I used to like La Chambre . When the construction starter on I-96 they sort of fell out of the rotation for me. I always like the old fashioned ice cream parlor feel of the place. I don't know ,I wasn't there. Easy to weigh in on what we all think could have happened. All you have is John's side of it and he may be not be an accurate reporter. Variety is the spice of life. If it was just lookin' I doubt I would go as often as I do. Given the thrill of easy conquest it is hard to resist. Some guys just have repressed themselves to the point of numbness I guess. Issues like trust and goodness are , at best, artificial constructs and do not have to govern your life. I treat myself well and I treat those who are important to me well also. Life is what you make it. You should review what you believe to be true and find out if it really is or just something you have accepted w/o examining it. Having to get to drunk to have a good time is a really bad sign.

There are, or were, a couple topless bars in the Detroit area ( Mustangs and Crestwood ) but they were not dance clubs jus topless bars. usually the gals just wore sheer tops or bikini tops with the lid down. Pretty lame actually.

I was in a VIP closet once and another customer tripped over my feet while passing to his private moment ." No problem" I said as he mumbled his apologies. At that point he toppled into my private affair and knocked the girl over , who, being on her knees, was unstable. The bouncer came over as I may have aid "WTF!" a little loudly. The Criket is only three minutes away from the Flight Club. It is free to park and to enter and no fee for VIP. You should check it out. If it is dead ( on Fridays it is all hands on deck) you can get to the FC very quickly..BT's is your best bet for young uns but Dearborn is a mixed bag on the Po -po.

I almost always buy lunch/dinner at my club. The price is average and it allows me time to see the room before I am ready to commit. I tip a couple of dancers while I wait for my food and it just slows down the whole experience. I am not a big drinker so it is always good to eat something first. It is a long drive home.
