Detroit strip clubs
It appears to have been filmed in the actual Rhino offices. The décor of the interior scenes is consistent with that inside its clubs. Two other interesting items about the Rhino chain:
1. It has a Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spearmint_Rhino
2. I always thought that the company name, "Spearmint Rhino" was just a couple of meaningless words put together to form a catchy name. But, if you look up that phrase in the urban dictionary, two potential meanings are given. (neither are mentioned in its Wikipedia page, and neither would encourage my attendance at their clubs--yuk):

Just a fat, creepy old pervert.
One of my local strip clubs has "glam" pics on its website of a few of its dancers. I know one of those girls, and she looks so good all made up, with professional hair styling, make-up, and lighting! I have also seen ordinary photos of her and the difference is amazing!

I find that the "unattractive" element of her dancing is for social reasons. It's a shame that she decided to commit herself to caring for fourteen children in the first place. Secondly, that she can't do anything better to provide for them than to resort to stripping. She's age 39 now, and entered the adult entertainment world in her late 30s. See:

Only seven years for me, but the dancer was in her early twenties when she left. Late twenties when she returned. And, like you, the dances were just as good as before!

An important point that you said:
"Ok, just tell em you are just borrowing the phone so I don't get bombed with calls I do not really need."
I gather she didn't do that.

Call the club and ask them. You may not get helpful responses here. If that doesn't work, message me, and I'll give you some available online resources to look for parking.

Well written story! The bullying part is typical of successful dancers. I wonder if any other industry where employees work on commission (automobile sales, real estate, etc.) has a "bullying factor?" For more of Kayden Cross, see:

I've encountered numerous dancers over the years that have no clue what's going on in the news. They don't even watch news on TV, much less read a newspaper, or think to check a daily news source on the internent. I've only ever encountered one dancer that actually subscribed to a newspaper.

Older than dirt
I know one dancer who got busted for prostitution and with three other "standards of conduct" violations (legal termed used here in Seattle), in 2008. She was a high mileage dancer at a known high mileage club at the time. In referring her to other local TUSCL members in recent years, she's been considered low mileage since then. That was her third bust for "dirty dances." It seems that for her, the third time was the charm. Six years later she's still dancing, but has lowered her mileage considerably. No further busts.

Impala's speculation is very good. I concur. However, just be mindful of the conventional wisdom: Enjoy it while it lasts, because it could end at any time. You need to be prepared for a sudden ending.

1. Check your own earlier discussion item, again, for answers to your first question:
https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=30426
2. Check the club listings for answers to your second question.
3. If you have to ask your third question, you probably shouldn't go.
4. It's rare to find a club, anywhere, that is good on a Monday night.

I just happened upon a video of the same subject. It clearly shows the two lots. It appears that the two lots are side-by-side. The correct lot appears to be slightly smaller, but I can't see that there's an appreciable difference in the location, otherwise:

At least that's a better situation than the wrong house being demolished. I've heard of a couple of those stories over the years. I see a solution to this: How about if the two property owners arrange to trade properties, just based on the value of the land? Maybe one lot is larger than the other, but since they're so close by, I would think a trade could be made.

?The 1996 film, "Striptease" had some pretty realistic strip club scenes. The outdoor sign of Cheetah's in Las Vegas was prominently shown, and I the intent was to convey that the indoor scenes were filmed there as well. I later read that the latter part of that wasn't true. If anyone knows where the indoor scenes were filmed, I'd appreciate knowing.
Also, I concur with Slick. The "Jiggly Room" in Married with Children was a great, albeit fictitious, venue. However, what was real was the porn star Letha Weapons and her grossly fake boobs who appeared as the stripper "Rocky Mountains," in one episode. See:
http://www.boobpedia.com/boobs/Letha_Weapons
She was also the first porn star I ever encountered working as a real stripper in a strip club. That club was what is now Bare Elegance, North Hills, CA (two names ago). That was early in my club-going career. I later went on to see six more. There is a seventh, here in Seattle, that I haven't seen yet.

Shadow: Funny! Reminds me of a certain scene in "Porky's" which you discussed recently (and probably many times over the years). The club in question is Dreamgirls at Fox's in Parkland, WA (near Tacoma, not near Seattle), really.

I think this boob job was a scam. She probably paid over $15,000 for it, but all her surgeon did was attached two flesh colored latex balloons, with nipples and areolas painted on. Upon leaving her "doctor's" office, she won't discover how flimsy they are until she goes to bed that night, lies on her stomach, and the balloons pop! By that time her surgeon will be in Mexico

Papi, My response is still the same. I've had an occasional dancer over the years offer me a free dance, and if I didn't like it, I didn't have to pay for it. But, I never took up a dancer on that offer, for the same reasons I didn't like to take advantage of the freebies that were a club promotion.

Papi, I concur. The clubs here in Seattle don't do that, but some clubs in L.A. that I went to offered an occasional "free dance." In was very short. Maybe only 60-90 seconds. If I partake in a free dance, I feel obligated to buy at least one regular dance afterward, as an exchange of favors. Of course, that was the idea of the promotion. I only did the free dances, with dancers I would have wanted to get dances with anyway. If I only did the one free dance, I would still feel obligated to tip the dancer a small amount. So, generally, I don't partake in free dances if they're offered.

Art, the boys are playing with dildos that they found in the house, as if they were toy guns. At least one dildo is a combination vibrator/dildo, hence the background noise that is heard. The mother of the family that lives at that house (woman on the left), suddenly realizes this and is embarrassed in front of her friend, the mother of the other boy.

I have encountered at least one club with a dancer named, "Felony." It would be funny to have a dancer at the same club named, "Miss Demeanor." They could work as a pair, and offer customers a choice: "What level of crime would you like to commit?"
