dougster, you are not far off! My online bookie now has Obama listed at -970, or a 9.7 to one favorite. I know someone who was able to put money down on him at less than 4 to 1 a couple weeks ago. McCain is at +680, so a hundred bet on him would win $680 should he be elected.

I go just the opposite of Bookguy. Think Obama might win popular vote by small margin, but he'll win in a substantial enough number of states to roll up a pretty good electoral vote total. Maybe 325-350. Also believe that Dems will end up with about 255 seats in House, 60 in Senate.

I'm going to Vegas next week, and read the online Vegas papers daily. If the CH2 had reopened, I'm certain the papers would have covered it. I'll certainly check, though.

I used to think Bridget was cute, and she WAS cute, but now she's really beginng to show some age.

one thing i'd suggest is a tighter connection between the mag and tv channel. they rarely have anything to do with each other. You can still have all the softcore porn you want, but they should do a far better job with past and current playmates. Pam Anderson constantly professes her love for Hef, for example, but they rarely do anything with her.

completely opposite situation in Columbus OH. Gas prices have dropped 50 cents per gal over the last 2 weeks, 25 cents of that amount coming in the last 3-4 days. Gas now as cheap as it was in the spring, under 3.40 per gal.

Two things to add: Casualguy is right, D. Trump owns the Miss Universe organization, which includes both the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA contests.
Under certain circumstances, Pboy just gives the magazine away. I know, because about 10 yrs ago, I complained about a video tape I orderred from Pboy. To help make it right, they offered me a free subscription, and they have renewed it for free every year since.
I agree that Hef's smut mag has not kept up with the times. Our population is more diverse, but you rarely see any Asian pmates, and a black centerfold comes around only once every 18 months or so. And putting female stars trying to revive their popularity like Janet Jackson and Cindy Margolis in the mag cannot be considered cutting edge. You're supposed to get 'em while they're hot, Hef, not when they're approaching 40 and you gotta wear out the airbrushes just to make 'em look halfway decent.

lemme add 2 cents worth on related issue. I see so many good face/good body/BAD HAIR dancers. Very frustrating for a hair guy like me. Got to Mons in Tampa and so many of the girls there had not washed or otherwise cared for their hair. I love burying my face in soft hair, BUT NOT IF IT'S DIRTY, SMELLY OR UNKEMPT.

Been visiting Vegas several times a year for 15 years. Observations:
Rhino is best strip club hands down. Best nites to visit are Wed or Thursday, very crowded on weekends.
Deja Vu does not serve alcohol, but is nude. Girls dance there as young as 18.
Olympic Garden has gone downhill in recent years.
DO NOT under any circumstances allow cabbie to steer you to clubs that you have not thoroughly checked out on this site.

not a big deal, unless dancer starts dressing weird, like goth, for example. Then it's a total turnoff. Do your hair and makeup nice, that's the important stuff to me, along with a good figure of course!

They are indeed a waste of money if you just get dances with random girls in random clubs. I won't even think about getting a dance unless a) she really, really turns me on and b) I've observed her on stage or dancing for a guy so I can see she knows how to please her customers...
I can go to the best clubs in the country...Vegas Rhino, Flashdancers, Mons, and go for evenings on end without getting a dance because I don't find girls who meet the above criteria. But when I do, I'll be a generous customer for a long time...

10-15 years ago, I would have loved to have had even a 2 min. LD from Robin Givens. Saw her at a fight once, and she was prettier in person than on the tube or in mags.
Today, I'm older and find it hard to get excited about most starlets. The exception is Jessica Biel, she's gorgeous and gives off a vibe of having a slightly wild side. Luv to find out.

hope everyone read lotsoffun's take on the Vegas economy. I'm going there in a few weeks because I got such a good room deal. I'm hoping there will be more and better looking dancers who will be eager to please, knowing that the poor economy limits their other job opportunities...
I've lived in Central Ohio for 2 years now and other than the slow housing market, have not noticed much of a change in the economy. The Franklin Co. unemployment rate is 5.7%, a touch high but by no means off the chart (Franklin Co. is home to Ohio State and the state capitol). Food prices are up. Walmart supercenter has good prices, but even those are rising a bit.
