None of the clubs I worked was this a thing. You are only expected to tip if you were at the stage. (And if you don’t plan to tip then you shouldn’t sit by the stage you should sit farther away so others can tip.)
Personally if it’s the norm for where you are at I’d just give only a single dollar if you aren’t wanting to actually tip but feel obliged. As long as you didn’t sit at the stage and watch I don’t see that as rude. You could also maybe try to go dip into the bathroom to avoid the girls. If it’s really busy your absence will likely not be noticed.

@2Icee but hotels are so expensive right now. So that’s crazy to me that that’s their method.
I have a hotel booked in July and it’s going to cost me for two nights almost 500$! That’s almost my mortgage payment.

That’s always been more my style so I’m ready for a lot of that stuff to come back. (Flare leg or boot cut jeans are what I’m hoping for again mostly. I despise skinny jeans.)

Most got regular jobs. Some had sugar daddies though.
I know one girl who did onlyfans and she’s made a lot on it. Frankly it’s what I’m about to try. Though I’m not expecting much from it but who knows maybe I won’t do too bad with it.

Well I quite the club I had been working on and off cause of a coworker (not dancer) that kept costing me money. I grew fed up with it so now I’m looking for a new place to make hopefully the same or more at. But I’m also having to drive farther now. So that’s different.
I’m also in the process of making an onlyfans, something I never thought I would do but times are tough.
Besides work changes I’m doing a little travel for some competitions. I wanted to plan a big trip to go mining various places but prices on everything (mainly gas and hotels. Plus leaving the club I was at) ruined those plans.

Every woman's local ATM while in da club? How else they paying for their Boob jobs?
I would say both, its rude of the person receiving and also if you can't keep their attention maybe you are not as skilled as you think.

@shailynn has it exactly right with covid clubs seem to either have way too many customers and not enough girls or too many girls and not enough customers (or simply not enough actual paying customers )
And unfortunately its been very cut throat in clubs as a result.
I'm actually on the verge to find a new place to work at cause of such attitudes. I don't know if maybe its me or what but the club I am at now it feels like everyone's been in a foul mood. (I haven't been the most perky because of slow business either so I get it. But I try.)
Girls have moved in on customers like vultures the moment you get on stage at my club you can basically kiss your customer good bye. (at least right now) Now other places I have worked at I have had no problem coming back to that customer after getting off stage and if there was a girl there we would either all chit chat together or if I felt my time was expired and the customer no longer wanted to converse with me and wanted to solo chat I would excuse myself. If the girl was not wishing me there (even though I was there originally and likely had been chatting with that customer all night or for sometime. I like to enjoy conversation with someone and will always return if I was enjoying my time with them.) I will excuse myself and wait for the customer to either call for me when I walk by or for them to come to me. I don't fight over customers and I always tell whomever I am chatting with that I take no offense if they would like to get a dance with someone else. Variety is the spice of life after all. I have even many times asked customers if anyone had caught there fancy and that I would be more then willing to find them and send them their way. (this usually makes a good time for both the customers and the dancer that it helps.)
I think things are more enjoyable for everyone when you scratch each others backs rather than be catty towards one another. So I generally try to avoid conflict and try to be nice towards everyone even if they are not towards me.

I think @ElDuderino_AZ is probably right with this scenario after reading that little bit of info of the story. I would also like to add she may have been worried about management or bouncers nagging them if the guy seemed to be enjoying himself. (Not sure a better way to word that) Or she may simply wanted more privacy knowing he was nearing a happy ending or already had.
I also agree a dancer shouldn't continuously nag about getting a VIP or any other service with a customer when they have been declined. ( They should also be upfront on what the customer is getting out of the service before the customer pays)
All that said right now a lot of people simply are cheap. Holidays coming up people tend to be more tight with money. I also feel COVID hasn't helped any. Prices have gone up for a lot of things and so I feel people just cant afford to spend what they used to so leisurely.
The club I am currently at I've seen a major decline in. (and an increase of girls working. Which is great for customers but not so much for a dancer trying to pay bills.) This place and well any club I have ever worked I usually get no less then 20$ on stage even if its really dead. But a few weeks back I walked off with only 9$ and the place had more customers then girls in it. (about 8 girls at the moment and roughly 20 customers) I received the vast majority of that from a single person. And it wasn't just me that wasn't getting tipped either. That was the higher end of what girls were walking off the stage with for several hours that night. We didn't get any customers there that would actually tip till almost midnight. (though that night even then the tipping was still horrid compared to normal.)
Actually that night I ended up sitting/laying on the stage for half of my last set and just waved my arms as my "dance." I wasn't in the best mood that night and a fight was waiting to break out possibly beside the stage so no one was watching me and I wasn't dancing for nothing. The staff got a good laugh out of my "dance" and helped lighten the mood some for everyone else cause I wasn't the only one feeling less than satisfied with how the night was going.
Even good tippers who are regulars the last few visit they had tipped less then normal. So this seems to be an unfortunate trend. I hope come January we will see things start to turn around.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
Hmmm this was pretty interesting to read. I haven't ran into any Cuban dancers, but there is a British girl who works from time to time at the club I am working currently ( Though I am not sure for how much longer I will be there.) We have had a few other girls come in that were from other places as well but they clearly had been living in the states for sometime now though.

Sounds like you are too stuck on 1 to give anyone else a real chance and things with 1 are too toxic to ever be “a happy ending”

First off holy cow this thread.
That being said, to op... I was in a dark place as a teenager. My home life wasn’t well and I had terrible anxiety. I did physical activities and went to friends houses as often as I could to try and cope but it wasn’t enough. I tried to get help on my own but since I wasn’t 18 I couldn’t see a psychiatrist/psychologists without parental permission and my parents thought it was all fake and a joke. (Even though my general dr even told them I had sever anxiety.) I had to wear a heart monitor at one point because it was causing my heart to race causing chest pains. I faked puking in the bathroom and faked a fever just to skip school so I could be alone and de stress. I spent many times just laying in the nurses office with the lights off to calm down because I would get so physically ill from it. I needed help and I tried to get it but was denied. I even at one point became obsessive about my weight, not because I thought I was fat, but because I needed to feel in control of something, anything and that was the only thing I felt I could control at the time. It was unhealthy how bad my anxiety was effecting my life. I made the plan to end it all one day. I was going to slit my wrists in the tub before anyone else got home. My friends had stopped talking with me for the most part and I felt all alone with no hope. I just wanted it to end. Just before I cut up the river my cat insisted I let her in the bathroom. She wouldn’t stop clawing at the door. And she is the only reason I stopped. I decided I couldn’t just leave her behind. She would be abused if I left her alone and I couldn’t allow that to happen. Very few people know of this time in my life. I don’t really talk about it.
Things have gotten a lot better since then. My anxiety is soooo much better and no where near that crippling. In fact it’s pretty rare that it gets bad at all now.
I cut a lot of toxic people out of my life and focused on my own happiness and doing the things I love.

Yep I have a few regular customers like this (Though not to that extent of cash)
I will stick next to the people I know who come in with lots of money but try to give my regulars at least a little attention here and there.
I like it most when the people that have cash are actually genuinely a great time to be around though.

@GoVikings well the most recent case they got kinda stalkerie and just the whole night their word choice and tones and body language were red flags. I played it off and acted nice (and how I usually did with them)and was cautious with my words. But it was 100% an act at that point. I didn’t want to end things abruptly for my safety but also plan to slowly taper their interest off of me. I saw this person other nights with no issue but they crossed a line and were getting too personal. I know that’s kinda vague.

@heaving as a stripper for me it’s hit or miss. Somedays I really am enjoying myself and having a good time. I love customers that come in and just want to have a good time!
I do have days where I’m not into it as much though (but I try my best to not let it show cause I mean people come in to have a good time and get away from drama they don’t want you killing the mood.)
I also have some customers I don’t care for as much as others. Maybe at first they were ok but they later just made me no longer comfortable with them thus ruining my genuine good time vibe with them

@pap_chulo I agree with the smoking and man you’d hate most girls in my area then cause majority have their nipples pierced. It’s honestly rare to see a girl in a club that doesn’t!
Personally all I can think is damn that would hurt if they snagged on something when I see them.

I’ve been to blush but never had their food.
You should try going to Jills lounge in wheeling Wv they also serve food but the bar is farther away from the stage and so are most of the tables so it’s not so awkward. I haven’t had the delight to eat there food but it smelt amazing at the end of the night when I worked there for a night.

If business is slow the more talented dancers often move on even if that means having to drive farther away.

Ouch! My ex did that to me once and it ripped bad! I have a tiny scar from it, my tongue hurt for days until it healed I couldn't talk or anything! :'(
I feel for yah!
Sorry they were so rough. I like things rough if I'm in the right mood but getting your tongue ripped like that is not pleasing in the least bit! My tongue is even pierced and it hurt less than when my tongue got ripped :(
Maybe try a new place? Or skip the tongue with the kissing?
