Some clubs are starting to offer RTRC on Twitter. It's great if it's kept updated. Only one club near me does it religiously, and it is just one reason that they are doing well in this economy. They are really making an effort to promote customer service, and it's paying off.

My experience is that the dancers drag it out as long as possible so that not only are they getting xtra $$$ (or a nice tip)for services rendered, but they are also getting that many more $30 lap dances out of you.
I've had several dancers that deliberately got me teetering on the edge over the course of 3 or 4 dances, then would back off a bit to extend our time together. Big payday for them in terms of how many lapdances they scored out of me.

I don't know how common it is, but I'm meeting more & more dancers that are shacking up together, and it's more than just cost saving. I'm also meeting more gay dancers in general. One club I recently started to visit is in a dicey area, and is full of latina dancers. The first time I visited I thought for sure that I would be ignored. I was happily surprised to find not one but three lesbian dancers that immediately sought me out and had their way with me! So....ya never know.

On the whole, my SO & I are accepted very nicely out in the real world. We are an interracial couple, so most people seem to focus on that before acknowledging our same-sex status. Most people we meet ask us alot of questions, which we are more than happy to answer. Knowledge is power, and fear & ignorance is the enemy.
Oh...and we sometimes get kinky offers for all types of adult play, often from women who want to explore their bi-curious side. I'm usually game, but the missus is very conservative and will have none of it :(

I only get official permission to go if there is a special event for a friend or coworker (going away luncheon, divorce party, etc.), or if she fucks something up, and allowing me a stripclub visit is her way of saying she's sorry.
Just as long as she doesn't find out about the "unofficial" visits I make on my own!

Upselling can really hurt a club if it drives customers away. That happened recently to a local club here that had to shut down because of greedy dancers.
I used to tolerate upselling and would sometimes negotiate, but no more. I refuse to haggle for a dance, and I will only pay the posted price. If the girl tries to upsell, I walk away.

I don't do DATY on dancers much anymore, which I miss alot. Every time my tongue tingled I would freak out and swear "never again". Also didn't want to bring home any uninvited germs to my GF.
They still do DATY on me occasionally, which I know is also a risk - but it's hard to say "no" when your pants are down around your ankles.

My mileage here in L.A. has always been high, so for me it has sustained throughout my clubbing years. The major change I have seen throughout this recession is that I'm getting hit up by dancers that never used to approach me before.

I've never given dancers anything but cold hard cash, often tipping generously for services rendered. I'm not real big on receiving gifts myself, so I don't give dancers any. I agree with others that it may come across as creepy or desperate under certain circumstances.

OK, I see. Good question. I don't know how today's dancers wound up in gi-normous heels, but it seems to be required stripper attire. I personally love the look of the 6 - 8" heels, but they really are overkill (not to mention dangerous), especially on any dancer that has any height to her at all.

If you're talking about the 3-4" of platform at the front of the shoe (under the ball of the foot & toe area),then that is there to allow the dancer to wear 8" spiked heels and not have her foot at a ridiculous angle to try and walk in. It's the equivalent of her walking on 4" heels, as far as her foot angle is concerned.

Xtras are always available @ the clubs I frequent, but the dancers appear to be very choosy as to whom they offer them to. The exception to this is the City of Industry area, where anything goes for anybody with cash in hand.

While with a dancer ITC/OTC, I believe that I am the center of her universe. As soon as our time is up, I choose to not think about her anymore, since thoughts of what she might do with other custies would really kill it for me.

Like Misterguy mentions, I like to sit at a table or booth nearby the dressing room entrance. Although it makes you very visible to the dancers (may be good or bad, depending on your view), you know what dancers are there and can catch the more elusive ones as they head in or out of the dressing room.

I'm a married woman and I've never really sought out extras, but they are often offered, and I rarely say no. Regrets? Not really. I treat my "wife" very well and we get along fine. I need the variety offered by other women, and a stripclub provides this quite nicely.

I found a t-shirt on ebay that shows a Weebles stripclub. It has a Weeble stripper (topless) and a bunch of drunken Weebles surrounding a stage. Of course I had to buy it, and the few times I've worn it to a club the dancers thought it was hilarious.

Most of my (straight) female friends either aren't looking for a man, or are trying to dump the ones they have. Most women of today are just as tired of the bullshit games as much as guys are. "Stroke an ego"? "Make him feel like a king"? WTF? Talk about old school! Sorry, old guys - those days are dead and gone, thank goodness.

I just started visiting a nearby club with the "buy the lady a drink" hustle. Until now I had never ran across it (just lucky, I guess). Since I like the club & the dancers, I just factor in the cost, and write it off as a cost of doing business. I'm sure it will get old soon, and then I'll boycott the club for awhile. But for now I endure it.
