I saw a girl who was so drunk and high she was completely senseless, pull a guy's dick out, give him a HJ, and then MOUNT him on the main floor of the club. It might suggest being available OTC but wouldn't read too much into it. Beautiful young women make a living off their looks in many different ways - modeling, being a "booth babe" at trade shows, bartending/waitressing, and of course, stripping. Sometimes all of the above, and then some.
More common with strippers is low end modeling jobs doing cheesecake bikini/topless/lingerie shoots.
Of course a lot of strippers fancy themselves as models or actresses or some kind of star. You go girl!

A psychiatrist friend who treats addicts and people with similar problems says that practically all strippers and other sex workers have some kind of sexual abuse in their past. While many girls from "nice" families get into it, their backgrounds aren't always what they seem. There's pretty much always something there, even if they're not aware of it themselves. Of the strippers that I've been involved with, none had anything they thought was out of the ordinary, but as far as I'm concerned they're 3 for 3.

A lot of this is about the customer's ability to pay, or negotiate. Some of those sweet intelligent classy girls that you couldn't imagine would ever get dirty, are the biggest whores of all for the right amount of money.

There are dozens of sites in every city with ads for prostitution, etc. Craigslist is being targeted because it is a mass-market site with hundreds of times the traffic of those other sites, So by numbers alone it's a better feeding ground for scammers, and worse, plus it sucks in regular users who didn't come there looking for "adult services" and don't know the ropes. My own impression is that most of the adult ads on Craigslist are scams, and that this part of Craigslist has become a criminal bazaar.
So while technically it's unfair to pick on Craigslist but not Backpage, etc., it might be a good way to nip a lot of bad stuff in the bud.

It depends on what you're looking for.
You can hang out with some great girls and get great dances at the OG during the day, for not much money. No cover, reasonable drink and dance prices. But it's not much of a show. They hardly have any dancers on stage and it's really, really dark.
If you're looking for a big show with endless eye candy, the big clubs at night can offer that. But they're very expensive, even moreso if you start getting dances.
My impression from last time is that the leading clubs are still what they always were, but the rest have really deteriorated.
If you're looking for serious mileage, LV is rife with hot escorts and casino girls, which are ultimately cheaper than trying to get the same thing at a strip club. Not to mention loose women of all kinds, regular gals on the prowl. If you're youngish and reasonably attractive, your chances at hooking up at a regular bar, nightclub, or casino table are probably better in LV than anywhere.

I've had drunk dancers plop in my lap on the main floor, and give me more action there than I often get in the VIP. Should be fun enough but it's usually pretty awkward, and a display of poor judgment by the dancer. Things could get ugly from there. I wouldn't do it.
Not that a lot of them aren't drunk or high all the time anyway, but as long as they seem to be in control...
