My experience is that PT's-Centreville is probably the only club where couples can have fun in a crowd. I think they still have a swingers group that meets there on Saturday night for a private dinner/dance, and they usually end up in the strip club area...it's fun.
There are other clubs where a girl could get a private lap dance (etc), and it wouldn't be a spectacle. And there are clubs where anybody can get anything.
Stick with PT's, and feel good about the experience.

Most surprising...?? Well, there have been several unexpected "slipped it in there" episodes, but the one that stands out goes like this.
I set up OTC with an 18yo AA spinner who said she was going to quit dancing and get a real job but would see me because I was special, so we met at a little flea-bag motel. Ended up naked in bed making out, but I could tell she was holding back. Some of my pre-cum got on her leg; she rubbed it around some, and suddenly just got up out of bed and said she couldn't do this because she was dating a guy and she loved him and she wasn't a whore and wanted to go home and the pre-cum was nasty, yada, yada, yada. I'm a bit put out by the whole thing, and decided 18yo might be a little young for this OTC stuff. Whatever. I liked her, but I could live without this childish behavior.
A couple of years later, I wander into the same juice-bar club. Slow day, nobody there. The manager asks me if I remember this dancer..of course....well she's back and this is he first day. And, suddenly, there she was.
So we talked for a while, and she admitted she was still a little drunk from a birthday party they had for another dancer in the dressing room. We decide to go to VIP since nobody was up there. Half way into the first song, we are into some heavy petting w/ DFK, and before the song was over, I was inside of her. We f**ked for the entire second song until I unloaded in her early in the third song.
We got cleaned up, and I asked how much I owed her. She said the dances were enough, and that she had felt really bad about the thing two years before.
She quit dancing again, and I never saw her after that. I liked her.

I did some internet research on swingers clubs a year or so ago just to find out what they were about. Bang69 is right, most of them do not allow single men "except in special circumstances". I took that to mean that they would be with a club member(s) and probably be exceptionally good looking and hung. Most of the clubs required some sort of phone interview before disclosing their location. This Trapeze club seems atypical in many ways.
On a busy night at the former Chameleon Club in WP one might find several dancer-customer couples having sex openly in the "apartment". Damn fires.

Maybe TUSCL could have a "diary" feature where you could keep track of your SC spending, and then at the end of the year TUSCL would send the IRS a Form 1069 to support your deduction.
In case you spent more than you made some year, you could carry back the unused deduction.

If your fav club isn't mentioned in the comments above, get to know a dancer there by repeatedly going to the club to get dances from her. If the club is "conducive" to fooling around undetected, then you should get some very high mileage and probably extras from that dancer. If the club isn't so "conducive", it's probably because LE is watching closely, and you'll likely have to find a different club...maybe in a different state - except Ohio.

Write down on a piece of paper how much you spent during this extravaganza. Total it up, and write down what you still have, or what you accomplished from spending this amount.
Then write down a list of material things you could have acquired for that amount, and material things you could have acquired for half that amount. Then annualize the total amount.
That's it. It's an exercise in "perspective". You probably got a great-paying job because you are able to analyze things. So analyze this. There's no shame in the SC hobby; but you need to pay a reasonable price for both your physical and emotional needs. Otherwise, it becomes destructive.
There is no glory in wearing the PL Champ crown for more than a year.

Have seen dancers on several occasions: air show (w/ her sister, nephews and nieces), jazz/blues festival (w/ her lesbian significant other), funeral (w/ her husband and in-laws), Wal-Mart (by herself) and McDonald's (w/ friends). Probably seen more...just forgot. All of these sightings were in ordinary places among everyday people.

1st visit: did a few dances with her. Lots of touching. 2nd visit: second dance, or so, she says: "what can I do for you besides stick my hand up your shorts?" (as she was doing just that). Me: "you could meet me outside of here."
It was the start of a long and very enjoyable relationship. Lots of great stories to tell from the "Shelly days"!

When you get burned-put, take some time off. I have done that a few times over the past 20 years. I think the longest period was 6 months, but usually it was just a few weeks.
Your wallet will appreciate it, and it gives your psyche time to return to real life.

If you had sweetie bring you a spud wrench that you could take back to camp with you, then the flight might be tax-deductible...are Canadian tax laws similar to U.S. in that regard? Probably still too much for piece of tail!
