agree with the troop. besides, as a cop, he can't exactly claim he didn't know it was against the law, can he?

Bada Bing employees filed lawsuit for violation of First Amendment rights.
"The purpose of the ordinance, according to the city, is to establish reasonable and uniform regulations to minimize and control the negative secondary effects of adult cabarets in order to promote the health, safety and public welfare of the city." another bunch of blue-nosed yahoos trying to save all us unwashed heathens from ourselves. geez, can't these dopes just shove a sock in it?

Injured Stripper Brought to Middletown Hospital
for myself, how many children she had is less important to the story than the fact that someone beat her half to death and left her, probably hoping she would die. send the fuck who did it to jail and brick up his cell with him in it.

    Breathe, breathe in the air
    Fast Forward ten years?
a good question and a better debate. I myself fear that the pressure of the narrow-minded will be brought fully to bear where it can have the most affect: local town and county government. control of these bodies will give those who want to 'save us from ourselves' the power to decide which businesses survive and which don't. my bet is that, given the chance, they will make sure all of the things we think of as fun; like strip clubs, adult book stores, etc., will be either forced out of business or will struggling to stay afloat in a hostile environment. I honestly hope to be proven dead wrong in this, BTW.

Strip Club Owner Accused Of Sexual Assault
georgmicrodong, no, I don't really think that you can trust anyone, but the alternative is he has this hanging fire for god-knows-how-long. how will that help his relations with his the women who work for him or might be considering it? not a lot, I'd guess, so why not see if he can just get it out of the way if he really is innocent?

Strip Club Owner Accused Of Sexual Assault
oddly enough, if the charges are baseless as claimed, it seems to me that the quickest way for him to clear this up is to walk into the police station and have his lawyer watching while the cops take the DNA sample. no assault, no evidence, no charges to file, no?

VA passes law allowing concealed weapons in bars and clubs.
damn, I have to agree with the statement that this is only good for folks looking to work as bouncers! does anyone, anywhere really think guns and booze mix any better than booze and cars? even if you're not drinking (and I have to agree, how is that going to be checked or enforced), what happens if a bar fight breaks out and one of the people caught up in it is the person with a gun? why do I see "Gunfight at the OK Corral" being remade?

Best places for prostitution (off topic)
from what I've read, I'd say Bangkok and Manila (Angel City) would be a couple of cities to visit if you're looking for some action.

Aboriginals' fury as French exotic dancer strips on Uluru
georgmicrodong, yeah, it'd be nice if they could, but like a lot of Indian reservations here in the US, the aborigines have only limited control over what they can do on what is supposedly their own land. guess who makes most of the money off of tourists wanting to travel to Ayers Rock? (hint, it ain't the aborigines!) snake, I worry about someone with your lack of knowledge being at the controls of a nuclear reactor. Australia was occupied in a major way by whites in the 1700's. when they first came into contact with whites, the aborigines were a stone-age people, so the technology they had was the best they knew. they didn't have a chance to catch up before they were overwhelmed by superior technology. game over.

    SuperDude

    Who's our worst enemy?
I fear the Religious Right as a force against SC's more than I fear feminists/liberals/etc. liberals may argue that a SC is "bad", but you rarely see them go before local town councils or county boards to argue that they should be banned. that ain't nowhere near true regarding the Moral Majority types! as far as music, the club I tend to hang out in lets the dancers pick their own music, and most of them choose the type of music most railed against here, so I don't know how the music can all be laid on the club owners/DJ's. I'd say the best route is to wand down people as they enter and make it a "one strike and you're O-U-T!!!" rule that anyone caught trying to bring a gun or other weapon into a club can never come back. and, no, I don't think it's a good idea to let booze and guns mix. having seen one too many arguments between drunks move from loud words to throw punches, I don't want to think what would have happened in any of those cases if one or both of the parties involved had been carrying, especially to me and everyone else around them.

Internet pornography may get its own red light district as .xxx name approved
yes, dudester, but if you are a Libertarian, do you want to make it easier for some future government, probably under the thumb of the Religious Right, to be able to snuff out any form of speech? that seems to run counter to what you folks are always saying you're about, so how do you square the two positions?

    odd thing to day, no?
hell, I'd be happy to have the spare time/money to visit *either* place! as it stands, I limit myself to about one visit/month to my SC, so taking a trip to either Detroit or Tampa is pretty much on a par with taking a month or two's vacation to, say, Thailand so I can enjoy the local "culture". ah, well, it's nice to know some guys are getting to have more fun.

CTQWERTY, yeah, it's the place you're thinking of. I doubt I'd get even half as much mileage from a dancer in one of the Rockford clubs. potheadpl, you sound like you've got a pretty good place or places to go. around here, in the middle of nowhere, the number of clubs can be counted literally on one hand, and most of them have strict "No Touching" policies. so I go where I can get the best of what's available. et al, I can't guess what was going on. by the time this particular dance took place, the club was starting to get more customers, as there were at least six or so other guys standing around the bar at that point. the woman I took back had been setting with another dancer and both of them were chatting up a guy, so I can't see the owner telling the dancer in question to keep me happy because I was the only potential source of income present. as for how she acted, she seemed to be fine with what happened, and the way she told me this was almost like she said it without thinking, like she hadn't planned on saying it. so I guess a solution will have to wait until I make my next visit and get another dance off of her. if she has no problem with more of the same, might be time to see how far she's willing to 'push the envelope'. if not, well, then I guess I got some sort of special favor off of her boss (though why I still can't fathom!).

    Dancers high Heels
one of the ladies I know who dances told me why she wears a set of heels that have soles on them that look like they're four of five inches thick: she's only 5'3", and they make her tall enough so she doesn't feel so over-shadowed by the guys. nice girl and she doesn't seem to have any mobility problems either on stage or in the back.

Hilton hotel closed by Chinese police over prostitution charges (102 arrested)
CTQWERTY, Ouch, that was a very bad pun! (probably why I liked it so much, LMAO!) as for the story, sounds like the cops are looking to do some more shake-down operations, as from what I've read, in China, this sort of operation usually works hand-in-glove with the local police. they get some extra cash in their pockets, the city gets some more visitors who might not have come otherwise, and the people who run the operations make a ton of money. only people who gets screwed, in both the figurative and literal sense, as the women who work in these establishments.

Charges filed after raid at Clermont (Cincinnati) strip club Déjà Vu
they charge a person *more* both in jail time and fines for running a "sexually oriented business" than they do a prostitute, and the definition of the above is if a woman is nude after midnight? I must be strange or something, but is that fucked up or what???

    Just got glasses
have worn glasses for some time and never had a problem with getting attention at the rail. when it's time to get a face full of tittie, the lady leans forward and I just take my glasses off and hold them in my hand while the fun happens. out at the stage, it's 'hands off', so having a hand occupied with my glasses isn't an issue. in the back for a VIP, most of the booths have small tables in them, so I just take the glasses off and lay them down there so my face and hands are both free to enjoy, and at that distance, I'd have to be blinder than Stevie to not know what's what.
