What actually surprises me is that (especially in California) that stripper (I'm sorry, dancers) haven't unionized.

They are (in general, exemptions may apply under special or specific instances) independent contractors governed by specific work conditions specified by the establishment. Remember (for the most part) they pay ownership for the right to work there (house fees) and split the profits on certain revenues (drink fees, dance fees) and in general are given a gratuity (tips) by customers for services offered.

Thing is, has anyone really seen any new small clubs open in the past couple years, or any bars that have put on dancers? As the old clubs close there aren't any really replacing them. If attrition continues like it has all the small clubs will be gone soon.

Maybe we're onto something here. Maybe with the demise of Backpage and the like there will be more demand again for the "hole in the wall" strip club and go go bars. I do agree, though, as there are less and less factory jobs there less and less guys stopping by as a small group after work to have a couple beers and see some boobs.

I agree, most of the old "hole in the wall" dive bars are gone. IMO they just cannot compete with the higher end clubs. Nicer place opens, better girls go there. Small club has trouble keeping dancers so customers go where the dancers are. No customers and club dies. Also, the club get dancers of lower caliber, starts "looking the other way" on activities going on and LEO visits, club gets shut down. Or, lower quality of girls and a lower quality of customers start showing up. Along comes drugs and LEO visits, again club shut down. Or it's an election year. You have a district attorney that is running for reelection. He vows to clean up the area, so he goes after the smaller clubs that the owners don't have the resources to defend themselves, so either a deal is struck and they shut down or get closed down by some BS undercover that bait the dancers with offers of crazy money.

I've had older strippers brag about how long they've been dancing, usually right before they claim to know much better how to please because of experience. Usually something like "I've been doing this for 15 years, you wanted get a dance from a girl who doesn't know what she's doing, or someone who's experience?"

I've challenged SJG in the past, he just gets nasty and starts calling you names. If you look he has all sorts of comments, but has never left a review. Personally, I feel that if your gonna be able to participate in the discussion section you should at least have had to left a few reviews.

There was a club i used to go to hears ago that had a female dj, was in northestern PA about 20 yeats ago. She was a previous dancer at the place so knew "what went on in the back". If you were on your way to the back if you slipped her a few bucks she'd play really long songs. She was also known to give a handy in the restroom in between sets. Really miss that place.

I agree, vaping people are the worse. I'm a smoker, but always try to be considerate of those around me. Sat by a guy the other night at a bar that was vaping (a bar I wasn't allowed to smoke in) and had to keep wiping his oily residue off my glasses. I asked him to please blow the cloud in a different direction, his response was that he could vape wherever he wanted.

I'm hooked on a show called Supernatural, watched it from day one when it was just about 2 brothers that go around the country in a classic chevy hunting monsters and urban legends. Wish it would go back to that, but now into it got almost a decade and a half, just have to see how it all ends at this point
