In Houston, a couple of incidents in this respect. The first, which got national coverage, was teens flashing lasers in pilots eyes, but after they locatedthe area where it was happening, they closed the area and increased both mouted and Police patrols in the immediate area-end of that problem. In the second, on two instances, someone fired a rocket at a Southwest plane. Since it happened in a forest, fifty miles from the airport (and at 16,000 feet), they didn't find the responsible person.
Back on topic, I've noticed in the past ten years that Houston strip club spotlights (once plentiful) have dwindled to a just a few.

My first visit to a strip club was November 1979. I remember it being a spectator sport. I like the change and in Houston, it happened around 1996. I rejoice in it and I don't like it when some chick tries to air dance or minimizes contact.

Cops work for the city. The city council person who pushed hardest for the 1997 ordinance to kill Houston clubs was an asian woman.

Don't know what part of the country you're in. The 2fer might work in some parts of the country, but in Houston you pay 20 for (usually) high mileage dances. Trying to negotiate will get you an air dance, at best.

I'd go with Craigslist, in L.A. anyway. In any event, you're going to have to spend money to "audition" the talent. You only got a fortnight to work with and trying to go the club route would be fruitless compared to craigslist.
Since you're talking bachelor party, the stripper you talk to will only dance for you. If you want more, you should've given more than two week notice.
Since it's L.A., expect to spend 2k or more. For that amount, I'd go with just hitting Vegas.

On my last SC visit, things were progressing quite well in LD territory. Topless place, but her panties were at mid thigh and mid finger was knuckle deep. I then inquired about OTC and she negotiated to VIP POP 200 + bottle = same as hotel.
So, we repaired to VIP where we undressed. Just as I'm about to insert she asks "You're not a cop, are you ?"
I assured her that a cop wouldn't finger her, and as I inserted I told her "And a cop wouldn't do this either." (not in Houston anyway).

The local Craigslist listings were so suspect that either they were poorly made ads, or LE bait. To truly respond, you were taking a roll of the dice.
With that said, earlier this year, the ad placers were so brazen that they were posting a picture of a hotel (across the steet from one of my buildings) and writing "See me in room 203". Then, several months ago, the hotel started air tight security. You couldn't drive onto the parking lot without being a registered guest. Last week, I noticed that they slacked up on security.
However, two streets over, I've seen prostitutes working the street, some of them looking 12-13 years old. I also see cops working that street, so I can imagine that if you troll the area, your license plate is being recorded.

I go to a laundromat around the corner. A tatoo shop opened next to the laundromat. The propietor was hanging around outside her shop as I unloaded my laundry. I recognized the propietor as a onetime stripper from St. James. She recognized me also, but she didn't ask me if I wanted a tat.

Back in the early 1990's, I was a cop. While Iwas at the academy, they gave us a night out. I went to the movies, my roomates went to the strip joint. When they came back, they said, "We sat down and the waitress said 'what'll you Officers have ?' How did she know we were cops ?"
I repied, "You walked in, sidestepped the door, waited for your eyes to adjust, then sat where you could watch the front door, right ?"
"Yeah."
"Well, that's how she knew you were cops."

In the early 1980's, when I was stationed there, there were wide ugly firebreaks on top of the mountains. They were practical and necessary, but aesthetically uncharming to the eye. The environmentalists went to court and had the firebreaks, and other common sense measures done away with. Although there were wildfires before, the result after this court decree has caused massive destructive wildfires.

Houston's SC ordinance was meant to kill the industry, but like I've said earlier, universally ignored and rarely enforced. Also, City Council fought like hell to try to keep citizens from deciding if red light cameras stay or go. The election is in November.
