    The term "petite"
@ JayJay: I wouldn't mix the terms "petite" and "tall" when describing a woman's stature. I feel they're contradictory. My answer to your question would be "tall and slim" or "tall with a proportional figure." I really can't think of an known term for the figure type you're describing. @ Jackslash and Steve229: Collectively, you have established well-refined definitions of "petite." In any event, I wouldn't consider a busty woman (tall or short) as petite. Maybe that figure type should be known as "wonderful and highly desirable!"

I'm having too much trouble following this thread. I can see that I'm only getting parts of the story. It appears that everyone on my ignore list has posted something on this thread! Has that happened to anyone else before?

    More Off-Topic Olympic Women
@ gmd: Here in Everett, WA, there were Olympic prelims in rhythmic gymnastics last fall. I went to an afternoon of it with friends who have a daughter that once participated in that sport. It was great watching. I too, caught some of it on NBC's coverage a couple of nights ago. @ motor: I'm not at all a BMX fan, but I did happen to see some of the BMX events, and was thoroughly amazed at what a beautiful course the Olypics designed for it. It's tough to see all those spills!

    Strip Club Loyalty Program
Here in Seattle, the problem is getting certain clubs just to honor the advertising they already have in place: The Deja Vu chain gives out free passes at its eight Puget Sound Region locations. Additionally, on Deja Vu's website, there is a free pass that can be printed, for free admission (drink charge still applies) to any of its locations nationwide. There are no conditions on any of these passes, such as valid during certain hours, or days. Also, there is no expiration date. Yet it seems every couple of years, the main office comes down with a "policy" for a period of time, that they won't honor those passes after 7 p.m. That's even when that isn't stated on the passes. Hence, they're committing an act of fraud by not honoring their own advertising.

Where can you make the most money as a dancer?
Definitely not Seattle. Portland maybe. As Tiredtraveler mentioned, above, Stiletto25 could advise you. She knows both cities. You can find her at: https://www.tuscl.net/u.php?UID=250058

Do Stripping and Smoking Go Hand-In-Hand?
I agree that there seems to be a high percentage, but when it comes to comparing dancers with the general population, it would be best to sample the othe component as well. Until that's done, we can only speculate. Being a nonsmoker, I have been fortunate to cultivate several favorites over the years who don't smoke. I've seen them countless times in and out of their clubs, so I know for certain they don't smoke. I appreciate that very much. Most have no tatoos or piercings either. They're also very light drinkers.

How long wait before calling a Stripper?
There are exceptions to every rule. I have a few of them. I don't go to clubs as much as I did a few years ago, and I don't spend as much money when I do go, as I used to. But, I still have two dancers that regularly keep in touch with me, even when I'm not spending money on them. If they haven't heard from me in a week's time, they're likely to contact me, to make sure I'm okay. I know that one of them is in a strong relationship with a long-time boyfriend. I also had a dancer give me her new phone number after she stopped dancing in my local area. We still keep in touch.

Maybe the above two posts are just being facetious. In the event they're not, I think the OP meant 5'7" not age 57. OP's primary profile pic might be her own pic. She looks far from (age) 57.

    Dancer: Dinner's on me
Steve, that falls into the general category of dancers returning the favor to a customer for having been a good or faithful customer for a long time. Even though you haven't regularly bought dances from her, she's still recognizing you've done nice things for her and she chose to reciprocate. I've had just a few of those over the years. Mostly they've been in the form of a birthday or Christmas gift. Of all the times I've taken dancers to dinner, not one has ever said, "This one is on me," spontaneously. One did arrange ahead of time to take me out to dinner, on her dime.

Yakima jury hears case: Does strip club permit denial warrant damages?
@ deogol: Re-read shadowcat's second post. The money Olson got for Muffet was only $9,570 in expenses that Muffet incurred to open the club. $5,000. of that was in permit fees. Another $8,000. was in advance rent on the building. Next, re-read the last three paragraph's of shadowcat's first post. Muffet failed to adequately demonstrate that he would have had a successful business had he been able to open.

Additionally, attorney Olson did bone up for her client's case. She was observed getting some lap dances in the club so she'd have a better feel for the case.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
    A first.....that I know of
I did get to enjoy a female disc jockey at a formerly favorite club of mine and she was great! This was at the Strip Joint, Pomona, CA in 2005-06. She was the former dancer, "Trinity" who took a hand at making the music. When she had control of the music choices she chose mostly soft style songs that gave the club a different vibe. The dancers loved her work since she had just been a dancer herself and knew how a deejay's work affected dancers. The customers loved her soft sexy, sensous voice. She was only the second woman d.j. I ever experienced. I'd glady like to see more!

Yakima jury hears case: Does strip club permit denial warrant damages?
It's interesting the the defendant chose as his attorney, Kristin Olson of Bellevue, WA. She was the attorney who quite unsuccessfully defended the owner, Bob Davis, of "Jiggles" strip club in Seattle in early 2011. The club opened in December 2010 without proper city permits, and wasn't even in the correct location for a strip club (had to be more than 800 ft. from schools, churches, parks, etc.). A frickin' school was right across the street from Jiggles, and a church was in the next block! Davis thought he had an "angle" in getting around that. Once the city announced it's intention to investigate the matter, Davis told his dancers and other employees that if it does go to court, it will take at least 18 months to work its way through the system, so they were all assured of their jobs for at least that long (an eternity in strip clubdom). On day one (the only day) of the court proceedings, in mid-March 2011 , local Seattle media outlets announced the court's decision early in the morning. I got a text from a (non-Jiggles) dancer at 10:20 a.m. that morning announcing the judge's decision to side with the city of Seattle in the matter. It looks like Olson's and Davis' estimate of 18 months was "just a bit off the mark." It may have only taken 18 minutes to decide the matter. The club was forced to close the day of the court decision, approximately three months after it opened.

    Questions about Austin
JayJay, When dancers ask me for advice about where to work, I will gladly tell them what I know, but I always suggest that they talk to other dancers for the best advice. I'm flattered that you feel the TUSCL membership is better than stripperweb. However, I'll suggest that you PM some of the dancer members of TUSCL for advice. Even if they're not in TX, maybe some of them know other dancers there.

High Mileage Clubs in City of Industry, CA area
"City of Industry (COI)" in the world of strip clubs means high mileage. Look in TUSCL's directory of clubs. ANY CLUB with a COI address will be high mileage. Also,Paradise Showgirls, in La Puente, is geographically part of the same area. Another in the vicinity is the Tropical Lei in Upland. Read the reviews for some details. Then PM some of the members who wrote those reviews.

    Stripper Anger Management Issues
I saw a dancer throw a temper tantrum in a club once. As she got off stage after a particular poor round of tips, she began venting her frustration, loudly, and while still nude. She wouldn't get dressed back into her costume. The manager asked her to go to the dressing room, get dressed (in her street clothes), and leave the club. She wouldn't. And she wouldn't let other dancers assist her either. The manager called the cops. I stopped counting after 20 cops entered the club. Two of the cops carried her outside, still nude, while she was flailing her arms. I went outside later and saw her being loaded into an ambulance. She was under the influence of something.

Even right here on TUSCL there seems to be more participation, of late, by our women members. Of course, some are propsective dancers asking basic questions about starting in the industry--whom we're not likely to hear from after they make their decision. I've also noticed some new couples members that I hadn't before. It's nice to get the women's point of view on our topics. I hope they will continue to contribute.

If you want to use cameras in the clubs as your guide, beware that Club Sin Rock (somewhat close to where you'll be staying), also has cameras. It might as well be a Deja Vu club. I hope you'll let us know the results of your trip!

@ Dougster: Thank you for correcting me. That would make eight Deja Vu-owned clubs in the region and five that are non-Vu. @ TT: At the Deja Vu--Lake Forest Park, the camera in front of the men's room covers the lobby area. That's one of two cameras that the cover areas where money is handled. The other is at the bar. @ all of the above: All very good comments. I concur. Maybe a good way to plan a trip is choose a location where there are clusters of clubs to see. Then you can easily go to two or three clubs within a short distance: 1. The three Lake City Way/Bothell Way clubs (includes one non-Vu club.) 2. The three downtown clubs (all Vu clubs) 3. The two south sound clubs--Lakewood and Parkland (both Vu clubs). 4. The three northwest Seattle clubs. All are non-Deja Vu, but not generally recommended for one or two nights available for club-going. Before June 2, 2008, things were much different in Seattle strip clubs, and recommendations would have been easy to give.

Canny, I live in Seattle and I'm familiar with all of the clubs in the region. There are 13 within the same "market area." It's about an hour drive from the northernmost to the southernmost of those 13. None are really standout clubs in terms of high mileage or eye candy. Nine of those are Deja Vu clubs or otherwise owned and operated by Deja Vu. Only four are not (Sands, Centerfolds, Dancing Bare, and Club Sin Rock). The Vu-owned clubs are the largest and will have the greatest selection of dancers. Depending on where you will be staying might be the factor in deciding which clubs to go to. The three clubs with the largest numbers of dancers (based on www.dejavu.com) are the Deja Vu clubs in Lakewood and Lake Forest Park, and Dreamgirls in SoDo (south of downtown). If you'd care to PM me, I can probably advise you a little better. One "non-recommendation:" the Deja Vu, Tukwila. It's the closest club to the airport. It's small, in a questionable area, and doesn't do much business.

Heffner says Women Just Use him for Sex
@SC: That's all I know. Maybe Hef trusts his talent scout better than going to a talent agency. Maybe it's cheaper for him. It was in 2004 that I heard that story, so things could have changed since then. Do you think that the regular at Follies you mentioned uses that as a line to get favors or special treatment from the dancers there? It does sound like it could be "customer shit" to me.

Heffner says Women Just Use him for Sex
A dancer once told me a story once Hef that I can believe: A lot of the times when he has big parties with photos taken of him, like in the article provided, he's shown with a bevy of boobulous beauties. Those girls aren't all from his "little black book." Many are paid to be there with him. To supplement the number of girls he knows that will show up for an event like that, he hires additonal girls to fill out the desired number. He has a manager for that who goes into strip clubs, among other places, to recruit girls for an upcoming Playboy mansion party. The dancer who told me that knew that because she was at work one day when his manager came into her club and talked to a few girls there. That story sounds credible to me.
