Indy local here, no clear reason for the increase but as I understand it the $2 goes to the club. All other clubs here are at 20 except for PT's at $25. I keep meaning to try a Thur or Friday afternoon but it hasn't worked out to see if afternoon is $12 or $10.

For me it's around $50-$75. This year $68, last year $49. 2 dances @ 20 + $6 cover maybe and $6 drink+tip is going to be pretty close to the minimum. This year I went in for a Dancer's birthday no dances but spent $53, From cover $6, drinks $12-$18, stage tips and dancer drinks but that was a night went in with a stage tipping mindset and tipped the birthday girl a bit more than normal the one time she made it to stage.

Dancers understand who you favorites are if you're a regular. I've had dancers say things like XXXX is your favorite or Are you waiting on your fav? Although one of the dancers that I is 2nd in the number of dances I get refers to her regular as B's regular, Heck they even have me calling him that. These girls spend a lot more time in the club than we do, they may understand us better than we do.

I tend to agree with samung1 comments. I had that feeling but wasn't able to attend to be sure of that feeling so it's good to hear comments from those that have experience.

I use to have a favorite club that had theme nights. Fetish night, pajama night etc., those were usually fun. Although frequently not a great night for lap dances as the dances were interested in the stage shows so grabbing dances with my favorites was different than normal nights.

Has the original TUSCL Convention topic disappeared? I've looked at most recent posting back to 5/2/09.

I have 16. 8 from home area, 5 from Tampa Bay and 3 from western OH when I was thinking about a visit there.
I use it as a quick way to navigate to make reviews or update details. Also gives an overview of club trends with the rating change indicator. I've visited all home area and Tampa Bay clubs but some not recently. Not sure I've reviewed all those clubs.

I'm the favorites type of guy. I currently have several dancers I'll get dances from but they all know the ATF and the 2nd in order. There are advantages - I've had them go let the ATF know I'm there. Serve as protectors from undesirable dancers either knowingly or not (I can say I'm waiting on dancer X). Favorite recent move, I was having trouble keeping a dancer gone with strong hints. As one of the group walked near I raised my eyebrow, she came over and whispered in my ear " Was that a I need rescued look?" Answer yes and she sits down next to me.
The ATF knows my attitude is make money off temp visitors as my money will always be there. She normally ignores that but recently had a situation when tipping her at stage there were more guys than she could get to upon returning to the table she said she remembered previous discussion and decided to go to the other guys because of it. The right favorite for me will always understand that I'll get dances from others and current ATF makes suggestions on who I might like.
I guess I'm lucky to have a group that gets along well. Recently they/we have moved to a new club so it will be interesting to see how that integrates with some of the dancers I've know previously but are on the same connection level as the old club group.

Founder - with the old click to hide snippets it was really nice teat the city names were left hand justified in a column. Made it easy to scroll through and look for relevant cities. For me well over 90% of recent reviews are for areas I may never visit so I follow a few localities.
Just some input. Can live with what we have now even though I find it more cumbersome than before.
I always appreciate that you listen and normally come up with something better than we had before.

The answer may depend on what you mean by "bang for the buck" and what time of day you want to visit.
Anyway not knowing anymore In would agree with minnow and say BBF. I will pass that on with a warning. You had a Gold Club Review that complained about it being run down. The Brass is more of a neighborhood strip club than a high glitz place.
But if you want to trade less quality dancer for other things dayshift at Harem house might meet your needs.
Also I think the dancer quality at the Gold Club is being improved on recently.

More girls dancing per shift as they try to make up for off nights.
The result is not good as you have fewer dollars being chased by more dancers and resulting desperate dancers becoming wanna dance queens.

Yes I have Myspace and a seldom used facebook. It's easy to have a semi-anonymous myspace page, many dancers have a dancer page. Easy to communicate without giving out personal email. Although you can do the same with various email services.

I had noticed the extra decimal places which caused me to go look at some reviews which showed 3 sub-categories but couldn't see the big picture without actual posting a review.
I can't wait to try it seems like he has captured a number of things I try to work into reviews, but may not always remember. Time to go visit a club other than what has become my regular place.

Ths thought is so true.
This defineatly was the case for me after the Gold club raised it's prices. I had two changes in spending patterns. First I where previously it was pretty easy to spend $10 to try a new dancer out just on a whim after they went to $20 I would only dance with those I had previously had experiemnce with. Secondly when the 1/2 room was $50 I would always cover the $10 to the house and generally tip a $20 or more to bring my average dance cost in the 15-20 range. Once the room went to $125 for 1/3 hour I pretty much quit tipping. Eventually I just quit going. The dancers were used to providing a level of pre-dance conversation the fit a $10 model of ask and go, in other clubs with the same prcing they were used to a $20 dance conversation model and had more dancer option. After 9 months I decided the business model wasn't changing form the previous $10 level and only the prices had increase by 100% for dances or 150% for VIP. Seeing the value wasn't there I moved on.
Eventually the club suffers from lack of adult beverage sales or is full of groups of guys in the ir 20's looking for a party not dances.

Well that brings them even with other Indy clubs for lap dance and $25 under most for VIP. I notice how most of the increase went to the club. When Gold Club went up to 20/125 VIP it became a ghost town as customers left in droves. Basically this type of increase looses them teh compettive advantage and in the face of decliing economy the marlet for a luxury good like lap dances will take a major hit.
They'll end up like every other club 6 dancers on day shift and less than 6 customers.

I'll most likely to join the event if possible but have a couple of late October appointments to move this week. I have hotel frequncy points to burn and vacation time to take.
I'm a little new around here as a just recently found the discussion board has activity. So if you'll have me I'll try to be there.

Yes, I have a couple of clubs that are only acceptable as look and drink clubs but they aren't as convenient in location so I've found tyhat I seldom go there.

FONDL Covered my tipping style. I generally tip a dancer I regularly get dances from 10 to 20 assuming we've done a string of 3 dances or more or a 1/2 hour VIP. Dancers asking for tips don't get tips. Most dancers I tips from seem to give a better dance over time with consistent tipping. Although I suspect that I weed out the ones that don't give better dances from the dancer rotation fairly quickly or at least reduce the dance numbers and quit tipping. So that may be self-fulfilling

Good review with details. Question for anyone when did they raise the price on $100 half hour to $150. Or did he get misquoted?

Thanks, for the review. It's been a long time since an evening visit for me. I think it's time to change that. Drinking age is 21 in Indiana. Girls can work in club at 18.
