It could be a strip clubbing road trip

Seattle
I'm flying out of Seattle this Monday morning to go to Chicago. Myself and another guy are sharing the driving of a rental truck from Chicago to Vancouver, Canada. Our route will be Interstate 90 right on in to Washington state and then North up into Canada. Judging from reviews, it doesn't look like like there is much in the way of mileage, in the clubs that is, in the major cities on that route. Plus, I'm on a limited budget (probably $300 at the most) and I don't know if the dude that I'm driving with likes the strip clubbing scene.

$300 for the entire trip? I've spent that in one night in a club. Admittedly on more than lap dances and drinks, but still, that seems like a paltry strip club budget for a cross country jaunt.

I haven't spent $300 in a single night a club, but I have to admit that's a pretty slim budget to do anything extra on, with gas, food and (I hope) a room or rooms to get some sleep in. might be a good thing to just give the strip clubs a pass.

You need to talk to Payer11, the master of the $60 whore.

I didn't make it clear that the 300 would be just for the club. All of the gas, food and motels are being paid for by the couple that hired us to do the move.

Do you have an itinerary of cities you're traveling through yet? You can still probably have a good time with that budget, but think about how many clubs you intend to go to. If you only go to 10 clubs on your trip, that's a drink and *maybe* a dance in each one.

You've probably done a reasonable thing by soliciting advice. Wish I had some to offer, but I've never been in that area of the country.

I'll do a mapquest and see what's on I-90.

It's not happenin'. Madison, Wisconsen, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and a few air dance places in Montana. I think I'll just hang on to my $300.

"not much in the way of mileage...... in the major cities on that route".

yank, you just gave me the biggest laugh of the day. The route you are driving must have the sparsest collection of major cities (and stripclubs) of just about any 1500- 2000 mile CONUS segment that you could pick to drive.Rather than do mapquest, why not click the profiles of prominent db contributors, and see how many clubs in MN(outside of MSP area), SD, WY, MT, and WA (outside SEA-TAC area) were reviewed by them? Offhand, the only places I could think of that might be worthwhile are maybe a few WI clubs (Lake Geneva anywhere near your route???) or Deja Vu Spokane that I last visited over 10 yrs ago. If you do find a hidden gem, please submit a review.

You will probably get better mileage picking up drunks on an indian reservation casino than at a strip club lol.

Good luck to you though. Hope you have a good time.

Stop at the major truck stops at night and you can avail yourself of the "Lot Lizards" and get several adventures for your $300.

Payer11 is your best resource here. Due to bad genes, Payer11 was born with a low IQ which prevented him from getting a decent education. Payer11 was then forced to work low paying jobs and, hence, had little money to spend on the strip clubs he visited. Payer11 then had to master the art of finding and paying $60 whores - the only ones he can afford.

Yank, I've taken the MN-ND-Montana route before -- about this time of year -- and you're more likely to encounter forest fires clogging up the valleys along the way than anything else. Also, some 'deer whistles' might not be a bad idea to deter suicidal bambies from your path. Hardware stores in the Pacific northwest carry them.

giveitayank, take a short detour, south and east to Hammond, Indiana and go to the Industrial Strip. It's a club that will be light years better than anything in Chicago. Read the reviews of the place, including mine, and you'll get an idea of what to expect.

I hate to echo others but save your money. In my 20 years with Western Air Lines I flew into most of the larger towns along your route. My best experience was in Billings MT. I had fun at a local bar but you gotta speak cowboy. Your destination, Vancouver really sucks. My buddy trojangregg lives there. He has nothing good to say about it. I flew up there from L.A. once for the weekend. I was so bored, I jumped on a plane Sat Morning and flew to San Fran and North Beach. And you know that Seattle now sucks. I went to school at Boeing Field for 14 days back in the early 70's. It was swinging then.
