I go to work expecting bs from both customers and other dancers because I work in a strip club. Everyone that walks through the door should expect a bit of it. I'm not saying I like it or its a good thing, but I expect it.
When I am done giving a customer dances, I go wash up. If I tell him I will come sit with him and I don't, its usually because someone has grabbed me on my way back and wants dances. As much as I'dike to find the previous customer and tell him I can't sit with him, I'm not always able to do it for various reasons.
I don't think any dancer who cares about her job likes to upset a customer. We don't go out of our way to make you think we're full of shit, it just happens sometimes in the hustle of it all.

I have never felt the hit from the bad economy. I come to work to work. I don't take a lot of breaks and I stay out of the dressing room. Making the most of the customers that show up is my main priority.
However, if the time came where I did start to lose money, there are plenty of things in my life I could stand to cut back on.

I have seriously dated only one customer. He was a year older than me. We were together a year and a half. He is still my closest friend.

I'm not attracted to women in a romantic way but I still notice if someone is hot. I like larger breasts with a very small waist. A Nicole Austin body type.

I never saw this girl in the VIP, I mean never. Either it was the smell or the enormous tattoo of her boyfriends name across her chest. But..it was probably her dances..:)

Pink Body Spray from Victorias Secret. I'm addicted. I've always been careful with perfume. I was sitting with one of my regulars and one of my fellow dancers walked by. She said hi to me. My customer said disgustingly " Jeez she smells like a Mexican whore house".After that I went up to her and nonchalantly smelled her.Ever since then Ive been super paranoid. I try on perfume and then wave my arms around trying to tell if I smell like a Mexican whores house.

I would have to say I've only kissed one customer ever. He was incredibly hot. I've never seen another like him, inside or outside the club.

That's great! I will definetly do that!. For those that don't have a gridget, I think I give an excellent dancers point of view and I am gracious to those of you that have been courteous on this.site

@troop: yes, daisy is coming at it from her point of view but also from the viewpoint of a woman and a dancer, unless she isn't a woman or a dancer, then I'll stand corrected.
@ shadowcat: yes this is a customer aimed site but I've got many nice pm's stating how its enlightening to have a dancers point of view on the site and they hope I will stay. Maybe you don't feel the same way, just an assumption after your post. No problem either way.
@ both men: I don't frequent stripperweb. I would have to spend some time on it to understand how its run or how it treats male posters.

Id like to clarify on daisy's post. She's coming at this from a woman's point of view. A dancers point of view. It is true that you can make amazing money even though you don't do extras. Customers at club who ask for extras aren't as common as some may think. I believe customers hope for extras, but I've never had someone get angry or not spend money because they can't get sex.
Dancers don't stick around on this site very long. I think that would change if she felt more welcome to share from a dancers point of view without getting jumped on.
And from a dancers point of view, some of the posts I've read are creepy and entitled sounding. Not all!..some guys on here are pretty cool. But some make a woman go "yikes"

I'm going to have to disagree with the idea that gone are the days when stripper worry about giving out their real names because they are scared of being stalked.
More now than ever before, the internet makes it easy to find people. I have a very unique first name. It would be very easy to search my first name, narrow down the few hits you got for my area, and find my address or my relatives names and addresses. I have worked at two different clubs where dancers were murdered by stalker customers. I am aware of the fact that men, particularly those that were not raised in the era of internet, don't understand the dangers that face women, particularly those in the adult industry.
For a regular dancer that likes to keep themselves incognito and out of any possible harms way won't randomly give out their real name. I don't even allow other dancers to know my real name.

@georgmicrodong: I promise you I'm a real stripper. Ive worked with some girls before at clubs who now have ads on backpage.com, etc etc. Even though they are escorts now, I think back to when I worked with them. They were pleasant to work with and they were pretty nice girls. That's probably where some of my lax ideas about prostitution come from.

I know we pm'd eachother but I want to clarify for other readers.
Some cities do ticket you for illegal dances. You are fined by the city, they suspend your license, and you have to appear in court. It sucks!. Usually if you get one ticket, your license is suspended for 30 days and you pay a fine. It's an easy fix and you can go work in a different city or county. If you get three, you're screwed and you do have a large fine and a suspended license for up to a year.
I have been ticketed by city police for a dance. They busted me on the spot. Most of the time they send it to your house. If you want to dispute it, you go to court. The club is not involved in that. They would prefer to stay out of the local news section of the paper and so would I. I'm more careful now

In many states, "flashing" a customer during a dance is against the law and you will get a ticketed and fined by the city. So "because its against the law..duh!" doesn't cut it for me. Remember I also stated "in my personal opinion" and I will stand by that.

At the two clubs I've worked at they did not record the VIP. I was close with management and I had a problem in VIP and they could not play it back because it was not on record and never is, as I found out. This does not include the rest of the club though. Im only speaking for VIP

Some are, not all. There are plenty of dancers who do not have sex, oral or intercourse, for money. It depends on the area and the club itself.
I do not have sex inside or outside the club for money. It is my personal opinion, however, that as long as girl and customer are both adults, who cares if she's a hooker.

Keep in mind that Seattle deja vu does have cameras in the VIP, however,many do not record. You have to be looking at the camera in real time to watch what's happening.
