If I find a woman attractive, I'm going to find her attractive with or without makeup. My two favorite dancers right now (the ATF and the almost ATF) both look better to me when they aren't done up, but I don't dislike their makeup and they do a nice job with it.
One exception. If her complexion is really, really bad then it makes a difference to me.

Not if I'm there for an hour or two, but I've left a club after 15-20 minutes if I haven't been approached and I don't see anything that's drawing my interest. I've also left a club in 5 minutes when I was actively trying to avoid getting stuck being polite to a club full of bowsers.
Hell, I've had dancers walk up and ask me why I haven't left yet. Some clubs don't put dancers on stage when it's slow, so customers are sitting there bored and dancers are wondering if they should bother saying hello. Usually my answer is because I'm from out of town, it's late and there's shit else to do around here. If the dancer is the best prospect on shift I'll use the "waiting for you" line, which has been in so-bad-it's-good territory a long time now. I've had some pretty good visits kick off from there.

What is a news "technical director"? A couple of weeks ago at P10 North in Austin, TX. Not really doing clubs this year, but met a dancer who was intriguing on a so-so visit. She exceeded all expectations in VIP on the next go round, but I'm still not sold on putting any clubs back in rotation.
2020 changed my clubbing experience in a way that has me reconsidering the hobby, but in my area the conditions for ITC fun are getting back to pre-pandemic levels. OTC was always there. In some ways it's been better than before depending on how customers managed the scene last year.

The Block is next to Police HQ and was already a look the other way situation so long as tourists stayed safe and shit wasn't in the streets. Other clubs (RIP Players Club) had UHM with nice talent even after the crackdown a decade or so back, but maybe they'll be easier to find now in higher end clubs.

Maybe it's a troll, but does it matter if it's fake? Does it matter if it's all true? If you think it's interesting just reply to it and then move on to the next thing. Clearly some get really invested in their online time, and that's mostly ok, but all in all it's not that serious. Unless I happen to meet someone in person it's all just words, but still try to be a reasonable sort even when in character.

Obviously DC strip clubs are awful in general, but sometimes I get tired of kicking a city when it's been down for decades.

Tips for what? Most of us are customers on the TUSCL boards. There's some discussion threads around from past year on just about anything a customer would be looking for in clubs since a lot of the board regulars were/are sideline due to pandemic issues.

This club doesn't have metal detectors. At least they don't right now. Sugar's is the only club in San Antonio that uses one regularly, and it probably needs one at night. XTC could use one, too, but they have guards doing pat downs.
