Some are, not all. There are plenty of dancers who do not have sex, oral or intercourse, for money. It depends on the area and the club itself.
I do not have sex inside or outside the club for money. It is my personal opinion, however, that as long as girl and customer are both adults, who cares if she's a hooker.
In many states, "flashing" a customer during a dance is against the law and you will get a ticketed and fined by the city. So "because its against the law..duh!" doesn't cut it for me. Remember I also stated "in my personal opinion" and I will stand by that.
cops do not go into strip clubs and give tickets to strippers. Cops would rather spend their time OUTSIDE the club patrolling for DUI charges.
That is bullshit the management tells you so THEY can be the ones to fine you. I have never heard of strippers individually being ticketed by the police for violations in the lap dances. I have heard of several strippers being fined by the club though.
I know we pm'd eachother but I want to clarify for other readers.
Some cities do ticket you for illegal dances. You are fined by the city, they suspend your license, and you have to appear in court. It sucks!. Usually if you get one ticket, your license is suspended for 30 days and you pay a fine. It's an easy fix and you can go work in a different city or county. If you get three, you're screwed and you do have a large fine and a suspended license for up to a year.
I have been ticketed by city police for a dance. They busted me on the spot. Most of the time they send it to your house. If you want to dispute it, you go to court. The club is not involved in that. They would prefer to stay out of the local news section of the paper and so would I. I'm more careful now
bang69, why are you so concerned with assigning a label to a girl, like "stripper" or "hooker"? In my experience, there are some women who will do sexual things for money, and a bunch of women who don't. Among those who do, they cover a wide and continuous spectrum of prices and behaviors. From a societal viewpoint, somewhere in the middle of that spectrum a women gets labeled as a hooker, but to me it's a big gray area, and it's more important to me to judge a woman by other characteristics.
samsung, locally it's the ABC folks, as opposed to the regular cops, who mostly do that, and they *will* ticket the girls in the club, and will also cite the club itself.
Stiletto: You can not *possibly* be a real dancer; you are *way* too reasonable and non-judgemental about the whole prostitution thing. :))
People like to use derogatory terms such as hooker because by doing so they somehow convince themselves that a customer occupies a higher level of society than the hooker, dancer etc. In the end all of this is still known as the sex trade, including lap dances and none of us are any better than others.
@georgmicrodong: I promise you I'm a real stripper. Ive worked with some girls before at clubs who now have ads on backpage.com, etc etc. Even though they are escorts now, I think back to when I worked with them. They were pleasant to work with and they were pretty nice girls. That's probably where some of my lax ideas about prostitution come from.
There are strip clubs where the girls are really hookers? Please identify these clubs by name and address. I want to be sure I never walk into one by mistake.
