Mostly agree, but I do appreciate it when a review says what kind and how loud the music is. For a while I was going out of my way to go to a club partly because it had better music than others in the area.

I too have used "Update club details" and it works fine for me. I'm sure it's more convenient for Founder than a PM.

By the way, Bud is not a kind of beer. Bud is a brand of beer. The different kinds of beer are things like ale, lager, porter, and stout, with lots of variations like lager and IPA.

We like to try to figure out whether dancers like us for who we are or for our money, and tend to think of these as two mutually exclusive categories. I believe that for the girls it's more of a spectrum. Step back a minute and try to take the emotion out of it. Here's an example. I have a mechanic who works on my car. He's also an old friend. We drink together and go to each other's parties. But he also works on my car, and I wouldn't dream of asking him to fix my brakes for free. Dancers are kind of like this. They may genuinely like you and enjoy your company, they might even give you the occasional freebie, but you shouldn't assume they're going to give you any service for free. Keep that in mind, and also take Slick's advice to heart. She's human too, treat her like a person, but be the captain of your ship, take control of the situation and chart the course.

Drac, there are times I want a parade of 9s, and I go to Flight Club. There are other times I want to observe the underbelly of SC culture and I go to La Chambre. Still other times I just want to hit and run, and I go to Bogart's or John's Hot Spot. And sometimes I just want to get a drink and chat with half naked girls, so I go to Toledo.

When the "fancy" Detroit clubs went to $25 I did start going to the dives more. And I take advantage of the clubs that have $10 nights more than I used to. But I don't think I have been going less, just going to cheaper places. Overall it's been a good thing, as I now have an appreciation for the cheap places.

I could imagine some strange set of circumstances where I had to get some work done and decided the club would be a better place to work than the office or hotel room. I could even imagine getting out an iPad to check or update tuscl on the club I'm in. I've never done either, but I could imagine it.

I do not tip girls just because they happen to be walking past my table. I don't care how "awkward" it gets.

I'd say Mr. Dice is about right. I would have guessed $200 to $400. $200 if it's just floors, partitions, wiring, normal plumbing, etc. $400 if you've got some heavy-duty construction like staircases, moving bearing walls, breaking up a concrete floor for drains, reinforcing the roof for HVAC, moving the entrance, etc. Lighting, sound, and bar equipment will add quite a bit too. But you're asking the wrong guys.
