With historical roots to both Ford and Chrysler, it’s population boomed to over 50,000 in the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. After WW2, white flight began and the town experienced double digit population declines in each decade. Now the population is around only 8000 people. 95% African American. It has one of the highest crime rates in the nation and it’s has the highest percentage of residents living below the poverty line in the entire country (cities > 5000 ppl). so on another words, this shooting is just another day in da hood. Feel bad for the female victim caught in the crossfire.

Disappointed to hear this - this is the first new movie in years I’ve been anxious to see. I’ve read poor reviews on line - but figured they were written by the generations that grew up the “Fast and Furious” and MCU movies. One reviewer cited “too much talking” - well that doesn’t bother me as “12 Angry Men” is in my top 5 films of all time. I love historical films, especially the WW2 era, so I will still check it out once it hits streaming

I’m guessing they don’t play much Barry Manilow or Jason Aldean in this club
