... staying on the flip side, I've been to clubs where superheavyweights would have fit in nicely. My boy steve229 probably has them ATF in these clubs.

That's good to know.
There's one decent hotel in TJ. On a 2-night excursion, stay overnite, leave your bags with the concierge, do a second nite of touristy shit, pick up them bags and head to the border after 1am. Hotel's about a 15-20 min ride from zona norte. Watch out for them head chopping senors.

As with most things, depends on the situation. In a new club, if it's not busy, sit back, tip well, and they'll come to you.
Unless they're sitting with their regulars in which case you gotta follow microdong's advice.
If it's busy, gotta be forward unless you don't care. The principle's the same as in singles bars and life in general.

Change of clothes works if you're on business travel and your clothes are close by. If I'm local (within an hour driving distance), and I dropped in before a dinner engagement, I go to the dept. store to buy new pant and shirt (them smell thing). Doesn't work if you got a wife or live-in girlfriend.

There are LOTS of clubs where black dancers are non-existent or token few. Most of the SCs I go to are like that, and I love black dancers. So not sure what the fuck you're whining about.
There is a systemic problem. Agreed. But it's really not a problem since most SCs hardly have any black dancers. And the few that have, the dancers complain to me that they have trouble getting dances. Not from black guys but guys like myself, young and old-fat-and-balding. And these black girls are hottie spinners. And are cool, well-mannered, intelligent, and the list goes on. They are the tops.
So bout a third of my regulars are black girls. What's sad but admirable is that they are VERY loyal to their boyfriends (and girlfriends) who are all black. They are a bit liberal with the sex thing -- thank god! -- but emotionally there's a wall I could never penetrate. That's why I respect them, unlike you fucking whining pussycat. Probably why no one in them club of yours respects you.
My advice to you nickifree: get a real guy friend who'll kick your balls when you start whining again about a non-problem.

Atypical but not uncommon, at least in smaller clubs. I've seen it happen at a couple of them. In one, after a dancer became pregnant and it began to show, they let her DJ when she couldn't dance no more.

rickdugan's got a point but what you did was a reasonable option. Some managers will intervene, others will not. I have seen some black dudes at a couple of clubs get similar treatment from the black dancers. This may reflect, in part, resentment born out by recent stats. Interracial marriage numbers show one unusually high skew: many more African American males marry non-AA females than African American females marry non-AA males. Not sure why that is. Such huge imbalance does not exist among any other ethnic/racial groups.
I love black girls. So does Robert De Niro. And many others but obviously not too many. In my not humble opinion, they are the tops.
Back to your question: It looks like neither the (black) girls nor the manager respect you. Since you've been going there for a while, it probably means you ain't spending enough for them to give a shit. Stop going to that club and don't be a pussy asking others what to do about a no brainer situation.

Yep, all you say is true but you got plenty of time to repeat your mistakes again, and again. :-) All them strippers got issues, but girlfriends are in another category. It's like going to them Chinese restaurants (except maybe them Chef Chang and related places) vs. them Ruth's steakhouse (never mind the real expensive ones). One of the reason we 50+ fat balding guys haven't given up on the stripper scene. Compared to them girlfriends (won't even mention the w word) stripper drama is lighthearted fun. Take it in strike.

Yea, some more on fri/sat nights. 50 on saturday at foxy lady in RI seems unusual. Haven't been there in a while but used to be local/brown crowd and folks visiting from greater boston area due to interstate proximity.
As to is it a good/bad thing? Bachelorette parties sometimes stray off course when they can't find a male SC. For some reason the girls tend to be uppity which makes it a spoiler. Guess they can't get it through their heads that we're the same guys at them weddings.
College gals coming in with guy friends can be fun though. Some do that wanna be stripper for one night thing. Once, in myrtle beach at a byob club, had an unsolicited free lap dance from a gal while her friends were cheering from afar. Might have gone further as we were in one of the private back rooms, but the stripper I was with came to reclaim her rent money.
