The corrupt power elite in Chicago (and throughout Illinois) do not wield guns, they wield checkbooks, contracts and nepotism. Vote for the wrong guy, your snow doesn't get removed. Financially back the right guy, your zoning variance gets approved without debate. And on and on . . . Flagoo -- great comments! LOL -- Get off my lawn. Love it.

    GOAT
great comment by mjx01 about the physical play. I recently watched an ESPN 30 for 30 on the Bad Boys of Detroit beating the shit out of their opponents (the Bulls) and being PRAISED for their "solid playoff fouls". We will never know if LBJ would deliver blows under such a system or be as healthy as he has been able to be under such loose rules interpretation. We have to all agree that the NBA is soft today compared to 25 years ago. Count my vote for Jordan as GOAT. LBJ in top 11, though. MJ, Magic, Kareem, Russell, Bird, LBJ, Chamberlain, Bryant, Erving, Shaq and Jerry West (the dang NBA logo, for gosh sake). LBJ jumping from contender to contender and reverse engineering teammates disqualifies him from GOAT status, IMO.

    Who's ready for basketball ?
If league doesn't suspend Green in last year's finals, Warriors would be back-to-back-to-back champs now. That would make LBJ three time consecutive runner up. Either way, 3-5 finals record eliminates LBJ from GOAT status. Just win baby! MJ 6 for 6 in finals as 6-time finals MVP. Wanna go with stats? LBJ -- 27.1 PPG in regular season; 28.4 PPG postseason MJ -- 30.1 PPG in regular season; 33.4 PPG postseason Mic drop

    If Strip Clubs Didn't Exist...
Before the internet, before TUSCL, before I learned about sex in the Champagne Room, it was casino girls, hotel lobby bars and cruising bad neighborhoods in my rental cars for SW. Geary St. in SF, Michigan Ave in Detroit, North Ave. in Chicago, etc. etc. I even scored in the parking lots of various notel motels in the shadow of major airports around the country. Supply always has a way of finding demand.

    Is it racist?
It is definitely not racist. Taken further, I wish all reviewers, when describing their ATF or CF or their lapper du jour would identify the object of their affection more precisely -- race, size, hair, tats, piercings, etc. In other words, create a picture -- then we can choose for ourselves if our tastes align with yours and follow your lead or run for the hills.

I got out!!! but now having second thoughts
Without a college degree, assuming escorting is off the table, the only field in which I imagine you will earn what you were able to earn as a stripper is outside sales of some kind. A position in which your abilities to hustle and relate to people result in profit to your employer and incentive compensation to yourself. You have been charming men out of cash to spend time with you for years. Now charm them out of their cash for their companies to buy whatever you're selling. Retail stores, waitressing and bartending are NOT wealth builders -- they are fine for part-time hourly wages -- but never a living wage. Otherwise, your REAL job is to find a well-off significant other (spouse) who will keep you in the standard of living to which you are accustomed -- or better. If this is the play, then you need to think about where the type of people you would want to spend your life with tend to hang out -- truthfully, probably not a strip club. Probably not a bar. Probably not a casino nor a race track. Charitable service. Church. Office building. Golf course. You get the idea. Put yourself around the kind of people you would want to marry and be charming. It has worked that way for centuries.

Also, under My Settings, I would love to have a tab to My Reviews. If it is there and I missed it, my bad. Sometimes I stroll down memory lane for fun. Sometimes I check back on my prior reviews when I cannot recall the name of a place I once visited and reviewed long ago.

So who else hates the new look TUSCL?
I miss seeing data on the reviewer/commenter himself. Specifically, I like to see the number of reviews and the number of clubs reviewed right on the screen with each review/comment. In this way, if I see that someone reviewing or commenting has only 1 review for only 1 club, I am less likely to value their opinions than I would someone who has 178 reviews at 31 unique clubs. Also, if majorramrod is correct in his comment above that the location-based maps are gone, I am going to miss that a lot. Whenever I travel for business to a new area, I used to pull up the map based on where I was going to be and perform some advance planning and research. If I am not familiar with the city names or neighborhoods, I am not sure how I am going to do that . . . Lastly, on the daily strip club reviews page, it would be great if the city/state were more prominently displayed (like before). I often scroll through every review every day. If I was especially busy on a given day, I might skip reading reviews from states I might not visit anytime soon(maybe rapidly skipping through Florida or Texas entirely). I am 100% desktop, if you're still counting. Your willingness to consider all these opinions is remarkable and commendable.

Buying food from a strip club?
I have watched too much Bar Rescue to eat in a bar, much less a strip club, many of which are often in unincorporated (unregulated??) areas. Sorry, can't do it.

    Wife banger
In my 20s, as a single, unattached male prior to getting married -- yes. Definitely didn't enhance the experience (probably detracted, to be candid). Since, never. I have no knowledge of marital status of sex workers and don't care to. As many feel, the rules of societal norm don't apply to strippers and escorts.

MrDeuce's reply is spot on. Perfection, based on my visits. I have not visited Sauget, but have been to Brooklyn, and it is a dump. Of the Brooklyn options, historically, I've had the best time at Roxy's, but not sure if I would bother going there any more based on recent experience. Relatively speaking, it's Hollywood for quality and Dollies for value.

SJG -- I take issue with your vocabulary. Gambling is defined as the practice of playing a game of chance for money or stakes. Gambling entails that the outcome is random with events defined by mathematical probabilities with expected values. Blackjack, craps, roulette . . . I define poker and betting on horses as gaming more than gambling -- your competition is with and against other gamers for money. Skill can influence success or failure to a great extent. On the other hand, it helps to have good cards or the fastest horse. Investing is more like gaming than gambling in that you are competing against others. However, the outcomes are not random. They are not influenced by the roll of a die or the turn of a playing card. While there is theoretically a seller for every buyer, knowledge and skill by a professional investor matter greatly. I respect your distain for investing -- you or someone you know must have been burned badly. I would argue those losses are not due to bad luck, like the spin of a wheel. They were not gambling losses. They are due to human error -- either greed or fear or lack of research or lack of understanding. In other words, things within the human control of the investor. Anyone unwilling to obtain knowledge and do the work (or entrust those with knowledge and effort) may be better off in cash. I know you'll argue your point -- we'll just have to agree to disagree.

    Chicago, should I even bother?
Admiral sucks ass. Worst RO joint ever. Only a Golden P**** would endorse that shithole. As many have said, Chi is a full-service wasteland. Heavenly Bodies near O'Hare has decent viewing hotness, but no extras. The south side and northwest Indiana has plenty of extras, but is hit or miss regarding hotness. If OP can't leave the city, go to the Art Institute on Michigan avenue first. There are more original Monet paintings than in the Louvre in Paris. It is awesome. Grab a steak at Gibson's or prime rib at Lawry's or deep dish pizza at Pizzeria Due.

Why don't these articles ever give a description of the perpetrators? You know ... "5-11 to 6-1, white male, buzz haircut, knife tattoo on right forearm, Jamaican accent" ... something??? How about you let us know what they look like or sound like?? Are we so afraid of profiling that we can't give a general description so we know what these bad guys look like or sound like even AFTER a crime is committed???? Is it me, or do the bad guys seem more brazen than ever before? Carjacking in 'decent" neighborhoods? Strong arm robberies in daylight?? Smash and grab robberies in the high rent districts? Is it because the bad guys no longer fear being stopped by coppers and questioned just "because something doesn't look right"?? I fear BLM has caused many cops to be reluctant to prevent crime. Instead, many cops have simply become report takers after the fact. In Chicago, near Wrigley, a 56 year old man was carjacked and robbed. I watched the report on three channels. No hints what the 3 bad guys looked like. Black? White? Hispanic? English speaking? Russian? Tall? Short? Young? Nothing! So, out of PC that we might offend, now we have to fear everyone!!
