The SOTU address was the second lowest rated over the last 30 years and was a 28% drop from last year. They seem to be following the trend of declining Oscar and Grammy viewership and newspaper readership. People are starting to look for alternatives to the political and cultural mainstream.

A strip club should make money by giving customers what they want and not by forcing them to pay for things they don't want. The three primary services on offer are looking at the girls on stage, having them sit at your table and socialize with you, and going in the back for lap dances and any extras on offer. Customers should go up and tip the girls on the stage they like looking at but there is a free rider problem in strip clubs where many customers just sit there. I don't like tip parades but to a certain extent understand why they exist. I've had strippers tell me they don't particularly like the tip parade either because they have to approach reluctant to tip or even slightly hostile customers. Rather than pass out a bunch of one-dollar bills, I think I would prefer a higher entrance fee with the money from me and the other customers divided up among the girls. You couldn't have that higher entrance fee, though, unless most of your strippers are attractive. Customers would balk at paying a high entrance fee to go in and look at unattractive girls and then would just not show up. Another alternative would be for girls to make their money off lap dance sales. The stage performance is just a customer audition so the customers can look at the girls and pick out the one they want for socializing and lap dances. Most of my local strip clubs don't have tip parades and seem to follow that model.

I saw that there were a record number of car repossessions last month. If people can't afford to make their car payments, then they probably can't afford a lot of other things. There is also a record number of people holding two jobs. They can't live on the income from one job. Also, credit card debt reached a record level in the last quarter of 2022. With all this going on, I would bet on businesses providing for necessities doing the best in the near future.

One nice thing about being in my sixties and voluntarily taking myself out of the dating game is that I no longer have to read any articles or watch any videos on what women want. What might be applicable to romantic relationships is much less applicable to strip club relationships. I've probably had over a dozen regulars that lasted more than a year and one that even lasted six years. They basically want someone who will spend money and not cause them a lot of problems in the strip club. It's pretty simple and doesn't require Jordan Peterson to explain it. Here in Indiana the white girls club is Brad's Brass Flamingo. I've had some favorite black regulars unable to get on there and have been told by them they think there is a quota system in place. Runner up is the Hip Hugger in Kokomo. They also have no hip hop music in the club. James Brown, Otis Redding and Stevie Wonder got played last time I was there. There are a lot more black girls wanting to be strippers in Indianapolis than there is demand for them in the strip clubs. I just now am starting see a big influx of Cubans. There are pretty but are at a disadvantage because they can't speak English. People this far north are usually not bilingual.

If tax increases are used instead of money printing, this will act as a disincentive for people to work hard. That will then reduce GDP, lead to a lower standard of living for Americans and help push the country into a recession. To reduce inflation, government spending cuts are needed so money printing is not needed. To keep the economy healthy, taxes need to be reduced rather than increased in order to encourage hard work and business investment. The Inflation Reduction Act avoids making the hard choices needed when it comes to spending cuts and kicks the can down the road. Politicians always think only about winning the next election and do what is best in the short term even if it makes things a lot worse in the long term.

I understand that if you want sex then seeing them outside the club is the best option. It is harder, though, to keep that wall of separation between your personal life and hers. Strip clubs maintain that wall better. Even there you can run into problems. One time a stripper boyfriend told me to stop staring at his girlfriend while I was in the strip club as a customer, and she was there as a stripper. She immediately yelled at him to stop it. Opponents of big government label what we have now as socialism. The current system, though, is a merging of big business and big government and can be better described as a semi-fascist system. There has been increasing income inequality in recent years as the current system hasn't been designed to benefit the average person. This system has been in place since the fifties when it was said that what is good for the country is good for General Motors and vice versa. Now it's what is good for Pfizer or Moderna is good for the country, what is good for Lockheed or Raytheon is good for the country and so on. Both mainstream Democrats and Republicans are part of this corrupt system and there must be a realization of this among the general public for things to change.

People usually either fall into the categories of those who like new experiences versus those who like the familiar. I prefer the familiar. Whatever desire for variety I have is satisfied by rotating around several strip clubs in Indianapolis plus an occasional trip elsewhere in Indiana. I did go to Las Vegas once to visit the strip clubs there and enjoyed it but don't feel a need to go back. I once did online dating at Match.com for a year. I noticed women there were predominantly of the type that were always on the move. They were always changing jobs, where they live, and who they were in a relationship with. Many strippers are like that too. They are always hopping from one strip club to another, changing boyfriends or changing where they live. Many women seem dissatisfied with their lives these days, possibly because they have unrealistic expectations. This dissatisfaction leads to making constant changes in their lives.

I actually dislike fancy pole tricks. I sit there worried that the girl might fall and hurt herself. For that reason, I don't encourage that by giving dancers big tips for doing anything that looks even slightly dangerous. I've asked dancers why they do this, and they claim they make more in tips when they do. This is a case where I'm falsely assuming other customers are just like me. If you see a certain common behavior among dancers in a strip club, it is most likely because that behavior is being rewarded. I've noticed numerous situations where I've seen slow personality changes in long time regulars. They become more like the female fantasy of the typical strip club customer because the customers reinforce certain stripper behaviors by having a positive response to them.

There have been a number of times when I've been in a strip club where I've done no stage tipping. I'll sit through a stage rotation and maybe a bit longer to see if any late stragglers are coming into the club I might like and if I don't see anyone then I leave. This isn't because I'm a cheapskate. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars in strip clubs. I just save my money for stage tipping girls I want to do lap dances with and for the actual lap dances themselves. If a strip club is charging me to get in and they only have unattractive strippers in the club, I don't think I have an obligation to tip those girls. They have an obligation to give me value for my money and they are not meeting their obligation. As for tipping strip club waitresses, that pretty much is considered standard if you bought a drink, so I do that. Sometimes staying on the good side of waitresses is helpful. On a recent visit I asked the waitress what time the night crew shows up. I've had several times where I asked a waitress about a regular that I couldn't find, and she told me that particular dancer was no longer working in the club.

It's interesting to hear from Muddy that reddit tilts to the left. I've never been there but if it is what has replaced stripperweb maybe I should visit sometime. My stripper regulars have mostly been liberal. This is especially true on social issues. Socially conservative women don't often become strippers. Strippers, while liberal, usually aren't radical feminist types. Many radical feminists dislike men and wouldn't work a job like being a stripper because it involves making men happy.

My sister was head of a school library. She was liberal but became annoyed by liberal intolerance in her school. She was told she couldn't put up a Christmas tree in her library anymore because it was a religious symbol. She would read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to the kids but was told she couldn't do that either. Calls were made to ban older books that had racial stereotypes. There was also intolerance coming from the conservative side with some conservative parents wanting books banned that mentioned sex or the theory of evolution. In order for people to get along, you need people to have some tolerance for opposing viewpoints and that type of tolerance seems to be declining.

I would read the discussions there. A lot of the advice the dancers were giving each other there seemed like bad advice. It reminded me of the advice being given out on male pickup artist blogs. It involved various forms of psychological manipulation of males. What I have always seen in strip clubs is that male customers just gravitate to the prettiest strippers and all those girls need to do is be friendly to make money.

The best strip club period for me was about five years ago. There was a club called Harem House. It was by no means great but one of the dancers told me one time it was like Cheers where everyone knows your name and that was pretty much true. Unlike some clubs with girls always coming and leaving, it had a pretty stable group of dancers who stayed around for a while. I knew half a dozen girls there by name and they all knew me. The owner of the club had passed away and his widow had someone running the club who didn't know what he was doing. The dancers I knew there left one by one for other strip clubs. One day I went into one of those other strip clubs, Brad's Brass Flamingo. I saw a former Harem House dancer and took her to the back for some lap dances. When we got to the back three other former Harem House dancers were in the back doing lap dances. I said, "I wondered where you all went" and they all laughed.

I once had a drunk dancer walk off after our two lap dances without collecting her money. I had to chase after her to give it to her. Right after that she passed out and they had to carry her out to her car and drive her home. The next time I went to that strip club she told me when she came to, she had forty dollars where she didn't remember where it was from and decided it must have come from me. She said a lot of guys wouldn't have been that honest.

My parents started making a lot of money when I was twelve and we moved to an upper middle-class neighborhood. A lot of the teens there were pretty spoiled. The parents were working all the time and not around a lot. The combination of unsupervised teens with extra spending money due to having rich parents led to much drug use. I never really fit in because I spent the first dozen years of my life being poorer and was less spoiled than them.

I won't do lap dances with a girl again if I think she miscounts the lap dances on purpose. I also won't do them again with a girl if she refuses to do something that is generally allowed in local clubs like breast touching, has bad hygiene, is rude or condescending, wants to start in the middle of a song instead of waiting until the beginning of a song, or spends most of the lap dance trying to upsell to a private room. When they do this, they think it is unimportant to give me a good experience. If they think I'm too unimportant to treat well, then I think they are too unimportant to go visit and spend money on.

There is almost always a nearby restaurant that has better food than what you can get in a strip club. I almost always combine a strip club visit and a restaurant visit together on one trip. I also enjoy the quiet late night drive home except for one time when my car almost hit a homeless drug addict who had wandered out into the street, and she then started yelling curses at me.

And the military, all the Army and defense government officials eventually go work for the defense companies afterwards. It’s pretty good for the industry, to be honest. It’s bad for everyone else in America.” This helps to explain what happened with Covid but also what is now happening with the Ukraine. The defense companies make bigger profits if the U.S. government is buying weapons from them and then shipping them over to the Ukraine. The government officials who implement this will then later be rewarded with jobs in these defense industries.

I've been going to Indianapolis and central Indiana strip clubs almost every week for 12 years so if you have any specific questions let me know. Generally speaking, Indiana is in the Bible Belt and is a conservative state so you will not find a lot of extras here in Indianapolis. Breast and butt touching are common but not more than that. In the case of Brad's, that is considered the best club in the city. The girls don't want to risk getting fired from it, so they are careful what they do. I have heard of situations where dancers there are attracting a lot of high spending customers and the club kind of looks the other way on what they are doing. You also might get lucky and get a new dancer doing extras who hasn't been caught and fired yet. Among the clubs right below that in quality, Club Rio is the one that has the reputation of being the extras club. You might try there. I prefer the nearby Pony because I think the girls are prettier and I don't care about mileage. The dancers here don't show up until late at night so don't go early. South near the airport is Dancers. Some locals think this is the best strip club in Indianapolis. Downtown is Red Garter. They have attractive girls but probably have the strictest rules in town. If you are staying downtown and don't want to make a trip, though, it's not a bad club. The lower tier clubs are probably not worth going to for a visitor. I visit the three Pendleton Pike clubs: PT's, Jaguars and Jiggles. They are all close to where I live. In the past, they were good but the surrounding area is in decline and so are the clubs. The best girls don't work in them anymore and I have trouble finding regulars I like in them. There's a Ukrainian stripper and a Russian stripper at PT's. Don't invite both of them to your table.

People spend so much time fighting with each other. As I've gotten older, I've kind of mellowed out a little bit. I've come to realize I'm not going to be on this planet forever and I don't want to spend my time here getting in fights. I'm headed to my favorite barbecue place and then over to a strip club to see a cute little Puerto Rican regular. She says she has a feeling of relief when I walk in the door because I never cause her any trouble. She never causes me any trouble either.
