $9 to feel them out (and up) to see what they're like. *Maybe* a lap dance for $22, but the action in the booths over a drink is usually very high mileage and will tell you a lot. My Spanish skills are muy pobre (very poor), so I look for girls who speak enough English to get by or are willing to put up with my lousy Spanglish and be amused by the fact that I'm at least trying. I've met some gorgeous girls there that I just can't talk with, and I have (reluctantly) not taken them upstairs. However, the chances of meeting a gorgeous girl I'm more compatible with -- and doing so in short order -- are quite high. There are usually a good number of girls there who speak enough English to make it all work for me. The meseros (waiters) all speak fluent English and are happy, for even a dollar tip, to find you a girl who meets your needs, and they know the ones who speak English. All in all, I think it's not that hard to have a good time there.

I've been reading mostly favorable reviews about Hip Hugger ever since I joined TUSCL four years ago, but didn't know if it would be worth the 1-hour-plus drive or not. I *will* have a rental car, and if I end up having the time, I might just check it out.

LostinFLA, there's no right or wrong way to do this. Do whatever makes you comfortable. I travel a lot, and am often flying solo in a club I've never been to before. Like shadowcat, I like to have my back to the wall, and I often achieve that by sitting at the bar and turning my stool around so that my back is to the bar and I can survey the whole room. When not at the bar, I tend to prefer stools at high-top tables against the wall as opposed to a standard chair at a low table in the middle of the room. I think when you're at a low table and a girl comes to sit with you, it's slightly harder to get them to leave if you're not interested. Being approached at a high-top is less of a commitment on the girl's part, and makes a quick "No thanks, I'm good right now" easier for her to leave than when she's already planted herself. I very rarely start out near the stage, where there's an expectation of tipping every girl who gets up there to dance. If there's someone I want to get a closer look at, I'll definitely go up there to tip and chat a bit (and maybe cop a feel), but generally don't park myself there for any length of time. I like interacting with the girls, both verbally and physically, and I've generally had good luck with that sitting with my back to the bar and being open to the room. But that's just me. Do whatever feels most comfortable to you.

When I walk into *any* strip club, I am always carrying one or more. As my Boy Scout training taught me, one must "Be Prepared."

I didn't say it got published, just that it had been submitted for approval. I saw it early this morning and rejected it, but not without copying it first so I could post a discussion about it. rh48hr rejected it, too, and I'll bet a third trusted TUSCLer finally pulled the plug. But still, I thought it was SO f-ing bad that it deserved being called out in a discussion, perhaps as a warning to newbies that shit like that just ain't gonna fly here.

Shadow, you know I know exactly who you're talking about, as would several others on this site. I got several dances from her just last week. The torrent of whispered-in-my-ear stripper shit was literally non-stop, but as you say, her body and the UHM dances she gives are totally worth putting up with it. She goes on and on describing in *very* graphic detail what she wants me to do to her, both inside and outside the club. Yeah, pretty laughable.

Yes, I just saw three unpublished reviews of the same club by the same person -- two were identical and one was only slightly edited. I rejected two and considered rejecting the third (out of annoyance), but I didn't. Obviously, duplicates are getting through and being published. Kind of sucks if someone is getting double VIP credit for no additional work and no value added to the site...
