M7- So how is your marathon training coming along ? Dude, I've read your reviews, including an earlier one at BSC whereby you had a payment issue there, and ran out of the club. This seems to be a recurring problem for you. Issue seems to be running out of cash and not fully keeping track of things. If you're down to your last $100, Situational Awareness 101 should dictate that you don't buy a string of dances with a new found hottie at $20/pop without making an ATM run. I'm with rick in that you should lay low at this club, and reassess your clubbing habits. Habitually stiffing people and running isn't conducive to long term club enjoyment.

OT- High End Steak Restaurants, Worth It?
Fellas, thanks for all the cliff notes. For midrange places, Longhorn has often been more convenient for me. I've been basically happy with Flos Filet option, though one place seemed to habitually undercook the salmon when I took the surf n' turf option. For more localized chains- haven't been to Texas Land and Cattle in a while, but was basically happy with it. For the more localized midrange place, a long ago Tuscl review actually put me on to a place that I've had the best London Broil (sliced strips, not the thick slab you get in some grocery stores) anywhere. It's Loehmanns(sp??) tavern in Essington PA, near PHL airport and ~3-4 blocks from Lou Turks stripclub

Judging from OP prose, I'd say he already knows the answer. Even if he was smoking a bunch of weed just prior to posting.

    Credit Cards
I strive to avoid 2 things in a stripclub: 1) Using my credit card 2) Using ATM card for a cash withdraw. On the former, clubs often tack on a 10% or more fee when using credit card to pay for VIP rooms. For drink or dinner tabs, they'll often insist on taking your license and running a scan (or at least making a copy of it.) I put up with this just once many years ago. IMO, that's too much of a bullshit hassle just to save some cash burn. By contrast, I've had fine steak eateries and auto repair shops take my card for a solid 3 figure tab without batting an eyelash. With very few exceptions, stripclub ATM fees are steep, almost always north of $5, often around $10. I balked at paying 1 clubs $20 fee when a "kindly" bouncer steered me towards a nearby convenience store ATM.

There's been many good choices posted here. I'll throw out "Good Morning Vietnam" as another worthy consideration. Although not entirely comedic, whimsical, or lighthearted, it has enough Robin Williams schtick to keep the humor rolling along. "This will not look good on my resume" is one of many RW one-liners.

    Scary
So if 10% of club patrons are on mental illness medications does that mean that 90% are walking around untreated ? When I read OP, I thought back to a towelette cover from "Hooters" saying something like 58% of statistics are made up.

@goldmonger, motorhead: As I best recall, Tanga had a fire sometime in 1999. It didn't burn down to the ground, but it was closed for several months. I think sometime after 2003 is when they widened Rt60/ Courtney Campbell Causeway. Another casualty was a pretty good Mexican restaurant near the club.

How many "10" s do you see in the strip club?
rockstar- Can you honestly tell the difference between a MS64 and MS65 with the naked eye ? The price difference between the 2 can buy a lot of VIP's depending upon which pieces you're talking about. How about you posting some pics from G4 to MS70 strippers for us to utilize when rating dancer attractiveness. Also curious what your minimum standards would be. Would a EF40 be OK, but a VF30 no go ? Or are you a MS60 and above only kind of guy ?

Why more couples are having date nights at the strip club.
I have a story that can top the original article. (See my early 2014 review of Mons Venus). Basically, "Casanova" bought his date (don't know if she was his wife, GF, mistress, or a hired hooker) to watch a few stage shows. His date was hotter than most of the dancers in the already hot club.(Late afternoon/early evening visit.) While I got a dance with a hot blonde, this couple and a dancer took a spot on the wall couch nearby. Both the dancer and his "date" stripped down (date wasn't wearing any underwear) and gave him a series of nude lapdances.

How many "10" s do you see in the strip club?
Like farmerart, I'm reluctant to get down in the weeds too much to assign a grade to the nearest decimal point. Nor jot down a list of "99 things that can prevent a dancer from being a 10." That said, I saw at least a pretty darn near 10 at a recent club visit to Dancers-Indy. One thing a 10 must do is turn my head from across the room in "civilian clothing." I first noticed her from across the far side of the club, wearing an evening gown. Her stage served to reinforce my initial impression, as it did for nearly every swinging dick in the club as they flocked to her stage like metal chips drawn to a magnet. Although I arbitrarily gave her a 9.5 in my review (10 about as rare as a rainbow colored unicorn, ya know), she did stand out as the most gorgeous dancer I'd seen in a while. I'll mention something nobody else has yet: TATS! My view on this is my willingness to award a 10 to a dancer that sprouts anything more than a discrete butterfly tat is about on the same level as my willingness to buy a Ferrari festooned with bumper stickers. I recall a visit ~ 8 years ago at Bourbon Street Circus- Phoenix, where I could have sworn I saw a couple of 10's dancing a double for a table nearby me. (No, I hadn't consumed much alcohol, I barely got into my 1st drink.) One of the pair was perfect, short/medium hair, 5'7ish, petite/athletic build, nice pert natural breasts that rickdugan could love.). Then she turned a bit, and I noticed a sleeve tat. I'd still buy dances/VIP's from her, but sleeve tat shot down a 10 grade for me. @jayhawk- Her name is spelled Christie, and yes I "managed" to get some dances with her. She was the last 10 (or near 10) I saw prior to recent Indy trip. @rickdugan- One of the 10's that I can still recall over 10 years later was at the Lodge. However, she had enhanced boobs, so that would be DQ for you.

    Strip club costs
"All it takes is one good stripper". That oft repeated quote may well be applicable to the $100-$200 crowd. Not everyone goes for a 2-4 hr. or so visit. Some folks may have a limited lunch hour, have a flight to catch, or otherwise have time constrictions. So, 5-6 lapdances (for $20 per song or less) with the right dancer may be a satisfactory attitude adjustment for some. That said, there are some clubs that I cannot envision visiting for 2 hours and NOT spend at least $200.

    Stripper cliques.
SC- Interesting subject, though I'll confess one that I haven't given too much attention to as I'm mainly concentrating on finding dancers who can provide me with the most enjoyment, regardless of who they may or may not be friends with. That said, I have very rarely seen more than 3 dancers congregating together at any one time. What I've most often seen are tag teams, whereby one weak, or otherwise mediocre dancer teams up with a hottie in hopes of getting some of hotties customers. No thanks, I want the hottie only. I did note on my last winter FL visit that the dancers who spent a lot of time (compared to other dancers) talking to management/staff (shift manager, floor host, etc) when compared to other dancers were the ones with the weakest mileage, or bitchiest personality.

What policy\rule makes you never go back to a club?
gmd and art beat me to it- ID scanning is a non starter for me. As for mandatory valet parking: If a rental car, OK, but if its my own car, particularly if I've got some luggage or other personal items, its "TBNT".
