@Estafador - many of us use desktops at work. The two biggest problems in surfing at work is either others seeing our monitors, and/or our employers monitoring our internet usage. Either way TUSCL, with it's advertising pictures & frank discussions, would be a huge no-no for most of us at work - the software filters would probably go nuts.

Arrived @ 11:30 am for lunch with some coworkers, intending on only staying an hour. Left @ 2am, for a stay of 14.5 hours.
To this day it's still a blur.

If you club long enough, that "good girl" image that some veteran strippers try to portray gets old pretty quickly. I have seen my share of bright-eyed newbies that really were innocent, but we all know that that innocence doesn't last very long in the sex industry.....to keep trying to portray that sweet innocent school girl type just winds up coming off as ridiculous.

I just ran into the DejaVu thing this past weekend. Upon using their "free" pass, I was a bit surprised when the door girl quoted me $10. I said that I thought the pass got me in free, to which she replied that the $5 daytime cover was waived, but not the $10 drink charge. Like others here have said, I just paid it and considered it the cost of doing business, for a hopefully much better spending experience once I got inside.

It's hard to believe that school girl outfits would be a turn off to many. It's right up there with nurses & french maids outfits. Like others have noted, when they work, they REALLY work. But when it fails, it fails miserably.
And I actually like tats, piercings & goth. I find those types of dancers to be genuine, original, and most importantly - sexually inquisitive ;-)

There are tons of clubs spread out all over LA & Orange County, and most clubs are pretty racially diverse in their dancer lineups. Is there a particular type of dancer that you are looking for? And in what region of LA?

Here in LA the non-alcohol nude clubs are much higher mileage than the alcohol-serving topless joints. I rarely drink, so I prefer the nude clubs anyway.
There are fewer and fewer nude places in LV, and it's a shame. Besides anything that ends in "Cabaret" (which are to be avoided), the only nude joints that I know of now are Lil D's, Talk of the Town, & the Palomino. I haven't been back to Deja Vu since it went topless a few years ago.

Totally agree w/ minnow about Bare Elegance-LAX grub....mighty tasty stuff. The nearby Jet Strip also has pretty good food. I miss the beloved Wild Goose (R.I.P. 2011). Although it was a dive bar, it had some of the best food that I've ever had in a stripclub in LA.

On a recent visit to a local upscale club here in LA, I met a dancer that that gave great mileage, but stopped short of giving me a happy ending. I tipped her nicely at the end of our session anyway, to more or less plant a seed to see what she would do on our next visit.
I saw her again last week. Our conversation went something like this:
Me: Hi!
Her: Hi! What will you give me today?
Me: Huh? Give you? What do you mean?
Her: You know what I mean....
Me: Doh! I see. How much do you want?
Her: $150
Me: (thinking about it) What do I get for $150?
Her: (winks at me & heads towards the cheap dance area)
Me: Hey! Isn't VIP the other way?
Her: Yeah, but it's cheaper pay out for me if we conduct business over there
Me: Gotcha
I don't normally pay for services like that, but it was fun to see how you fella's do it ;-)
And this was at an "upscale" club not known for extras, so in COI I probably would have gotten an orgy going for $150.

There might be hope for this next generation after all!
I have, on occasion, run into very young dancers that seemed to have "old" souls....they were very mellow, didn't party much, and didn't act or speak like a typical flakey 18-20yo girl would. Many of these girls would be considered alt girls - into goth, tats, piercings, etc. Cool chicks nonetheless.
Unfortunately for me, it seems that the latest batch of 18-21yo dancers that have found their way to my table are stoner valley-girls......even I have trouble maintaining a conversation with them, and I can talk to just about anyone.

Hey if she can hang with the likes of us, then she's a keeper. I doubt that anyone will be able to corroborate her identity, so I guess we'll have to take her at her word. Either way - it's nice to see other gals here. Strippers don't hang around here long, though....Stiletto25 is about as long term as I can remember. What ever happened to DaddysGirl?

I expect the younger dancers to have limited conversation skills, especially with older customers. I wouldn't expect a 20yo to be able to easily maintain a flowing conversation with a 60yo man. It's not like they would have much in common besdies that they both are in a stripclub. Although I'm far from 60 years old (or a man for that matter), I will often keep the converstion going when a stripper runs out of small talk. It's not a big deal to do so. And if a conversation completely dies, what's so difficlut about just coming right out and asking her for a dance if you see that she's struggling to maintain a conversation? It would probably be a relief for her to dance instaed of talk!
As for sitting on laps - some clubs don't allow it, so dancers have to sit in a chair next to the customer.
And most every dancer that I have asked has said that they prefer lone customers over groups.
