Doc, good points made. The stupid voter is one who blames the other party he didn’t vote for as the one who made our current problems. The stupid voter is one always out on a witch hunt looking to blame somebody for the situation they’re in. We’ve seen enough of this from both sides, and with the hyper media glomming onto whatever narratives used to divide us, I don’t see how any good meaning altruistic candidate can survive. Can anyone who is a decent public servant grab enough headlines to overcome the natural bashing of identity politics for the ticket he represents? The media and its hyper reporting on narratives has dumbed us all down to do one thing, trigger the emotions of the voter.
Maybe we should allow only 80 year old grandpas to run for President. They have less of an incentive to ruin America.

Dated, no. On and off again romance, more or less a convenient hook up, yes. It is easier to casually date a stripper when you got time as a single person w/out any thing tying you down. I know I had to invest some late nights developing a hook up years ago, and the chase was fun to find a new permissive slutty coed. Now I get tired of listening to any stripper utter the simple words “ how is your day? What do you do for fun?” I’ve had some otc opportunities thrown at me suggested by the dancer, but I politely tell them i am unable to follow through on the time commitment. Dream Palace Cabaret, Tempe/Scottsdale and Christie’s Phoenix are two clubs coming to mind we avoid for a reason, but I’d say Bandaids, Essex, and Dirty’s are two under the radar clubs reviewed less that can cater to regulars.

^^ yeah, they’re called parents and elementary or K-12 public school teachers, and not those leaches called professors in post secondary/college and universities. Those in “higher learning” are more or less posing higher scams. I categorize professors as one of those least trustworthy professions like lawyers, real estate agents, and financial advisors. Professors are the scum of education. Not all, but definitely the majority of them.

After thinking this over, the answer is definitely yes for one reason, I have no other hobbies. I used to play golf, go gambling, buy classic cars to fix up, and no longer do I have those time and money sucking pits! To keep one sane he needs to have an outlet, and of course this hobby provides it!

Only one reason why EVs will be more predominant over time, economics. Once people who need to buy a new vehicle figure out that it is less expensive to drive one compared to fueling up for gas and maintaining ICE will they decide to make the switch. It’s why I would. No more stopping at gas stations, no more oil change appointments, no more radiator flushes or transmission fluid exchanges, etc. I think people’s time becomes important and they don’t want to tinker with setting appointments to repair and maintain, because EVs last longer w/out those little annoyances ICE has. Battery replacement sucks, but generally it’s a one time thing a person budgets for with a warranty.

Go EV if yiu find yourself in this situation…
1. You “need” to lease or buy a new vehicle. If you’re used vehicle still runs good, better financially to hold onto it.
2. Most of your driving is commuter, and not long distance. Charging at home is most beneficial, which leads to….
3. Access to affordable charging, such as living in an area with lower electrical rates (ie Arizona) and doing so at home.
I’m sure I left some thing out. I’m in 2 of the 3 scenarios, but the numbers add up for me to stick with my gas guzzling truck. No financing costs, low insurance, hauls anything for home projects/remodeling, and little to no registration fees. Price of owning anything new has many hidden costs to nickel and dime you to death, equal to the costs of maintaining an old vehicle for repairs. My thinking is by maintaining an old vehicle it is essentially lowering a persons carbon footprint than buying a new EV. However, if starting off brand new in need of a vehicle that you will own for 10-20 years, EV all the way if you have the above 3 criteria met.
