OT: Winning ticket for Mega Millions jackpot sold in New Jersey
Fellas- I just surfed a few lotto related websites, here are some number crunches I came up with: Odds of winning grand prize ~ 1 in 302 million Odds of winning $1M 2nd prize~ 1in 12 million Odds of winning any mega millions prize~ 1 in 24. Annuity option pays ~ 1.5% of grand prize in first year, with incremental increases each year culminating in ~ 6.1% of grand prize in 30th year (29 years after win). For this $521M grand prize, 1st year annuity would pay ~ $7.8M with incremental increases to ~ $31.7M in 30th year. (Do you think the suspense would kill them ?) If $317M cash lump sum option is chosen, winner should probably plan on clearing around $160M or so (NJ is a high tax state). Shoot, even staggered term short CD's averaging 1% rate would still pay $1.6M/yr. gross. Think you could hack that ?

    Shadow's New Whip....
The Recarro (sp??) seats and I don't get along that well. If I find one with regular leather seats in Highland Green (Black looks wicked on Mustang, but this IS supposed to be Bullitt , nothing but HG will do), I just might bite. Then again, I sometimes see some leftover 17, even 16 Shelby GT350's with regular leather seats.......

    OT: Annuities ?
There seems to be a lot of people out there eager to sell annuities to you and me. That means that it must be good for the seller(s), but not necessarily that good, or even good for you and me. @D-lac- That was a weak example you gave- essentially saying that buying annuity is good mainly if buyer times purchase just prior to a large drop in the market. That means that those who buy at other times will get hosed to make up for those down year losses.

Founder - trust counts don't add up.
sc: You actually counted them? You must have been real bored. I suspect the extra counts are due to the club reviews of author that were propped in the old days added on to the number of member trusts.

Anywhere in the USA on any given day
Going to Clubs on off days--early in the week.
I favor the 1st week half nights (Su - Wed, except when there is a home game during the football season). I don't enjoy SRO crowds that much, and sometimes all it takes is one dancer to make the night. Really, I go when the itch strikes regardless of time or day. When I go on weekend nights, I strive to arrive and leave early. I have non-clubbing agendas most afternoons. Day shift can vary greatly depending on club. I found Bare Elegance- LAX to have not much dancer attractiveness difference between day and night shift. Men's Club Dallas didn't have too much a drop off, particularly during a lunch or buffet special. Many clubs can be hit or miss, but again if you find the right dancer the more relaxed atmosphere can be worthwhile.

D300- Instead of throwing such a broad, open ended question at us, how about letting us know what your preferences are for a good club visit ? ( Nudity? Alcohol ? Availability of extras ? Eye candy only ok ? etc, etc) I suppose that I could scroll through your reviews to get an idea of how I should tailor my response to your question, but I'm too damn lazy to do so.

    Tax Season
I'll paraphrase here what I've posted in several prior tax threads: 1) To those getting a refund- Congratulations! How does it feel to give Uncle Sam an interest free loan for the past year ? 2) To those having to write out a check this year: Congratulations! (*) Hope you either had a lot of fun, or made out on your investments with the extra money you didn't pay Uncle Sam last year. (*) #2 comes with the caveat that you didn't underpay by more than 10%, otherwise you'll have to pay a penalty in addition to the taxes owed.

Can you guys tell a girl is a dancer outside of the club?
As shadowcat says. I'll turn pd's question around to "if you've seen some dancers walk into club in their street clothes, would you peg them as being a dancer?" In the case of dancers with "normal" build (no enhancement) and no visible ink, I'd say the answer would be no. All the same, I'd never walk up to a total stranger, and ask them if they're a dancer. But the things that shadowcat mentioned does make me wonder.

    The rule of 3
I'll introduce another rule of 3: The 3 Tuscler Rule. That rule says that if 3 Tusclers get together, and 2 agree on something, the 3rd will have the polar opposite opinion. Two guys say that a club is great, the 3rd guy will say that it sucks. Two guys say that a dancer is hot, the 3rd will say she's a ROB or Ice Princess. If any pinkies are reading this, there is a similar "3 Dancer Rule."

@sundance- Chalk up another object lesson in the school of hard knocks. Don't go for pricey upfront VIP unless you are familiar with dancer and have a good level of confidence in the satisfaction she delivers. May I suggest you submit a review of BDD, listing all the details you can recall (drink/cover prices, dancer attractiveness, crowd level, etc) and outing the ROB if you can recall her name/physical description.

    Native American dancers
Over the years, I've ran into several in CA, AZ, NM, FL, IN, offhand. I'm guessing dancers have been anywhere from 25% to 100% Native American, mostly around 50%. They've been better than average, IME.
