I have too many regulars now, so $200 is stretching it thin. That's plenty if there's just one dancer I'm going to be with but if I have 3 I need upwards of $500. I like to spend time with my girls.

Agree that sometimes black dancers play the race card, but all's fair in a club as far as I'm concerned. If that's her game, then it will either pay her rent or not. I'm not up for a PC debate in a club; I'm looking for entertainment.

She has no kids and lives alone. Good point about top earners being unlikely candidates for OTC...she seems an OTC type dancer though although I have no direct knowledge on how often she does it. She works 7 PM to 1 AM; 4 nights a week. If she's smelly for a post shift OTC she can shower first!

I'm sure there are many scenarios as several have already posted. A few from my experiences:
I went to the club when my "ex"-ATF returned to work after 2+ years of 'domestic bliss' (not with me!) a few months back. She was worried about her game, yet she did dance with an old regular or two, but for the 5 hours I was there she was with me 4 1/2. No one would guess that I wasn't on her payroll outside of just 2 sets of dances.
Some girls know a whale is coming, and will just hang with her fave PL in the room until he shows up. I had a CF that had a big ITC date coming, but she was with me (for free) until he showed up.
Some may actually just like the guy even on a first meeting. That happened to me once - a rookie dancer just sat on my lap until 2 AM. And I wasn't tipping her. Never saw her again though.

You think? That's why I was question a pre-shift OTC...in the past I've made the deal to be an hour and she stays (or I stay) longer. She's a top earner in the club though; she's always in VIP or the CR and always as busy as she wants to be. A real pro!

Zero.
There were many I wanted OTC with who weren't available, and the ones who were available I would accept. This isn't to say there weren't some frumps who said she was available which I declined...but no regrets.

I think the cam girl industry has had a profound effect on the quality of dancers as wallanon mentioned. The better cam girls make as much as any dancer, and they can do it at home. A dancer friend who went to camming, and she says she'll never dance again even though she's still in her 20's. She was quite popular in the club too.
