Questions for the Detroit Strip Club Cognoscenti
@Papi- I've met EC, he doesn't strike me as being Ivy League. Nah, he just figured cognoscenti would be easier to spell than connoisseur.

@Random- Instead of chiding people for "hijacking" thread, how about chiding OP for misleading thread title. Perhaps he should have titled it "Bitcoin Investing: An Exercise In Onanism And Sarcasm."

    Retirement
Repeating from a prior post wrt Chaindog: He has a damn good pension, insofar as percentage of income replacement that is virtually unmatched in the private sector outside of the "C-suite". I'm guessing he's LEO, given the low (59) life expectancy in his line of work. It appears that working a few more years would significantly increase his pension for every additional year beyond what he already has. I'm guessing he has ~25 years in which had a 2.2% pension multiplier, with each additional year beyond 25 yielding a 2.5% multiplier per each additional year. I'm guessing CD is in his late 40's or early 50's. Longevity statistics can be misleading as Leo's killed in the line of duty can lower the life expectancy statistics. If someone is already 50 and still alive, I figure he'd live several years past 59 to balance out the younger killed on duty statistics.

slip a dollar in her g-string for me
    Ignore feature
I really don't see a compelling reason to publish an ignore list numbers or names. if founder truly has a bug to try some new website gimmick, then just publish numbers. Sheesh, clubber getting crotchety in his senior years. Several that he has on ignore, I don't see why. Londonguy??? He's one of the more levelheaded members around. Some of the others can be opinionated, long winded, or both. But several of the others don't engage in personal attacks, or spam the board.

slip a dollar in her g-string for me
    Ignore feature
My initial inclination is a flat "no." I think CMI's compromise of showing number of ignores, but not who is ignoring who would be a good one. I'd be curious to hear what prompted founder to float this notion.

    Who the fuck is Ninabambina?
Ok 10 questions answered on the thread I started long ago. Finally.
Nina- Thanks for the replies. What is the difference between the GMAT and LSAT that makes the former more challenging ? Is it the greater scope of subject matter covered, or the same subjects at a more advanced level ? Some real life "data points": Just prior to acceptance at the college I graduated from 4 decades or so ago, I took the ACT test. I aced the math, getting the max score of 36. (I scored in the low 20's in English.) On a recent 2am web surfing session, I took an online (supposedly) 8th grade proficiency math test. I scored 80% on that, passing grade but nowhere near as stellar as my performance over 4 decades ago. I did well on algebra and some trig portions, but stumbled on some esoteric geometric area calculations, and certain definitions. I did a good deal of the former in my professional life, but I long ago "data dumped" a lot of stuff that I had little use for. (Wtf do I care what a trapezoid or rhombus is, or what kind of number negative 1 is, or the square root of negative 1). Don't let this personal anecdote distract you from your degree track.

    Question for dancers ?
T23- My post appears to have sailed right over your head. I was being sarcastic. When I posted, I had no real knowledge of (nor do I care) about your present marital status. Ditto for how much you spend, and what you spend it on. Given that this is a board full of horndogs, I'm hesitant to make or express moral judgements. Something about throwing rocks from glass houses. Hell, I don't know for sure that you're an Army Officer. Having said all this, I still can't picture a Colonel coming on a monger board to "humble brag." I can picture one checking out the reviews, but keeping a low profile. You don't need me to tell you that promotion boards don't just ask if they can see a guy being promoted to the next grade, but if they can picture the guy being in the grade or 2 ABOVE the grade being considered. As for humble brag, the Tuscl member who was best at it was "farmerart" (RIP). By all accounts he was a bona fide tycoon, yet he mastered the art of humble bragging without seeming too full of himself down cold.

    Coming down....
One of the first things I do upon getting to my car is write down some crib notes on hotel notepad (costs, dancer descriptions, etc) while my memory is still fresh for tuscl review. Since I go for recreation, and not making a living (gotta make "x"$$ this shift, or else), I don't experience the highs and letdowns to the degree that many dancers do.

    Sugaring per SW
@ shailynn- Where did you get your 8% figure from on over $100K income people ? Just for grins, I typed in the $100K question into search engine. One source cites a 2013 US Census Data figure of 20% of US HOUSEHOLDS making $100K or more income. Undoubtedly, some of those households needed 2 earners filing joint income return to crack the $100K figure. Although husband may not make $100K in his job, he may well feel the same as a single guy making $100K. Add in the probable number of illicit unreported incomes making over $100K, and the number of "household units" walking into club making $100K or more could be more like 25%, or 1 in 4 club customers. I was also directed to a quora.com site which stated that 8.5% of INDIVIDUAL workers made $100K or more. I wonder if they considered retirees with a 6-figure pension (or pension plus Social Security plus 401K withdrawals) as part of their study ? The actual number of strip club patrons above $100K may very well be a bit above that 8.5% figure. So called studies have enough Swiss Cheese holes in them to lean on too heavily for surgical precision accuracy. What really matters to strippers is your willingness to spend the money that you bring to a club that night.

    New Dancer Directory
Agree with shadowcat that it is unusable in present form. Suggest that it be organized by state, followed by Oconus, and further subdivided by alphabetical order. As it stands now, I'm guessing that the most recent dancer log-ins are put to the front of the line as the order seems to be constantly changing every time I view it.

Fellas, thanks for the replies. Skibum, I don't need a stinkin' lawyer to tell me how to prioritize my financial affairs. For some perspective, put the following in your pipe and smoke it: Me trying to save 100 bucks or so would be equivalent to several bottom tier Fortune 500 corporations trying to save "$5 million or so." Do you honestly believe that a major corporation would forego an opportunity to save $5-10M per year in supplier, leasing, or employee costs ?
