What does a stripper kissing you mean?
Glad to see someone post the herpes note. Because that's why I wouldn't actually be all that excited if a stripper did that.

My high school's cheer team was also not much to write home about, save for one who had a reputation of being easy and I probably could have taken a swing at but didn't because I had my head stuck squarely up my backside about a girl who wanted nothing to do with me. We actually still talk online, even though she's married and is half a continent away now. She's basically told me she would have. Our dance team, however, was worth the price of admission. I have trouble thinking of any I wouldn't have, but I don't think any of them would have with me. Our college had two identical twin cheerleaders who weren't the smallest girls in the world but had the biggest-proportioned natural knockers you'd ever seen. I called them the 'Foursome'. I actually kind of reconnected with them socially well after school and after both had picked out men. Again, shame I didn't get in with that group IN school. I basically sucked with women in real life. Wonder why I do the strip club thing now?

I think it's a combination of it all. On the club's part, there's so much more that could be done. First off, just a list of the dancers coming in that night on social media is helpful. There's nothing more disappointing than going and finding out your ATF isn't there. Let me know she's not, and I might save my money this time and spend more on her the next time. Hours and information might be helpful, too, as well as thinking about when to schedule parties, features or specials, relative to other events in town. The dancers could do such a better job in a lot of clubs. Want to know why, even with fairly strict restrictions around Chicago, PoleKatz is rated so high? Because if you're good to the dancers, they treat you like you're the most important man in the house. Haven't had anything over-the-top happen there yet, but short of that, the experience is something else. I think do think experienced clubbers are getting smarter about their experiences. They're looking for value for their money. They're price shopping and holding out for better experiences. That's the thing. Make the experience better. Look at any other business. If you want revenue to go up, you have to make the experience better. Is your cable bill higher than it was 20 years ago? Yes. But 20 years ago, you had 50 channels. Ten years ago, you had 100. Now, you have 400. If you want those prices to go up, you have to make the experience better, too.

Could you marry/be in a serious relationship with a stripper?
ilbbaicnl: Your first post in this thread is one of the most thought-out analyses of salespeople and the human psyche about sex and love I've seen succinctly written. Glad someone sees it like I do. Good stuff, and my compliments. (For the record, non-stripper salespeople are the bane of my existence -- I hate manipulators. You let me do my thing and I'll let you do yours.) I could see myself doing it, but it would have to be a stripper who danced necause they at least kind of liked it, if only with "good" customers like me. One who thought it out and is OK with being openly sexual in the right contexts because it brings happiness to others, not someone who stripped just for the money. They'd also have to be really, really smart and as good for the conversation as for anything else. Generally speaking, the very few I've met like that don't come off as manipulative -- they know I can't simply be sold, and are smart enough to hold in some meaty conversations without sales pitches before great dances. Those girls, though, are very few, very far between, and can usually land guys a lot more successful in life and handsomer than me. So, it'll probably never happen. No kids, though. I just really hate kids, even when I was one myself.

Based on all but number three, the original poster would HATE Wisconsin. LOL. Pretty comprehensive list accumulated here. I'll add air dances, the bathroom attendant (I can grab my own paper towel) and when all but the worst tables in a mostly-empty club are "reserved" and only a $20 bribe, er, "Unreserve Fee" gets you one.

Count me squarely in the cheerleader camp, though I've never seen a girl dressed as one in a club. If one did, and she didn't have hooves, she'd get all my money. Praying for the Halloween when there's a girl in the club wearing a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' costume. I like the schoolgirl thing, too, as well as the teacher/naughty librarian. Naughty nurse ain't bad, either, as is Daisy Duke county girl. I'd take a lapper from a girl in a Hooters waitress outfit, too. Basically, I love Halloween, at least the women in sexy costumes part. Beyond that, though, a nice gown beats something trashy any day.

I will go slightly old school, as I skew 90's and MILFy. 10. Tabitha Stevens 9. Tera Patrick 8. Ava Devine 7. Briana Banks 6. Kira Kener 5. Gianna Michaels 4. Lisa Ann 3. Jenna Jameson (but only before she ruined herself, i.e. pre-"Zombie Strippers") 2. Shyla Stylez 1. Veronica Avluv - Three Asian-Americans (9, 8, 6) - Two I've seen on stage dancing live (9, 4) - Four with a reputation as being available for escort purposes (8, 7, 2, 1) - Three blondes (7, 3, 2), the rest brunettes - All pretty big up top Honorable Mention as not-quite-pornstars: Softcore queens Kristie Ducati, Lisa Boyle & pre-implant Shauna O'Brien (only smallish choice here ... God, she ruined a beautiful, uniquely shaped natural pair), Euro stars Kelly Trump & Milly D'Abbraccio, Spanish TV stripper Susana Reche Yes, I do have a problem.

Things you thought about saying to strippers but decided not to:
I really hope that/those tattoo/s can wash off at the end of the night. Otherwise, I hope you got a refund. Looking like you do, did you really think you would make money in this line of work? How do you hide those big, giant things on your chest when you're not in a club? What do people say when you go to the grocery store? I have no problem with you lying to me. I have a problem with how bad you are at it. What's it going to take for YOU to consider OTC?

I like the Haig reference. But when I leave the club without getting a dance, I usually grumble a bit about wasting time but know I still have the cash. When a girl leaves without doing dances, there might be mouths that don't get fed (or drug habits) or rent that doesn't get paid or whatever. They need me more than I need them.

@ilbbaicnl True, but the dancers are there to make money, and you're in control of the money. Yes, I suppose if you're totally repulsive, smell bad or are really creepy, the dancer might not think your money is worth it, but I don't have that problem. They want what you have and there's a lot of them there. You are in position to hold out for what you want. You're in control.

Never. You have the money, ergo you are in control. I know some guys talk about places where dancers are very possessive and don't allow others to touch "their" customers, so in that scenario, I could see that. But, if anything, that means two things: 1. You've given that dancer reason to believe they should feel like only they get you. Get a dance with someone else. If you approach another dancer, I don't think they're going to get up and run away. 2. You're at places too small for their own good. Get to someplace bigger where the girls can't keep track of who's "got" who. I've never had the problem where I've felt obliged to a dancer for anything. I get to make the choice whether or not I want to spend my money on you. Not you.

Could, or Should, Strip Clubs Do More to Cater to Older Customers?
    A. I don't mind loud music. To me, it heightens the senses and adds to the intensity, and sense-heightening is really what the experience is supposed to be about. B. I can see the thought behind playing music that caters to the age of the spending customers rather than the dancers or younger clientele, but I think it ultimately comes down to what the dancers are comfortable with. Considering how much crap they have to put up with, and considering there's usually an obligation for the dancer to tip the DJ, I would think that a dancer will be most comfortable on stage dancing to music she likes. And, as far as I'm concerned, the happier she is, the happier I will end up being. So I'm OK with the current stuff. Heck, aside from the obvious reason, perhaps my second-favorite reason for going to clubs is to hear new & interesting music because the girls will often pick stuff that isn't on the radio.

If you go once a month at $10 admission, and the card is $100, you save. But I like variety too much, so I don't go to the same place that often. Plus, too much risk of the card ending up in the wrong hands (falls out of the wallet while out with the girlfriend, nosy parents rifle through wallet, etc.). Not worth it.

    Holding off on Ejaculation
There is a certain amount of satisfaction in holding out for a while when you're younger, every girl you see does something for you and your you-know-what is tremendously sensitive. It's like a game you play with yourself. Delayed gratification. But as I've gotten a little older, put on a few more pounds and found that the mere sight of a nice-looking lady doesn't instantly bring me, um, to attention like it used to, I generally don't think about how long I do/don't go. Seems like busy weeks at work or complicated schedules give me all the time off I need sometimes, then, when the mood strikes, you feel like you have to strike while the iron is hot.

Have you ever tried to make a stripper "jealous"?
I'm with poetry much everyone that says to let your money do the talking. There was a girl at one place I went regularly. Great fake bolt-ons. Nice fake accent. Liked her. She knew she could count on me for dances. But one night, I got the sense she was phoning it in with me. Next time I went there, had the usual conversation with her, but when she asked for dances, I just said "No thanks, not tonight," then went back with the next girl that came along. Message sent. She tried harder the next time.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
What are the selection criteria for the hall? Because I think we're to a point now where there aren't necessarily going to be five worthy bands to put in every year. I really don't think every year produces five HOF-worthy bands. In a very, very broad spectrum of "rock," i.e. all artists who came after Bill Haley who didn't just play the same music that came before him (so I'm including hip hop and all its derivatives), Hall-worthy bands should probably be limited to those who either changed the game, like Nirvana, or showed an exceptional level of prowess, like Van Halen for Eddie's technique or Rush for Neal Pert's drumming. As such, obviously, even though I hate grunge, I think Nirvana belongs because of how it changed the game. Hall & Oates? Soft rock was around before and while some of their grooves endured, I can't really apply either of my criteria to them. Peter Gabriel? Makes it for the video for "Sledgehammer" alone as that was a game-changer. Same reason Robert Palmer belongs. Both are Hall & Oates contemporaries and I'd make the case for either of them before Hall & Oates.

    Success on Getting Extras
Apologies -- we simply have different definitions of Midwest. For me, the Midwest implies more of the traditional "Big Ten," Great Lakes states, since that's where I am (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, etc.). St. Louis and Kansas City (in what is now officially an SEC state for football, Missouri) feel like a different region relative to the Midwest I think of. But I guess they're Midwest, too, and I won't argue your point on their rep.

Motorhead, as always, is right. The Midwest in general, save that one bankrupt city, kind of puts you in a different spot. Most of the clubs are fairly liberal in terms of contact, but for whatever reason, aren't that liberal in terms of extras. You can get a good grind at a lot of Midwestern city clubs, and maybe even put your hands on some nicely shaped body parts, but expect anything to happen with your most interesting body part and it won't.
