Good review and thanks for the update!
I also haven't been to this club in a long time, for the same reasons you listed. I agree with Mondays being the only day really worth it for the ROI. Sucks because this club was also my go to before 'the switch' and all the girls became mercenaries for tips even before any dancing took place.

Cristobal the jacuzzi thing is an excellent suggestion and one I have never seen before. And now that I think of it, only one of my chicas was willing to use it with me. No surprise she was the most fun out of the five girls I went arriba with on that trip.
But now that Tahoe brings it up, I can see why a lot of girls aren't down with it. It takes them a bit of time to do their makeup and hair right and they don't wanna mess that up in a jacuzzi. In the shower they probably just angle the water to not hit their face and use the shower cap.

On my trip last year I had to withdraw some money, but I wanted American dollars. I went to some ATM machines on the back alley kinda near the convenience store. All I can say is, use those at your own risk. I didn't mind the fee. What I DID mind were two of the twenty dollar bills being totally useless because they were taped together. If they were taped evenly I wouldn't have minded. But it looked like two totally different torn bills taped together. So no store would have accepted it. It wasn't a bank so I had no one to complain to. I had to just eat the loss like a true PL.
From now on for me it's ATM on the USA side or nothing.

My first and only experience at HK was last year and like you it wasn't the fairy tale that other people wrote about. But also like you there were a lot of great parts and memories. The main thing is we have that first experience under our belt so next time we know what to expect and what to do/not to do.
Would you be open to accepting some medicinal help from the little blue pill? For my time there, which was 3 days, 2 nights, stamina was not an issue thanks to that 'help'. I visited the pharmacia a couple blocks away and was able to buy generic sildenafil, 10 pills for $13. I cut the pill in half and it was still effective for a long time. They also sell the pills in the bathroom at the club but those are pretty expensive at about $10/pill.
And Papi is right about the prices. It's generally $80 for 30 minutes right now, but that's actually trending towards $100 for 30 minutes being the norm for a lot of women now.
Other than that, I'd say try to stay overnight and rent a room so you can try multiple women and not feel rushed.

Depends on the club/area. In Santa Clara County in the Bay Area you best be keeping your hands to the side. And it is NOT common for the dancer to put your hands on her body because it is against the rules.
In SF once again it depends on the club and the area you're in. In the topless SF clubs on the floor it is not common for the dancer to put your hands on boobs/ass. In the VIP, maybe. In the nude clubs is where the practice is common enough. Like Shadowcat says, money talks. I'm sure those dancers realized that by taking your hands and putting them on her boobs or ass she has a better chance of getting you hooked to get more money out of you via more dances or VIP.
Both parties are thinking of two different parts of this sentence: I'll encourage him to touch my boobs and ass to get more money out of him. The PL is only thinking of that first part "she's encouraging me to touch her, she's gonna be a lot of fun". While the dancer is thinking "I'm about to get all kinds of money out of this guy". As long as the situation stays in the middle of the tug of war I think it's ok for both parties.

@Papi those aren't actual reviews that CMI is referencing. He just used a exaggerated yet funny example of reviews of US clubs vs TJ clubs. Folks do seem to write Papi esque reviews whenever they hit up HK. Yet a ton of reviews of US clubs get flagged by Clubber for only having 6 lines of text. You hardly ever see TJ reviews get the downvote from Clubber for length.

I give light coaching, but only after the 1st dance. Like Paul, I see what their general style is, then maybe decide to coach from there. If there's a lot of air dancing and position switching I don't bother coaching and usually don't bother with another dance. The stuff I want is so different from what they do normally that I don't think my requests will be welcomed by the dancer.
The ones I DO coach are the ones who do good, long grinding, and allow good contact. That shows me they're up for a good time and all I have to do is cue them in to my favorite positions. These are my favorite type of dancers.

@joewebber I think any PL on these forums who wears pajama bottoms, sweatpants, or any other thin type of pants/shirts isn't gonna be shy about approaching the dancer he wants and asking for dances.
For me, I've noticed it doesn't matter what I'm wearing. Since I'm black I just don't get approached as often as other races, simple as that. As I've said before, I've been to the club with both my Asian and white friend, dressed in the same slacks and dress shirt as they were. And in all instances, the girls approached the Asian guy first, my white friend second, and me last. If it's me there in shorts and then an older white guy there in shorts, the older white guy gets approached first. I think even if I had been wearing slacks and a dress shirt, that older white guy in shorts still would have been approached first.
So I'm passed the waiting on getting approached bit. I see who I like and approach her, thin shorts and all. They never turn me down, but I can quickly see in one dance or two if she's down for some serious grinding into LDK action or not.
And like Papi said earlier, if she doesn't approach then maybe it shows what kind of dancer she is (not up for some real fun). At that point we're better off not even testing them out to see if they're worth spending long term money on.
As for the urgent situation thing, that's happened to me exactly zero times in over ten years of clubbing. And if it did happen, I'm not worried about what I'm wearing at that point. It would just be a sea of PLs inside/outside a strip club, simple as that.
