Are you on Reddit ?

Anywhere there are Titties.
So I pull up Reddit.com . Look for the Sugaring Lifestyle Forum. They call it the SLF. I look thru the list of topics and there are many things I am interested in. So I go to sign up. Well, they list a whole bunch of things you CAN"T discuss on that board. And most of the things I can't are the items I would like to know. How much is paid is specifically mentioned a few times.
Makes you appreciate an Unmoderated board like TUSCL. Here I can say. "Fuck off and die". And nothing happens to me. I think I posted that same thing there, it would be the last thing I posted.
Are you on Reddit ? Do you find it restrictive ?

I've always been vocal about a lightly-moderated forum, over one where just one or two trolls whose main goal is to disrupt discussions, can do so in every thread (it's even more obvious once you ignore them, and watch literally every thread degrade into name calling, every thread where members are sharing and celebrating some aspect of SCing turns into insults, etc). It's a shame the one place that could become THE SC forum, has an owner who prefers this, but I recognize that may be a minority view.
Stripclubs is lightly modded (I comod so I know :) and SLF is heavily modded, but I also recognize that a huge community like SLF with 160,000 members that has a whole different set of challenges. Stripclubs has 10,000 members (lifetime) so much smaller community
Yeah it's pretty restrictive, most moderators suck, they are petty and vindictive. (Although I would trust the shit out of PaulDrake and Subraman I'm sure they are fair not talking about them) Most are woke as fuck and just downright soft. I've been banned A LOT. I just can't help myself sometimes. They can't end your account per se, but they can silence you forever on that particular sub reddit. So you sort of self censor in a way I don't have to here, it definitely changes how you talk or maybe type. Here I talk like I do in real life, on reddit I have to stop and think before every sentence "would this get me be banned again?"
Longer answer, Paul invited me over there when he started it, I might have spent a minute or 2 a couple times having a look but I don't have the time.
Plus I don't like the format/layout of various reddit forums I peeked at.
Getting back to the time factor, there's a few spots online where I allocate my time, a few minutes here, a few minutes there, etc.
Too many other things going on to sit staring at a screen.
Not really. Sometimes I run into articles on there in my web searches. I don't really set out to read there.
"Do you find it restrictive ?"
Maybe I would if I posted regularly. I've posted a few things in the stripclub forum in response to noobs, but most topics there aren't really ones I think about much. That's not a knock, because most threads on TUSCL aren't things that grab my attention enough to respond to. Every once in a while I look to see what's over there.
I have skimmed through reddit many times looking for decent discussions on sugaring and clubs. Each time I generally only find pure bullshit advice provided by so-called experienced SB's and strippers who claim they make thousands per week from guys that are really just pathetic simps. There may be some rich simps out there who willingly drop 4-digit amounts on a women in hopes they MAY get to smell their dirty socks. But that is FinDom, not sugaring or stripping. The truth about sugar relationships and lap dances/VIP's is very different than FinDom.
So no, I don't use reddit for any intel about Strip clubs or sugaring. Total waste of time.
If you have an interest like:
You love chicken nuggets
You hate cilantro
(These are actually subs over there)
There are a lot of places you can learn more about stuff you like - but some subs are so clogged down and heavily moderated it becomes a waste. I guess what do you do when there’s 100,000 people in one sub.
I don’t have enough experience to comment in the sugar forums, so I haven’t joined any of them.
The moderation can be heavy handed depending on the forum.
Then each time I post something, I am immediately greeted by an email that says because I am new, my postings are being delayed until a moderator can review my posts to make sure they adhere to the rules. They assure me that this delay is only temporary . Oh, wow. Thanks.
But then, last night, I got a message from a sugar baby a 1000 miles away from me that wanted to know if I would fly her to me . I"m thinking it's 50/50 that is a scam, so I just ignored that message.
The participants are very raw and new. I'm already thinking that I may be the one giving instead of getting advice on the forum. The Daddy's on there are a bunch of simps. I'm thinking I may get banned at some point for telling all the Daddy's to grow a pair.
I'll have to check out the strip club sub at some point.
If you think that's 50/50, you may want to re-think whether you should be giving advice 🤣🤣 Just fucking with you, but since you're new to reddit, I'll tell you what everyone else who has been there knows: Very close to 100% of the unsolicited DMs you get from "sugarbabies" are scammers. The ones 1000 miles away, the ones "in your town", and everyone in between -- every single unsolicited DM is a scammer, girl trying to sell you nudie pics or get you to sign up for her only fans, etc.
On r/stripclubs we don't have the newbie post require mod approval thing, but that's because we're a smaller community. slf may have its faults, but in their defense, new accounts are the cause of 90% (or probably more) of the trolling and personal ads. I mod a different, large, non-sexwork sub, and even there we find new-to-the-sub handles are responsible for nearly all the problems on the sub. It seems like a very small ask that new users get their posts approved for a day or two (it usually lasts no longer than that, as it's just based on karma) to get rid of most of garbage, it's understandable to me. With slf getting inundated with angry sexworkers and johns constantly, I definitely understand it. I kind of hope Stripclubs grows big enough some day that we need a policy like this 🤣 BTW I do think the way most tusclers use SA, it is more sexwork oriented, and probably not a great fit for slf
Strip club, SA, etc., is very local, and Reddit isn't always great at local information (not just for adult stuff).
I don’t remember much about r/sugarlifestyle. I’ve peeked over a few times, but my eyes glaze over and I don’t remember anything. It’s considered an awful place by strippers. There were a some grouches getting mad that one of the stripper subs have male moderators who are active over on there. But alas, stripper groups don’t have much of an ability to look over at something and just simply say “that is a poor use of one’s time and opportunity costs” that could be a useful guide for things. (And avoiding bad deals)
Though I will say that I think a lot of city subreddits are pretty good about local information. (Though a lot of them will definitely be filled with lots of left wing rhetoric). I’ll give a big shout out to r/Denver and r/denverfoods, which have both served me well. And also the guy who posted multiple times on r/Jacksonville his love of the burger at Wacko’s. (Which turned out to be pretty good). And also r/denvercirclejerk for the laughs.
Actually I should use the same 'out of sight out of mind' mantra that I follow regarding the bay area creep.
A little hobby of mine is trying to connect reddit usernames to TUSCL user names. I'm pretty sure it's easy to find my handle, at least it was for SLD lol.
You won't find him, I'd bet. There is no one on slf that remotely acts the way Random did here. He always struck me as the type to try to flex his noodle arms where he knew no mod could touch him, but he's towing the line like a good boy on slf. If he's there, his attitude and behavior are totally different than here.
Hint: It's wallanon. Surprise!
I use reddit to read and interact on a number of hobbies and interests I have. I found fantastic communities on a number of obscure hobbies, that have really progressed my knowledge and enjoyment forward.
Beyond hobbies, there's some general interest subs I find entertaining. r/InterestingAsFuck, r/askscience, r/happycrowds, r/CrazyFuckingVideos (I can go on and on with these)
Some of the NSFW and porn subs are pretty great also, and some hit interesting niches. I've been known to occasionally peruse the likes of r/OnOff, r/girlsinyogapants, r/NSFWbarista, r/TooCuteForPorn, r/FestivalSluts , for example. And of course r/Stripclubs and r/Strippers 🤣
I guess I don't really care, but I am curious though. I got into a sports Sub and got into an argument pretty quickly. Hah !
I initially joined TUSCL b/c I had an upcoming trip to Houston and back-then I wasn’t as hardcore-an-SCer as I eventually became and thus didn’t know anything about the Houston scene – prior to joining TUSCL I had come across TUSCL a few times on the web but didn’t really have much interest in it; and after I joined TUSCL I wasn’t planning on becoming a “TUSCLer” after I had gotten the Houston-info I needed – but after seeing what TUSCL was about it piqued-my-PL-interest and also def opened-my-PL-eyes to all the possibilities that lied in the strip-club-world.
Being that I’ve never really been a big-web-surfer I never got into the Reddit thing (and I don’t think it comes-up on Google-searches (?) and why I probably never ventured over-there). I *have* gotten an invite from Paul-Drake and Subra inviting me to post on r/stripclubs but me not being a huge-web-surfer by-default, and having gotten used-to TUSCL and not wanting to give-up TUSCL, I felt I didn’t have the bandwidth to post on both given how much I used to post on TUSCL – I’m also not the hardcore SCer I used to be which is also another reason I didn’t feel-inclined to post on Reddit as well as TUSCL.
