  I put it under the same category as, "I do private dances also" (as related to me in a club that does not have a private dance area).
  
  It's an opening gambit that skirts the law. I don't infer it limits what could be on the menu OTC.

  I've heard "nude modeling" being suggested as a safe way to broach a possible encounter later.

  ct, if you really want to know what a a specific dancer meant by any comment she made, just ask her. although you might get 10 different theories on what she meant by asking here, the only one that really knows what she meant was the dancer that uttered the comment.

  I believe I once got together with a dancer who claimed she modeled. She was very busy. I didn't know her for long, she was off to Vegas the next day. I had fun.

  The strippers I know that also model are pretty bad dancers back in the VIP. A few years ago one told me she was only stripping until her modeling or singing career takes off...it is several years later and she is still stripping full time. I do remember reading several comments on a christies cabaret brunswick scl forum and guys were posting links to porn videos that had a former christies dancer in them.

  Had one claim to have done porn one time. Even invited me to the VIP to watch one of her movies. I declined that, since the "VIP" at this club is right out in the open, so nothing porn-like was gonna happen to me. After much beating about the bush, it turned out her prices for OTC were apparently based on her opinion of herself as an "actress", roughly four times the rate I was used to paying. I declined that, too.

  Thanks all for the feedback. I was just fishing for intel. While attractive, the dancer who pitched the modeling subject wasn't up to the caliber of those frequently seen in ads, etc.

  I've seen some Columbus dancers on Model Mayhem. I haven't seen them back in the clubs in my last few visits so maybe they've gone into "legit" work.

  CT: Some of the models you see in ads aren't up to the calibre of the models you see in ads. It's amazing with makeup, lighting, airbrushing, and Photoshop can do. :)

  I remember a dance club visit many moons ago which was having a "model party night". Indeed there were several models there, but the most visibly distinguishing thing about them was their borderline anorexia. I wasn't attracted ...

  It might suggest being available OTC but wouldn't read too much into it. Beautiful young women make a living off their looks in many different ways - modeling, being a "booth babe" at trade shows, bartending/waitressing, and of course, stripping. Sometimes all of the above, and then some.
  
  More common with strippers is low end modeling jobs doing cheesecake bikini/topless/lingerie shoots.
  
  Of course a lot of strippers fancy themselves as models or actresses or some kind of star. You go girl!

  It could mean she aspires to be a model, or it can also mean she models for you. You have no way of knowing without asking further.
  
  There are a few aspiring models that strip in Columbus, and several have worked as spokesmodels during events at the Columbus Convention Center, including the Arnold Classic, the Columbus Auto Show, and various trade fairs.

  I have had them model for me before a session otc (Shelly, Maggie, Jessica - c my pics) to get a few extra bucks. This varies between girls. It is a real turn on to take pics of these girls and then fuck them. I believe it excites them too - seeingnaked horny photographer with a hard dick...whos really gonna fuck them for a long time.

  Player: agreed on the photo session turn-on! I have a pretty large collection of pics from several of my OTC friends. Not all of them will allow it, but when they do, it can be a lot of fun, for both of us.
  
  Several have enjoyed it so much that it became a routine everytime that we met. They'd bring their entire collection of outfits, spread them out on the bed and let me pick which ones I wanted to see them model.
