Seriously though, I don't think stripping is one of the easiest jobs in the world. Sure, it might sound easy in some regards, but all of the shit a dancer has to put up with each night, from cheap-ass, grabby customers to guys with money and no respect demanding immediate gratification to craptacular nights with no customers and no tips but those damn pay-outs to one customer after another saying "No thanks" or tell them what an ugly bitch they are, not to mention any of the social stigma they might face from both the world of the club and the outside world. A dancer needs to develop an incredibly thick skin to put up with all of that daily and nightly shit, a skill and an attitude I can only envy. Is it any wonder why some of them go off the rails, every now and again, even just a little bit?

Seriously, you're ranting because a dancer made you wait five minutes? She was even polite enough to stop by and let you know that she hadn't forgotten about you, that she wasn't blowing you off, just that she wanted to do that ONE lap dance for that guy first -- for whatever reason she had. (Personally, I have a feeling she might've owed him a dance from before her stage set or he might've been a regular who was getting ready to head out. Nuts, she might've wanted to give him the lap dance to give YOU a preview of what her VIP might've been like.)
Xeinok, just because you have money, you won't always be the first in line. And just because a dancer went to another guy first, it doesn't mean you have to get all rifle-and-the-bell-tower bent out of shape. Just grow up and settle down, okay?

I've always worn jeans, but ever since one dancer asked me to take my belt off because the buckle physically irritated her, I've made it a habit to at least ask if I should take the belt off. I usually wear a snarky t-shirt with a plaid long-sleeve, but sometimes I wear a short-sleeve. I've never noticed if it's made any difference in attracting or repulsing dancers. It probably varies a great deal from dancer to dancer, where they're at in their shift, and just how good the night's been for her.
