Basic question for Snake: In the cities that Ricks has clubs in, would this(ose) club(s) be your go to choice? Realizing that Ens. pay isn't overly generous, I'll ask it another way: If you had a 7-figure net worth, would Ricks club(s) be your club of choice in any given city?

Timbo: Two items
1) Did you mean to say Christies Phoenix/Airport area? The last that I looked, Christies-Tempe was 1 story with a Ramada Inn and Waffle House next door. I have a vague recollection of seeing an elevator at 32nd St. location, everyone I saw just used the stairs.
2) Where in club did 4Play have elevator? In my 5 yrs of visiting club, I don't recall seeing anything remotely resembling an elevator anywhere on main floor. Unless there's a special entrance to the very back VIP area...........

+1 on kudos for new format/features. One thing that I like that nobody has mentioned is that reviewers have the number of reviews, and the number of different clubs they've reviewed- a good gauge for reviewer cred. Only downer is that several google map locations are misleading- showing club on wrong side of the street is common- in a few cases right at an intersection when its really a block north. Still need to look for the bright neon signs, lol.

Apparently, all those PHX miscreants haven't heard of "Sheriff Joe". I've been to Abco ( a recent shooting), and ttf's reviewed clubs. 10 in all. Not every club can be located near upscale car dealers like Babes.

For the most part, I deal with it. I've been admittedly spoiled by non-smoking rules in CA,and OH, plus some clubs in FL that chose to go non-smoking. Several of the smoking clubs I go to have a decent ventilation system. Cigar and pipe smoking don't bother me that much. Moving to another place in club is an option, but even that has limits. I'm not bashful about asking someone to move ashtray away from me. (IMO, someone who puts ashtray by a non-smoking patron, vs an empty spot on away side should not be allowed to breed). For staff smokers, I'm cutting less slack, as they should adapt to me. Really, a dancer should have some awareness of a customers smoking preference- a dancer who asks if I mind if she smokes probably won't be adaptive to me in the back. Thus, I feel no loss for saying that I do mind, and sending her on her way.

Club_Goer hit the nail on the head. To further elaborate, off means completely off. I've seen several dancers in topless clubs leave top (bra, midriff shirt, tanktop,etc) on, flashing tits only when tip is proferred. I'll make an exception in nude clubs only on the variation of still having a VERY SKIMPY micro-skirt or see thru negligee on with the bottoms clearly off. Some of those leave skirt or minidress still on- often it covers up something. Besides the attitude projected, leaving stuff on makes me wonder what shes hiding. Ditto for leg warmers.
It seems like some Atlanta clubs do indeed have the custom of requiring a minimum $ in tips before certain clothing comes off. I don't think Goldrush was like that, but 10-20 yrs back on Cheetah visits, I think it was cumulative tips $5 for top to come off, $10 for bottoms. A stripperweb dancer said Pink Pony was like that when she worked there.

Since I still "work for a living", night visits are most often done. When on vacation, outdoor activity preferences dictate likewise. Prior posters are spot on about day/night shift differences, though there are exceptions. (Most notably, 1 of lopaws fave clubs- I've seen virtually no quality dropoff between dayshift and nightshift there). I can appreciate the more casual, easier pace of daytime visits. In the last few years, I've cut back the number of SRO type peak night visits. To paraphrase a fishing t-shirt saying: "A bad stripclub visit is better than a good (fill in the blank)"...........

I'm guessing from OP's post that he's looking to do L.A. on the cheap. I have some ideas, but I'm a slow typist- to list them all here I'd want a generous LDU fee.
There's not much that I can add to what others have said about the clubs. I can say that car is a must for your ambitions. Avoid hotels near LAX on Century, as many charge $15/day and up to park there. There's no hotels in COI, you'd need to go several fwy exits away, if COI seems like your thing. Finally, the lower/mid-tier hotels (Holiday Inns, (dis)Comfort Inns, Days Inn, etc have free high speed internet, so you can jack off to porn if you run out of cash, or have a bad club visit.

Yes, sc, our expectations do go up over time. (If not our hard ons, lol). In my juvenille years, I'd get a rock hard boner within a nanosecond of opening a nudie mag at the newstand. Now, I glance over several offerings with nary a rise. Likewise, if you were to reglarly drive a Corvette ZR1 (638 hp), your Mustang would seem boring. Then again, taking a break from clubbing for a while may be a remedy. Some of my "better" visits have occured after a "dry spell". It often IS all in your head.

sc- Did you mean to say "The only w-a-y to fly"? Or to whimsically say "w-a-d"? I recall the later as being an advertising slogans for a certain LAX based airline in the 60's.

I've found that L.A. area clubs are amoung the weakest in stageside interaction. I have several midwest, FL, and TX clubs as a frame of reference. Why it is so is a "chicken or egg first" kind of question. Not sure whether its local ordinances, or so cal dudes ( and dudettes) think its uncool to hoot and holler stageside, or dancers don't interact stageside because "real" money is made in VIP. But, it is what it is, and yes, there is mileage to be had in So Cal.

steve- Yes, I mean individual club. Should have explained it better, but if you go to club after a 3-6 month absence, what % of original dancers are still there? If less than 50%, then one can infer that the majority of dancers leave after 6 mos, OR have danced at club 6 mos. or less.

In a field with an average turnover of 3-6 months, that is the oxymoron of the day. Yeah, in my clubbing career, I am aware of half a dozen or so instances where clubs had a pornstar as a house dancer. (If you want to define pornstar as anyone who is listed in iafd.com database). In most cases, dancer used just her first name, not whole "handle", so you really wouldn't know unless she (or someone else) told you. Not all were "regular", one would only show up at the end, or begining of month when bills were due. In L.A. area, 4Play, Bare Ellegance, and SR-COI have had pornstars at 1 time as house dancer. Happy hunting...

NEW YORK VS PITTSBURGH: No competition in quality and quantity of core city clubs (NY favor). As for long distance help, not much for outlying areas. Morgantown, WV?? Heard a few good things there, but nothing earth shattering. Far more NJ and CT suburb help. Maybe Akron, Eastern OH? Just as likely to have Browns fans as Steelers fans. No TD's for Pitt, not enough long FG's// JETS 20-9
GREEN BAY VS CHICAGO: Neither city is on a monger wish list, even though Chitown has 3 T100 clubs. I supppose Hammond, IN (Industrial Strip) might have some Bears fans. I've done composite review of multiple visits in one writeup several times. I feel visiting club different days/shifts adds perspective to review. I average the grades, but make comments on each visit. See my reviews of some FL or CA clubs last 2-3 yrs.
On dancer grades, I give range, and general prominence of dancers. (Eg, dancer attractivess 5-9, mostly 7ish).

pd82- I can't tell whether you're sore at being out the cost of brand new panties, or you're fishing for revenue stream ideas. I'm not into buying worn stripper clothing ( not my fetish).
Did you ever consider that not wearing any panties in club, with a short microskirt might make you look sexier, and thus likely to sell more dances/ VIP's? I know several dancers (un)dressed like that have got my attention.

Dt- Consider that in 2008 election, ~ 48% of participating voters were willing to trust ( gamble??) a female being within a heartbeat of the presidency.
Myself- I've had a few routine visits with a female doctor, no problems/issues. In real estate, banking/finance can find many females- two in particular could readily grasp/empathize with my circumstances. Contact with female lawyers, not so up to speed for particular field of expertise.
If I were to choose someone for a critical medical operation or legal case, I'd be damn nervous about choosing a lot of male professionals, and would dig deeper than their gender in making the yes/no decision.

GREEN BAY VS ATLANTA- A low mileage city with few stripclubs (3) vs a low mileage city with a lot of stripclubs (37). Cheeseheads vs Cheetah Girls portends Atlanta edge in time of possesion. Neither city had any clubs in T100, though I know Atlanta had at least 1 in T100 in the past, maybe 3. Not high scoring, but enough to score// FALCONS 17-3
SEATTLE VS CHICAGO- Ugh, 2 cities low on nearly every stripclub hounds wish list. Re- number of threads from area club goers asking for road trip advice. Surprisingly, Chicago area clubs have 3 in T100 ( weighing in at #'s 19, 77, and 85). Quantity over quality, best of bad bunch, etc. Then again, could say the same thing about long distance help from Portland, OR rankings. Ricks- Seattle being taken down by LE implies the margin of victory will be a Safety in a low scoring game// BEARS 11-9
