What deogol said, plus inform the management of that dancer's bad behavior.
I've also experienced that the more shrewd dancers know that the older customers are likely to be the better spending customers, but I don't feel I've ever been overcharged because of my age.

Slick, The Josh Beckett no-hitter was in Philadelphia, May 2th. You have a friend there who offered you a ticket?

I'm always surprised that strippers will seek customers' advice on subjects they should ask of other dancers. If it's a money question they're asking about, I always preface my remarks with, "I'm giving you a customer's opinion. You should really get advice from other dancers." (Maybe it's just that at the moment, they have my ear, but will actually discuss the issue with another dancer when the occasion arises.)

The article is a good explanation that:

After I read this thread yesterday afternoon, I saw "coverage" of it on last night's 11:00 p.m. news on KOMO-TV. Yep, the "tree trimmers" took off more than the girls inside do. They barely still look like trees. There are two pics of the damage at this link (scroll to the bottom for the second. It also shows one of the unused driveway aprons I mentioned above):

I couldn't find KOMO's film on line. It gave a little better view than these pics do, but it was a very brief story, probably not worth posting on their website.

I go to this club sometimes. It's not my most-frequented, but I'm familiar with it. Two thoughts:
1. At first I thought the article was serious about the "taking off too much part," because my last time in their, a dancer I was with immediately began removing her top once in the VIP. Washington state lap dances legally, are bikini only. But she said, "No one told me I couldn't take my top off." So, right there, I was in for a better-than-usual dance.
2. As for the real part of that story, the city of Seattle has done an extremely poor part of maintaining its portion of the public right-of-way in front of the club. The sidewalk needs replacement, and there are several curb cuts (for driveways) that are no longer needed. The city could have even conditioned prior property owners (Talents West, and now Deja Vu) to do that as part of building permit approvals, but neglected to even send a building inspector out to the site to see what improvements might be necessary that could be charged to the permit applicant. Now the city is complaining about its street trees being trimmed too much? As Farmerart would say, "Sheesh!"

@ Capri: I think you meant "mammary," not "memory." (Surely an autocorrect error.)

Not to steal Art's thunder, but this thread just prompted me to post a bunch of pics from local area (Seattle) cars shows that I took. See my profile pics for about a dozen samples of the entries in these shows.

If the gear is form-fitting it can be sexy. I saw a new prospective CF at one of my local clubs recently. She looked great on stage, but my first sight of her was while she was on the floor, in an oversize, loose fitting football jersey. I couldn't tell what her figure was dressed like that. It's a good thing that she went on stage. (She took the jersey off before even entering the stage and was in a basic two-piece costume at that point). I noticed she didn't sell any dances while walking the floor in that jersey. She was very young, and probably thought her pretty face, alone, was good enough to attract customers.

I had lots of pics of my faves posted, until the TUSCL picture server crashed around last November 21st. I still have them, I just haven't reposted them.

Slick, The Santa Clarita Valley was too far for me to drive to East Los Angeles. But, I did go there many times for lunch when I worked in downtown L.A.

Seattle isn't exactly known as the car capital of the U.S. but we have two huge annual car shows coming up. One this weekend. Several hundred cars will be entered in both shows.
Cruisin' Colby Car Show -- Everett, WA May 26, 2014
http://www.seattlerod-tiques.com/Calendar.aspx
Greenwood Car Show -- Seattle (Greenwood), WA June 28, 2014
http://www.greenwoodcarshow.com/
And if that's not enough, there's the fairly new Le May Car Museum in Tacoma (35 mi. south of Seattle), also with lots of great cars on display.

I see more old, restored cars here on a regular basis than I ever did when I lived in L.A.

You could easily find one of the two qualities in a dancer. But you'll be very unlikely to find both. What you're describing is referred to as "slim and stacked," in the adult entertainment industry. Not that many in that category to be found.

Song length for the customers' benefit is one thing. It's another for the dancers. In talking to a d.j. once about that subject he mentioned to me that he has a delicate balance to make. He has to please both the dancers and the customers. In most clubs, the same music that a dancer is dancing to while on stage is the same music that the dancers are using for their lap dances. The dancers on stage don't want to be on stage for as long as the customers would like to see their songs played for lap dances.
If songs are "too long," the dancers on stage will complain to the d.j. Still, I agree the clubs would benefit from longer songs, because the customers would be happier getting their money's worth. And, a happy customer . . ."

Such a website is very unlikely to exist. You just have to keep checking the websites and Facebook pages of the clubs you go to. They will freely advertise their special events.

An interesting part of this story is right at the end. Did you notice the female news anchor mention "champagne room" at the end of her comments? Sounds like she knows at least a few things about strip clubs.

Funny story! That is, in the style it was written. I like the third to the last paragraph the best: "In car wash parlance . . ." Who'd ever think to compare what you can get at a strip club to what you get at a car wash!

I had a related experience happen once, of a misdirected text: My ATF had a baby sitter who's name was next to mine in her phone's address book. She accidentally texted the baby sitter late one afternoon, "I'm so much looking forward to seeing you tonight." The baby sitter wondered why, considering it was due to be an ordinary night of work for her, that she'd done dozens of times previously for my ATF. Fortunately the sitter knows what kind of work her "boss" does, and when the mix-up was explained, the sitter got a big laugh out of it.

I took a dancer once to see a club where she previously danced, but it wasn't at all like the experience you described. She hadn't worked there in about five years. A remodeling had occurred since she was there; a VIP room was installed, which she was curious to see because she had heard the reports of UHM since the remodel. And she wanted to see who the current crop of dancers were since she left.
I have also taken several dancers to see other strip clubs they hadn't seen. Either they just couldn't make the time for it on their own, or they were clubs that didn't admit unescorted women. The "fun factor" of doing this varies from dancer to dancer. There is one dancer that I prefer to do this the most. She's like a play-by-play announcer of what's going on--particularly her analysis of the dancers and waitresses actions. Very interesting comments from a dancer's perspective
As a few of you have mentioned, that can make for an expensive evening. Especially if you go to more than one club. Just the cover and drink charges alone can add up quickly.
