I was never a General-Hospital watcher although my older brother liked-it.

I was in middle-school in the early-80s downhere in Miami – there was a large sudden population increase in Miami due the 1980 Mariel boatlift which affected the schools w/ all the new arrivals – subsequently they had to split the local-middle-school into 2 shits – 6th and 7th grades were from 12:15 to 5:15 in the afternoon – 8th and 9th grades were from 7am to 12pm (there was no lunchtime)

When I was in 8th and 9th grades I’d be home by 12:30 or 12:45 pm – “Days Of Our Lives” would be on at 1pm and I got in the habit of watching it and liked it (this was circa 1983 – 1985).
