I've run into girls who absolutely reek, they barely rub up against you and you stink. Just changing shirts and a scrubbing at a sink isn't going to get that out. When I was married, those girls were an instant pass.
Girls with just a reasonable amount of perfume, easily handled with a shirt change and sink scrubbing

Good point by Papi Chacho, this is vacation & family season, for strippers as with everyone else. Sometimes they want to shut off entirely for a few weeks. Even if she does get back to you in January, take note of this -- you are a work chore for her that she wants to turn off when she goes on vacation, not a romantic interest. It's a good, honest reminder that you should take to heart.

Got it. I don't do lap dances anymore (in my area, lapdances are useless, so it's all-VIPs all the time), but when I did, I do agree that if you're doing a bunch in a row, an occasional check-in always makes sense... I've never done "check in every song", but "hey, we're up to 4 now, right?" I can definitely see.
Also agree going with your gut instincts, on a case-by-case basis, until she proves trustworthy

Are you guys seriously making ever stripper count every song every time you do dances? I suppose it might make sense if you're in an area where a ton of the girls are overcounters, but for most of us, doing that to catch the one-in-a-hundred overcounter? Ponderous, man!
If a stripper overcounts, challenge her (there will usually be a dance counter and/or video, and especially in a club where you're a regular, you'll nearly always win this) and don't repeat.

Shadow: really, you see that? I see practically no intersection between the two. At the highest level, I feel like SJG believes what he says, thinks he's making a contribution, and just plain doesn't care what anyone else thinks. IceyLoco is clearly an alternate persona, a pretend street (and cringey at that) persona that was created to troll and disrupt.

I try to do the same thing. I usually SC with a buddy or several, and on those occasions, even if the girls are "meh", drinking with your buddies is never bad. If I'm alone and don't like the lineup, and there's nowhere else to go (e.g., Sunday afternoon, exactly 1 club is open), I'll often find a fun girl and just drink with her for a while. I know many of you guys don't like talking to the strippers, but I love it, and some of the girls have very interesting and fun stories (shocker! they're strippers).
Typically, if I have a shitty time, it's because I'm at a no-alcohol club, and there's no girls of interest. I rarely go to no alcohol clubs anymore, but when I did, there were definitely occasional crappy days

No one on this forum has ever said that you should pay strippers until they like you, so you can date them. In fact, there's little discussion of dating strippers at all, since most experienced PLs are experienced enough not to be interested in doing so. The only people who bring up strippers are the (mostly troll) personas who like to pretend they're pimps or players, and for the most part, simply regurgitate the standard (and incorrect) PUA lines about strip clubs -- e.g., "don't pay her for dances", "once you're a customer that's all you are", etc. That's when people respond "I was a regular before I FWB or dated her", essentially to highlight that the regurgitated PUA tactics (and the troll pimps here who do the regurgitating) are wrong. Beyond that, for the most part, no PLs here are saying "that's how you should date strippers"; we're saying, not interested in dating strippers.

In the clubs I go to, management gets pissed at girls who don't get 2-for-1 dances after the cattle call, so saying "I don't want a 2-for-1, but I also don't want you to do one with anyone else" doesn't work. She either needs to get a dance with me, or someone else; she doesn't want to do anything to get shit from management.
The nice thing is, if I do choose to get a VIP at this time, the "2-for-1" cut-off songs (that is the 1.5 songs) only count as one song, so it's still a bit of a deal

Exactly. There's always more to it -- especially when it comes to regulars, who earn their "talk time" by being a consistent source of good payment. That said, my experience is that cattle calls only happen when the club is packed (at least in the DJV clubs I go to), and the more packed the club is, the more the regular has to be spending to earn that table time. It's exactly why I don't go when the club is packed. Monday dayshift: no cattle calls, no 2-for-1s, no other customers for her to hustle
