How reliable Top 40?
List by rating score can be trusted to result in above-average mileage - it wouldn't be rated that high by so many if it was a table dance club where the bouncer watched you the whole time. I've travelled once to many of the historically top 40's over the past 10 years. Rarely have I been back to them unless I was in that city for other reasons and had the time. Mons Venus is a club that all SCer's in the world need to go to ONCE - just to experience it. Unless I lived near Tampa or visited Tampa frequently, doubt that I would fly 6 hours out of my way to visit it otherwise. It's a 10! Same with MBOT. I've never been to Treasures in Houston, but eventually I will go - simply because it's in the top 40. In its heyday, MSC was unique; today, I probably wouldn't bother to go in even if the plane crashed right in to it. When I visit TUSCL, I generally start with a quick scan of Recent Reviews - the 9 and 10 ratings - just to see if I might be missing out on something...like mileage. Then I proceed to this Board for some truly philosophical, occasionally childish, but always elighting fare.

How many miles to get more mileage?
After I discovered TUSCL 7 or 8 years ago, I did a four day ultra road trip to SF, Tijuana, Houston and Tampa. These days I drive 4 hours to ESL a couple of times a year. I enjoy my local club more than in the past, and at the present time, the mileage is the best it has ever been. Kinda' like the places I visited back then - except for Tijuana of course.

Have you ever complained to management?
I rarely complain except for the take the drink when I go to the restroom - even when it has a napkin on the top of it. I always thought that was the unversal sign for "leave this drink alone". But, hey, these are strip clubs...

How would you handle this situation
In unfamiliar surroundings, I generally watch how many dances a girl is getting. Popular girls usually give "better" dances. Most girls who "color outside the lines" make some effort to let you know that before you head off to the VIP with them. However, I have been fooled on that ploy a time or two. Do one dance, thank her and continue the hunt!

is there sex in the champagane room?
When I go to a new club one of the first things I do is look over the VIP area or room to determine whether sex could be had there. Out of management view, dark, places where other dancers can't observe - you know what I mean. Now, It's not likely that I could have sex in the VIP on my first visit or two (there are several exceptions scattered around the country) but it does give me some idea of how much time and effort I might spend there in the future. The second part of this very scientific research is the quality of the dancers (which can eliminate many of those aforementioned exceptions)

Does a good lapdance always have to have high mileage?
There was probably a time very early in my SC adventures when I could have rated a low-mileage lapdance as great because I didn't know any better. Today, I require higher mileage to even invest in a second dance; and then increasingly higher mileage to continue. A dance without a moderate level of intimate contact is boring even with the hottest chick in the place.

Is getting an obvious erection during a lapdance normal or just me?
I think most girls are offended if after a dance or 2 you're not at least semi wooded. Afterall, for many dancers getting a customer hard is one of the few things in life they have been successful at.

On tour
I did a Seatle, SF, LA, Tijuana, Houston flying SC marathon in five days a few years ago. By the time I got to Hou, I had visited about 30 clubs, experienced maybe a 100 LD's, enjoyed FS with attractive women numerous times, and frankly I was bored and tired. Before that trip I thought it would be quite a life just traveling from city to city checking out the clubs - I think it might get pretty boring actually. Besides, I like my favorite club because I have acquaintences there and I look forward to seeing them; they are familiar. And the road can be lonely - even with my face buried between a pair of D's.

Like Chandler, I get a rush out of the whole process. So the specific act that took place (or maybe it didn't take place) isn't always the determining factor. The 1st on the all-time greatest experience list would be with Michelle. She was beautiful - a genuine 9.9. I knew her family - her dad and I were similar age and had worked together years before. The fact that she was dancing a couple of nights a week was "our little secret". She was not my ATF because she was a huge tease - her mileage was low by any standard. Her beauty and charm gained her many regulars and she was one of the club's most popular dancers. We rarely did dances, but we always spent some time talking when I was in the club. One night, during a rare dance occassion for us in the not-so-private-VIP, she snuggled in real close, reached down, unzipped me and went in for a feel. "Nice dick", she cooed in my ear. I was shocked! She then initiated some very hot DFK. The next few seconds was a blur, but she slipped me in bareback and the rest was lots of happiness. Afterward, she put her forehead and nose to mine: "I've been wanting to do that with you for a long time", she whispered. I agreed. That was 10 years ago, she only danced for a year or so then got married and had a couple of kids. I still see her at the grocery store now and then. Another outstanding experience was at the same club several years later. I had been getting dances from Kelli the last couple of times I was in, and was actually thinking about "cutting back" the spending on her since her mileage was fairly low. She was 18, petite, long dark hair, 34-C, no kids - my dream dancer. While a lot of the girls broke the rules frequently, Kelli didn't generally "color too far outside the lines". So, on this day, we were a couple of dances into a session in the club's remodeled and much-more-private VIP, when she got on her knees next to me on the couch, wiggled her thong down a couple of inches, and bent over my lap. This is a textbook position for most mileage-maximizing dancees such as myself. A discreet hand up the leg and under the thong gives unparalleled digital access to the object of every man's desire. It was too easy this day; the lube was coming out so fast that within seconds I had her thighs, coochie and petite ass cheeks glazed with her feminine juices (this sounds like a porn script). I fingered her pussy with a forceful and rythmic action until she gasped, moaned, panted and collapsed on my lap spent from the sexual release that had swept over her spinner frame. Well, I didn't get off on that one, but I'm sure she was not faking it. We did the same thing again a week or so later, and this time I also got a lubed finger in the other hole which, from the way she was rocking back and forth, she must have enjoyed a lot. The ending isn't so good with this one. Apparently, she was living at home with her parents (a very rare situation for a dancer). The parents found out she was dancing, and she quit dancing rather than getting booted from the house. StripClub Rule #1: The good ones never last very long! The 3rd one is buried somewhere in scores of other remarkable episodes, any one of which was no doubt outstanding in its own way - it's why I'm addicted to the "hunt".

That teacher is lucky she got a judge from another planet. The age thing alone would get you a prison sentence in many states. Afterward, your friends could find you using the sexual predator locator app for iphones.

The Sinclair Diaries: Part 6
The fact that much of ESL really does resemble a war zone - not an exaggeration - adds to the level of discomfort. The populations of the various townships in the area are estimated to the nearest 100. But, as you know, the area out around Hollywood, Hustler and Miss Kitty's is well lit and not quite so bad. It's troublesome to know that there's an Illinois State prison just on the other side of the interstate from Hustler club.

@sinclair. Thanks for the great travelogue! ESL has everything for everybody...there's even a gay strip club down there in Centreville. And the Indian mounds...that's a bonus! Titties and history all in one trip. That area is probably the most disturbing slice of Americana I have ever seen. Once the Midwest's hub of agricultural, meat packing and foundry industries, it is almost totally in ruins today. Ten years ago, I had just left Roxy's and was stopped at a stop sign when this little black kid - maybe ten years old came running over to my truck. I'm scanning him for WMD's, but he looks clean. "Hey mister, you wanna' see my sister naked?" How much? (probably should have asked 'how old'...) "The more you pay, the more you see..come on mister". "Not today kid, sorry". The future for ESL is bright...because it couldn't get much dimmer. Yep, there's another house burned down...But it's a great place for strip clubs - they bring commerce to the area, and nobody seems to complain. Brooklyn feels dangerous at night, but relatively safe during the day. I don't go there much anymore, since PT's bought the Platinum Club, the prices are just too much, and the ROB factor is still way too high. The AA clubs don't get crankin' till late, so I am pretty content with WP these days. Well, again, thanks for the nice report.

Of the subgroups in ESL, WP has the highest mileage overall. I have never felt as though Hollywood was very high mileage, but it has better looking dancers for sure. I'm not into $25 lappers, so I don't usually stop in there or Husler. I like the negotiable flat fee places like C-Mowes, Blondies and Soft Touch (not in WP but just blocks away).

TV Jamming ?
Look outside and see if your local cable provider has a truck parked in front of your house during the bad reception period. Maybe they send a guy in a truck over every evening for an hour or so to emit some rogue signals that fuck-up your reception in hopes that you'll get pissed and switch to cable. Maybe you can go out and pay the cable guy to make him stop doing it.

Speaking of Concerts (Off Topic)
It's nice that many older groups are doing reunion tours. I went to college in a town that was far off the beaten path for tour stops in the day, but I have been able to see a couple of groups in the last few years that I missed back then. Often their performances are as good as you can imagine - as professionals, they haven't lost their skills.

Big ones I missed 35 years ago include: The Eagles, CSN&Y, James Taylor & Carol King (that was unbelievable!), Winwood & Clapton ( I loved Blind Faith!). And I've seen some individuals like Dave Mason, Leon Russell and Roger Daltry. I still want to see the Stones, but I don't know....

So most of these folks voices still work pretty good 35-40 years later...I wish I could say the same for all of me...LOL.
The Musician Asks:
Dude, I played in a band in college as well, and you're right, the audience is a huge turn on. For me, knowing that we just nailed that song was the biggest rush. I don't play with others much anymore, but I go to concerts frequently. I like great music and musicians . Artists I've seen since the first of this year include: Eric Clapton / Roger Daltry, Leon Russell, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Carol King / James Taylor, Steve Winwood / Carlos Santana. All provide outstanding performances in their own genre.

Sorry to get long winded here, but I saw Lionel Hampton in Seattle a few months before he passed away back in the early 2000's. My wife wasn't feeling well after dinner, so she went back to the hotel and I went to see Lionel in little a club in downtown Seattle. He had suffered a stroke a few years before, and had a long piano bench with a guy on each side of him to keep him from falling over. Obviously he was touring because he needed money, but was barely able to perform - sort of a freak show feeling about it. But in his prime he was a great jazz musician who played with unmatched intensity, and I am proud to say that I saw him even though he was a shadow of what he had been.

After the show I stopped by Rick's for a while before going back to the hotel.
