"I AM the Law!" was supposed to be Judge Dredd's line, but these days it seems a lot of cops think that they're the law, and can do what they damn well please. I got no problem with cops going after criminals (and definitely no problem with them nailing drunk drivers, having been re-ended by a drunk college kid once), but some of the crap they pull is not to be believed. sad thing is, they end up in front of a jury, more often than not, the jury's going to have to have a ton of evidence before they don't side with the cop. needs to fucking stop.

my favorite place has cameras, but they're all in the public areas, around the bar, in the stage room, but none in the VIP rooms. then again, they have a guy who marks the dancers in, and each room has a peephole like a front door in it so he can check up on you and make sure there's no "extras" going on so the cops can't land on the club with a charge of fostering prostitution. the dancers are free to bend the personal contact rules to a limited extent, but BJ's and anything like are off the table.

at my favorite club, to get to the VIP rooms, you walk past a guy with a sheet of paper on a clipboard. the dancer will put you in the room, then go pick up her towel (for your lap) and mark the sheet to show she's going to start. if she gets in there during a song, she'll usually talk to you until the next break, then get going. the guy with the clipboard keeps track of the number of songs and she gets charged a fixed amount for each song (but gets a 'discount" if she can get more than two out of you). if the dancer you were dealing with was a first timer, she might not have been clear enough on the rules to know that she'd get nailed for the second song. a mistake on her part, but a situation where I can understand her asking you for a few more dollars. maybe mark it off to a cheap lesson in the economics of the average SC?

what worries me? that the woman offering the services is 52!

I've scoped out and used eros. they're 100% legit, but as others here say, don't rush into an ad that's just up. would disagree with the notion that they're just for the high-end providers, as at least in the Chicago area they usually list lots of asian providers at reasonable prices. where you're at might be different, but they're at least a good, relaible place to start.

then again, if you're staying alone, there's always backpage and eros to check out for some regular, old-fashioned "take-out" action, delivered right to your door, with no hassle about getting anywhere.

I'll be honest: I've used Craigslist and a few of the other sites too (Eros,backpages, etc.). I've never found it any more likely that a posting on Craigslist was a fake than any similar place. I too think the whole crusade against them is motivated more by headlines (both for the 'new-sellers' and the politicians who pander to the moral crusaders) than anything else. be nice if they took a few of those loud-mouths to court and won a clear ruling in their favor. don't expect it to happen, but it'd be nice.

a guy I used to work with is now the "bouncer" at the strip club I hang out at. he gets dick for pay, and I doubt he gets his dick anywhere near the ladies working there. they all think of him as a joke.

like some others have said, the club I frequent has a DJ who always asks the customers to "give it up" for whatever dancer is on stage. sometimes they do, usually they don't.

I haven't spent $300 in a single night a club, but I have to admit that's a pretty slim budget to do anything extra on, with gas, food and (I hope) a room or rooms to get some sleep in. might be a good thing to just give the strip clubs a pass.

not surprising. give some people some power and don't give them oversight of any kind and they'll do whatever the hell they feel like.
