    It was so cold...
There have been some interesting contrasts regarding the cold weather in the eastern U.S. Within a few days time, TV news reported that one day it was warmer in Anchorage than in Nashville and Atlanta. Another was that parts of Siberia were warmer than Chicago. That's COLD !!!

That was pretty funny! I'd make use of those vending machines if they were stocked with models from web sites like these: http://www.bigtitstokyo.com/ or http://www.busty-asians.com/

    Giving strippers a fake name?
It's not uncommon for customers to use fake names. Even customers at an ordinary neighborhood bar do that. In that use, it's known as a "bar name." I certainly concur with Ironman's statement no. 2 However, I think I've benefitted from the opposite strategy. Not only do I give dancers my real first name, but my last name as well. More than one has said it gave them a lot of confidence and trust in me. (I'm single, live alone, and retired, so I have nothing to fear about dancers making use of the knowledge of my full name. Hell, they even know where live because I do all my OTCs at my house.)

So you like sucking on titties?
Even though I'm a skilled and seasoned boobologist, if I knew that about a dancer, that'd gross me out.

    Clubs in Sacramento
I used to travel to Sacramento a few times a year for business. (Hate to tell you how long ago that was.) But, City Limits was the only worthwhile club at that time. I suggest you read the recent reviews of it. They may not be promising, but I suggest you PM some of the recent reviewers to get more personal information that they didn't want to post in their reviews: https://www.tuscl.net/stripclubreviews.php?DID=3888&RS=40 Also, on those trips I usually opted for the two-hour drive to the Reno clubs. They were much better. Fantasy Girls was great at that time. The same advice applies there, as well: https://www.tuscl.net/stripclubreviews.php?DID=3888&RS=40 As I indicated, my knowledge is quite dated, so do your own homework before you go.

Refusing a dance because you didnt like the look of the PL who got a dance befor
In some clubs, or just with some dancers, I've noticed the practice of a dancer carrying a little soft piece of cloth to carry with them (maybe between the size of a wash cloth and a hand towel) to place on a seat wherever they sit. That could include a customer's lap. It's done for sanitary reasons. That might alleviate the concerns expressed above. It hasn't bothered me at all in just the few occasions where I've experienced it.

    Why stay?
Some members just like the review section, and that's all they care about. They just want to know what they consider the most pertinent information: What's going on in the clubs they go to, or might like try. Participation in the peripheral elements of TUSCL is not of interest to them.

Any local joints with some action?
Dude, TUSCL is an internationally read website. It's not just available where you are. You're going to have to provide some specificity if you want help on this website. Otherwise, look for your club on www.stripclublist.com There, you can post your request, only under that club, and then only people looking at posts for that club will see it. Just in case you're speaking of the last remaining Pussycat Theater of the (in)famous California chain of the same name, read this. Particularly the last paragraph in the history section: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pussycat_Theater It says that by 2001 there has been only one remaining theater in the chain. It's in the lavender district of L.A. Specifically, that means its a gay theater now. Is that the theater you were asking about?

How Can TUSCL be Improved ?
@GMD: I totally agree with you on your points. For the others, as for getting strippers to communicate with customers, I just don't see that happening at all, even on a different web site. I've always had the impression that most dancers don't want to spend time on the internet communicating with other customers. Most of them only want the forms of communication that tell them if their regulars are coming in or not.

How Can TUSCL be Improved ?
Threads like this come up from time to time, but nothing gets changed on TUSCL. I'd like one feature restored that we used to have in my early days (early 2011), was the "club discussion" feature. This where you could talk about a club, or ask questions of other members about a club, without actually reviewing it.

How have you found the clubs during the holidays ?
There's one difference here in Seattle about clubbing around the holidays, more so Christmas. That's only because it's close to the end of the year. Washington state, like many other states, requires dancers to have a business license. Many of the cities have structured their business licenses so that they expire on Decemeber 31st. A new license must be obtained for dancers to work beginning January 1st. The clubs here seem to be pretty strict about ensuring that a dancer has a valid license before coming to work in January. The licenses (even renewals) are usually over $200. Most dancers budget for this as part of their December expenses. But, many don't. In addition to Christmas expenses, January 1st rent, they also have to have a couple hundred for their license renewals. It's often the case that many dancers are working on, or close to, New Year's Eve because they need money for the next year's license. It's a good time for dealing in the clubs and OTC activities as well. I have a good opportunity for the latter at the moment because of this phenomenon.

Things you thought about saying to strippers but decided not to:
@ Lone_Wolf: Sorry for getting off-topic, but to respond to your question, a lot of clubs will hire and keep any dancer that walks in the door asking for a job. As long as she shows up for work and pays her house fee, no matter how unattractive she may be, or how few dances she sells, the club is still making money off of her. Here in Seattle, I can attest to that. Hopefully, any one club won't have too many dancers like this.

Too many favorites problems need advice from the Vets
I have to concur with Yoda. If all you really want to know is how to deal with multiple favorites at one club, you included a lot of extraneous information. I see you're new to TUSCL, so I advise you to keep your stories and requests for assistance concise, and you'll get better help. My approach to multiple faves is to keep a list of their schedules. I can go to strip clubs just about any time. No S.O. or other constraints. I choose when I go by when certain dancers are working. I try to go when only one particular dancer I want to see is working. If I miss, and more than one are there, I just say, "I'll plan to see you the next time I'm in, but for tonight, I came just to see ___________." They understand my clubbing habits.

    Dancers asking for "tips"
Part of the aggravation of a dancer asking for a tip, is she's changing rules of the game after the game has started. She's usually asking for a tip *after* an agreed-to price has been stated or paid. However, if beforehand, she says, "I'll do X, Y, and Z for $X, plus a tip, that's not the same thing. Then she's leaving the discretionary amount to the customer.

    Dancers asking for "tips"
I'm with Jack. If they ask for a tip, they don't get one from me. If they do somehow succeed, it's the last time they see me paying them. They could have made a regular out of me, but not if they ask for tips.

Has TUSCL made you more of a hobbyist ?
It's affected my club-going by PMing with other members to find specific dancers that might interest me that I haven't found on my own. So, to answer your survey question, I'd say I go more than I used to, but that really means I go to a greater *variety* of clubs than I used to. I can't say that really means I go clubbing more often.

    Anti Club Activists
@ Chili (again): Do you remember the long-since closed Blue Zebra near downtown L.A.? The owner there did something to take advantage of protesters. A lot of L.A. clubs (then, anyway) ran ads in newspaper sports sections and the L.A. Weekly. The Blue Zebra owners made an occasion out of the protest by putting language to this effect in their ads: "PROTESTERS SPECIAL - If protesters are present upon your arrival, admission is FREE." I always think that in the strip club business, any publicity is good publicity. On site, it may deter some potential customers from entering, but it lets the rest of the world know that there's a new strip club opening.

    Anti Club Activists
@ Chili: I lived in L.A. at the time and I do remember the Imperial-Pico Rivera protests. The second link you gave is particularly good reading. I just love this part: "Demonstrators also damaged the club building, destroying the locks, and on one occasion forced the club to shut down by pulling six vehicles up to the front of the club and leaning on their car horns for 15 minutes, Smith declared." Many other clubs had protesters. Strip club openings are contentious in many locations. TV cameras like to show up and interview protestors, club officials, and customers. I will only avoid a club under protest if I see TV cameras present.
