In essence, day shift at a club is like going to a simple restaurant with some girls you could mess around with. Most clubs in my area will serve at least hot dogs and fries. Maybe you get a snack and a beer, don't see anyone to your liking... It was a low risk venture, come back again in a few days... Get another beer. That is another reason why in the reviews you often see mention of some bored locals just sitting around. Maybe for some, waiting in a Strip club for the first couple of girls to show up, is better than yet another day alone (or being nagged by the wife)

Sometimes there is no DJ on day shift... It helps contribute to a relaxing vibe to not be forced to listen to their patter

There is no cover fee for day shift at any of my local clubs. Another inducement if you like to pop into a club often for quickies.

Subraman, Charlotte only has a modest night club scene - clubs often do last call around 1:30AM and all booze must be consumed by 2:30AM. Liquor control is one thing clubs take seriously and waitresses begin grabbing unfinished drinks...

I have been experimenting with ultra-late-night (after 1 am) and it has some of the dayshift dynamic... Club gets empty, girls are more willing to haggle, and more willing to let me mess up their hair and mascara lol. I have gone home, gotten a little sleep, then left for the club. You also can be a freshly showered and clean shaven looking guy in comparison to the scruffy drunks already there.

Dayshift also tends to have patient women that do not mind spending long periods of time conversing with lonely men. They are often older dancers that don't want to work the pole anymore.

20 years ago I had a temp job at IBM. Everybody had internet and yeah I had boring days with nothing to do... Was a moderator on an escort review site. I rationalized at the time the company was too huge to monitor everything. I would not risk that now... Monitoring is much more sophisticated.

Dancers do seem to price on merit and rate their customers, to some degree. For example a few nights ago a dancer invited me to the VIP room for $10 under the house price - she admitted she was just rounding up business since the club was slow, and only a few guys remained.
But she told me she would not make this deal to her "regular" who was still at the bar, and to keep quiet. He was kind of a poorly groomed, sloppily dressed guy, older than me. I was in "lapping attire" but clean shaven, recently showered. I'm sure if he was a whale paying double or triple, it would have tipped this scales the other way. But when the differences in opportunity are modest, money that can be pleasantly earned may be more preferable to a stripper.

I didn't care for 80s music much as a teenager but I can appreciate it more today for nostalgia. It's odd today how often 80s is used as background music in stores... I was not hearing 50s music in the background during the 1980s!

I was in a local dive a few nights ago... A guy walked in with a brick of singles, threw it at a dancer's ass and they splattered all over the stage, tables, chairs. The DJ asked customers to stay seated while the available girls and the owner cleaned the room. It was an odd irony that the girls in VIP were preoccupied and could not help out. :-/

Just my own hunch, but I think pacing factors into things... I like to not be a horndog right out of the gate, if I sound anxious or impatient then she could sense she has a hook in me, and the price could be higher. But I certainly agree that guys who spends months cultivating an ITC "relationship" in the attempt to "pop the question" merely train the stripper to view you as someone she can keep ITC. Sort of like being friend-zoned in real life.
I will check in with this chick again by month end... everyone has either rent or a mortgage to pay. Suggest to her that daytime meetings are good for me (I can work from home some days and I have some unused vacation). She will probably like that, as most guys would prefer to meet in the evenings after work hours.

When I used to visit hostess clubs, I could jizz in my pants within 4-5 songs. I liked standing up and grinding on the dance floor to the music. It also give me a head rush, and part of the fun was suddenly feeling dizzy and clasping the dancer to remain standing, haha
I have not actually nutted yet inside a strip club. Dancers have their own rhythm which isn't quite like mine. And so far the ones I encounter in N.C. clubs seem to fall into two groups... they get me hard and merely keep me there to extend the dance time, or the opposite ... mash their asses in a blotting "put the fire out" kind of way when an erection begins.

Age demographics are an underlying part of the problem. Each year, clubs need more Gen-X aged guys to enter and support the industry. We simply are not as numerous as the boomers. Also, try typing "Generation X" into a news search engine... Most of the recent articles about us center on lack of savings, and how little prepared we are for retirement.
There will be a new economic equilibrium somewhere. But my area certainly has fewer clubs today than 8 years ago.

I got to discussing this a bit with a 30ish dancer who has been at it for a decade. She agreed that the work changes, that it becomes more important to cultivate regulars and guide them into conversations. 40ish ladies end up on the day shift, consoling lonely men... But she assured me she could still climb the pole now and wanted to earn money from dancing.
I also got the impression she was making some tradeoffs to have more reliable income and support a child. It was better to know regulars at a small club than to work a large one for strangers and have highly variation night-to-night in income.
