I put it under the same category as, "I do private dances also" (as related to me in a club that does not have a private dance area).

ct, if you really want to know what a a specific dancer meant by any comment she made, just ask her. although you might get 10 different theories on what she meant by asking here, the only one that really knows what she meant was the dancer that uttered the comment.

I believe I once got together with a dancer who claimed she modeled. She was very busy. I didn't know her for long, she was off to Vegas the next day. I had fun.

The strippers I know that also model are pretty bad dancers back in the VIP. A few years ago one told me she was only stripping until her modeling or singing career takes off...it is several years later and she is still stripping full time. I do remember reading several comments on a christies cabaret brunswick scl forum and guys were posting links to porn videos that had a former christies dancer in them.

Had one claim to have done porn one time. Even invited me to the VIP to watch one of her movies. I've seen some Columbus dancers on Model Mayhem. I haven't seen them back in the clubs in my last few visits so maybe they've gone into "legit" work.

CT: Some of the models you see in ads aren't up to the calibre of the models you see in ads. It's amazing with makeup, lighting, airbrushing, and Photoshop can do. :)

It might suggest being available OTC but wouldn't read too much into it. Beautiful young women make a living off their looks in many different ways - modeling, being a "booth babe" at trade shows, bartending/waitressing, and of course, stripping. Sometimes all of the above, and then some.
