One thing I liked about Hustler in Lincoln park and Penthouse in Detroit is they had elevators to get to the second floor. This is useful for the lazy/handicap/obese/drunk people.
Christy's Cabaret in Tempe, AZ; 4Play in Los Angeles. Several of the clubs in Dallas and Houston are two story, so I presume they have an elevator in the club. Is anyone going to choose a club based on whether or not they have an elevator?
Maybe there should be a checkbox under club info if that club has an elevator.
I was at Christies cabaret in cleveland, which is ranked in the top 10 for best dancer quality and best physical club...It was two stories but I did not see an elevator.
I also remember Flight Club used a popular club for the physical beauty inside the club but when I went it felt outdated since it did not have an elevator like the sister club Penthouse Detroit. Maybe the casino renovations will add an elevator.
There is also Vanity here in Columbus that has an upstairs skybox but it has no elevator. Just a flight of stairs and when I got a look at the skybox and it looked more like a closet than some fancy VIP room.
Bazooka's in KC has an elevator(and an escalator), but the second floor is adult video rentals and arcade - not actually part of the club. I guess if you didn't get a happy ending downstairs....
I thought the Lumber Yard in Des Moines had one, but it's been awhile since I've been there, so I could be wrong. It's three levels so they should have one.
There's an elevator at Broadway Showgirls in San Francisco that's used to get to the second floor VIP rooms. For moving people up one floor it's not very fast, and to be honest the VIP dances are not worth the trip. I've always wondered what would happen if the elevator got stuck. She's the employee of the club, it's her job to make sure I'm as comfortable as possible in that stressful situation! The reality would be that I would probably have to pay for my "1 on 1" time with her!
Rick's in New York has one. It is sometimes good for a little snuggle time on the way to VIP. The same is true of Scarlett's, or whatever it is called today, in New Orleans. But there is a Lot to be said for following a dancer up stairs.
Timbo: Two items
1) Did you mean to say Christies Phoenix/Airport area? The last that I looked, Christies-Tempe was 1 story with a Ramada Inn and Waffle House next door. I have a vague recollection of seeing an elevator at 32nd St. location, everyone I saw just used the stairs.
2) Where in club did 4Play have elevator? In my 5 yrs of visiting club, I don't recall seeing anything remotely resembling an elevator anywhere on main floor. Unless there's a special entrance to the very back VIP area...........
Several along Bourbon Street in New Orleans have elevators. Newmark correctly identifies Rick's. Also Hustler Barley Legal, Hustler, Deja Vu, Temptations, Scarlett's, all (I think) have elevators. It's more a function of the architectural necessity -- skinny tall buildings smashed up next to each other in the old-European-central-city style French Quarter location.
Generally, the elevator rises with the prices and amenities. For example: Top floor $1000 an hour, couch rooms, includes private restroom, valet, lockable doors, several flat screens, billiards table, constant champagne fountain; middle floor $500 an hour, includes private couches in single-sized large-couch rooms; first floor up $300 for half-hour, includes cubicles with love seats; main floor $40 a song, in an easy chair.
I thought the elevator at 4Play was right next to the stairs. I guess I could be distracted though. On the other hand, there is probably some CA law making sure all VIP rooms are accessible to wheelchairs. One upstairs experience at 4Play was enough, I won't be back.
Correction: Christies cabaret in cleveland does have an elevator but it is off to the far end of the club and did not see anyone use it except for myself and the dancer I was with.
How about stairs vs. elevators? I would enjoy following a dancer up stairs rather than stand with her in an elevator. However, privacy might be the deciding factor.

I say to hell with elevators, put in slides.

Girls like it as it saves them tripping down the stairs in their heels I guess. As a customer I'm OK with the stairs.
